This is a neat old pull down school map from 1963. It is made by Denoyer-Geppert Co. in Chicago and is in very nice original condition. The map measures 63 1/4" wide x 48" long when pulled down. The colours are fantastic. The map is of"middle America and shows the United States. Mexico, Columbia, Ecuador, Brazil and lots more. The roller frame is steel and the map"stops" are made of copper. The map appears to be a heavy paper laminated to canvas. There is a wooden"pull" on the bottom of the map. Buyer to pay ACTUAL shipping and insurance costs. This is a very neat old pull down school map of Europe. It measures 39 2/4" wide and is 57" long when pulled down. The colours are fantastic. There is minor edge wear on the bottom edges as is shown in the photos. The map is made by Weber Costello in Chicago Heights. Ill. The map looks like it is a very heavy paper laminated to canvas. This auction is for a lot of 2 Denoyer-Geppert Science Series charts Both by John Sternig and both from 1963 DGS II Chart number 6 Inside the Earth and the atmosphere( has a stain as shown in a detailed image) DGS II chart number 11 Water on Earth( Has about 1of length torn out of the lower rod) Meant to be hung up. Both carts are about 54" wide and 42 tall. The rods extend beyond the 54" width They are 50 years old. Asia Pull Down Classroom Map 1989 Modern School East/West Germany USSR
This is a really neat piece of history. The map was put out in September 1989 so it contains East and West Germany as well as the USSR. East German Gvernment announce on November 9th 1989 the end of the separation. Map is around 3 feet 8 inches across and 5 feet long. There is a plastic coating on the map to protect it. Vibrant colors. There are signs of wear mostly on the bottom 6 inches of the map. As seen in pictures, a small tear can be seen from the back right along the wood pull down bar. Map would look great hung as a piece of art. I've seen people use them to cover the TV. Buyer pays exact shipping. This is an early 1900 pull down school map. Like hung above the chalkboard when I was a kid. The date was on the bottom( where the cloth is rough and the original doll rod is GONE. I think it said 1938. Still shows indo China. Says on bottom of map that published since 1867.

Wonderful vintage 1950 pull down map of Kansas with great graphics! It is from the George F. Cram Company. Inc. of Indianapolis, Indiana(Mark on/Rub Off" Edition# 1521. One interesting fact is that the population of Kansas in 1950 was 1,905,299. I think this was probably used in an elementary school classroom. It is in very good condition for it's age and the mechanism works fine. There are a couple of worn spots but nothing too serious. It is 60" long. Antique Vintage School Pull Down Rand McNally WORLD Map 50" x 64"
This listing is for a Antique"WORLD School Pull Down Map that measures approximately 50" tall by 64" wide. There is a yellow discoloration along the bottom 4 1/2" of the map. The map itself is in good shape and the pull down action works great. This map is marked Special Ranally Political World Modified Sinusoidal Projection. We can't find a date on the map but from what the different countries are called we have narrowed it down to 1930's or 1940's we believe but not sure. There are a couple of pieces of tape on the left edge but it doesn't look like they are there because of rips. Please see pics closely for condition and ask any questions as this is sold as is. Here is a very unique and rare case of maps. The Oak case is in excellent condition(except there is no key) The case is for eight maps. Seven of which are included. There is no map of North America, but instead, a rare 1919 map Of Nebraska made by The National Map Company in Indianapolis Indiana. The other maps were manufactured by A. Flanagan Co. in Chicago. There is water damage on the bottoms of some of the maps. There are also some loose wooden rods, two are included in the case. The case measures 45 1/4 x 16 1/4 x 4 1/4. I acquired this from a dealer from Wyoming. Most likely it came from a school in Nebraska. The Africa map is a Colonial Map showing Belgian Congo. This listing is for a DENOYER GEPPERT world map with original hardware. Wood dowels and mounting brackets. the map pulls down and with a tug rolls back( see pictures) some light frayed edges a few stains but are typical for the age size is 68" wide 54" long Part of shipping cost is the purchase of a PVC pipe which is 4" to hold the weight and protect the map while in transit. PLEASE READ RETURN POLICY If your not satisfied with the map All you need to do is call me eBay told me there going to make it easier to contact the seller after purchasing which is how it used to be. I hope this happens however as it stands emailing the seller is time consuming so people just open a case. Vintage Pre-WW 2 School Pull Down Wall Map, Made by A.J. Nystorm & Co.
Vintage school pull down wall map made by A.J. Nystorm& Company. Edited by V.C. Finch prosper of geography of University of Wisconsin. I believe it is pre World War 2. List countries like French West Africa, Indochina, Anglo-Egyptian-Sudan and many others that are not around any more. Is 62 1/2 inches wide and 4 feet tall. Made from canvas and wood. The edges are a little tattered and dose have a rip in the middle that was taped with a clear masking tape. Who ever did it did to a good job but you can see the gloss of the tape. Beside the rip is in pretty good shape for its age, colors are nice and bright and opens and closes very smoothly. If you have any questions just ask.
