Pull Down World Map Nystrom V. C. Finch. Listed for the vintage map collector is this wonderful pull down map showing 2 world maps- one is a Finch World Products Series. Map No. 5 showing Cereal Crops-II and Rubber and one Finch World Products Series, Map No. 6 showing Cereal Crops- III. V.C. Finch was a Professor at the University of Wisconsin. The map measures approximately 60" x 49" The map has a canvas back and is in great condition for its age with just one small tear(see photo) I was told that this dated to the 1950's or earlier? Unfortunately the metal mounting is long gone and you would have to manually re-roll the map. I have no knowledge of this type of item so please ask all questions before buying as this is being sold in its found condition. If you need to see more pictures just let me know. You are bidding on a vintage pull down school map of Indians of the State of Indiana. It has some beautiful detail and nice color! It is in nice used shape.Shows some wear. It was made by Hearne Bros. It is about 55" inches wide and I am guessing about 72"84" inches inches tall? The reason I am guessing on the height is that I do not want to pull down all the way and not be able to spring it back up. It really needs to sit on some wall brackets. I took them from the mounts and wiped the maps with a light damp cleaner front and back and it is mostly gone. A very nice map for any collector or geographer! B1- 1923 Breasted Ancient History Series- ANCIENT WORLD- good condition Maps need cleaning. Restoration project. Any map graded good is all there, but may have light edge wear or tears. Graded conservatively.
