Paris is on one side and the area around it on the other. There's also a little booklet glued in front of the map with the hours for a number of attractions printed in both English& French. The maker is F. Dutal of Paris. The map is not dated. But contemporary posters made from this map estimate the date as 1920, and this would fit with the other travel items that i found in the same lot. Folded out, it measures 30 by 22 inches. The red cover has wear and a small tear, but other than one crease at a top corner, the map is in very good condition with no tears on the fold lines. IF YOU PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE ITEM. This is a full-color map of Paris. France, printed on medium-weight paper and measuring 13"x16" There is no date printed on it but we are going with the approximate date of the 1940s, given appearances. It folds up quite small- only 3.5"x5" It has separated along the fold of one panel, and has several very small pin holes at the intersections of other folds, as is normal with old maps, so it is getting a bit fragile. It would look really lovely properly matted and framed, and thereby protected from any further damage. It is the folding and unfolding over so many years that does it. It contains a alphabetical list of the streets of London, and more information, in 96 pages. The map is of the streets of Paris, France, issued by L. Joly. It details transportation and stations all over the city. The book of streets(Rues) lists, in columns, the arrondissment, metro, commencant, and finissant. The book itself is a"hard cover" and has issues, but is still held together by delicate paper. The map is centered on the Seine River. And covers Paris inside the Thiers Wall, and some areas in the immediate vicinity.
