Up for auction I have a VINTAGE Budweiser Clydesdale Horse Carousel Rotating Globe Light. It was give to my late uncle when he worked for Budweiser and Bill Elliott's race team. I was told it was disassembled due t the switch quit working. I do not know if it's been fixed or if it works now. I do know all the parts are here for it. Replogle Glass Lighted Library Globe This Globe will no longer be used by us and is deserving of a good home in its present original condition which is super considering its age. It may look similar to others. But It is an earlier model than most out there. It may be a pre-WW II model. Original finish as pictured. There are a couple extremely tiny chips in the map itself, one up close photo shows its size is as small as a letter in the word Indonesia above it. It would touch up with a marker and would not have to be mentioned, but I want to point out the even the smallest imperfections. If this globe wasn't original and extra nice we wouldn't own it. The finish and teture is crazed as it should be and is still very tight and firm all over. There are some very minor nicks in the wooden stand; none are significant or hurt the piece ... morein value or charm. The crazing in both the wood varnish and the map adds beauty and character to the nature and richness of the globes age. The stand is also very strong and firm and not weak or ever broken or repaired. The original factory paper friction reducer washer on the bottom of the globe between the metal discs Where the light switch is attatched to the harp is still present. It is torn and rather than throw it out we have just kept it there. I plan to ship this in 2 boxes. Stand and globe seperate from each other. The paper is nearly useless and slips back and forth as the globe is picked up or moved so it may slip out slightly when shipped. I can tell you that we consider ourselves to be the very best at boxing up an item so you can be assured it will be very well cared for. Shipping is for the lower 48 states only. The purple lens has an internal crack all the way across but cannot be felt from either the inside or outside surface. Lens is still intact. The opening is 4" There are no chips or cracks. The opening does has the usual rough edge from the factory which is common in these earlier shades. There are 2 scratches from the fixture set screws where the shade attaches to the inside of the fixture which won't be visible when the globe is installed. Great antique/vintage Victorian Art Deco/Nouveau acorn lamp ceiling shade/globe with a brass hanging accent. It's in good antique condition. With one small crack as shown in the 7th picture. The fitter piece has some rough edges/chips which won't be shown when the globe is in the fitter. Shows some signs of wear from usage and age. Please look closely at the pictures. Wi. made of colored plastic feux glass and measures and 21.1/2" round and 12" tall. This light has been rewired with a two prong plug and the metal top has been repainted with a thick coat of white oil base paint, top was really discolored and needed paint, but looks good now, also there was a small tag on top of light that read where and who made light. Light has a three bulb pull chain fixture that works good and has three 40 watt bulbs that are included with light and new string pull.
