But I think it adds to the vintage look and most of it is on the back. The map still has such great vibrant colors. The roll down mechanism works perfectly. Vintage Nystrom Classroom Pull Down Map This interesting map has two sections. The first section shows Europe at the outbreak of World War II. It illustrates annexations of Europe by Hitler and Mussolini to Sept. 1. 1939 The second section shows Europe in 1953. Illustrating the Atlantic Pact Countries and"Iron Curtain" countries, along with occupation zones of Germany and Austria. Full printed color lithography. This amazing map is 48 inches wide x 74 inches tall. Bracket increases width to 54" wide. Scale is 84 miles to the inch. There is some moisture damage on the bottom. Mostly visible on the reverse.
