'09 antique INDUSTRIAL SOAP DISPENSER hand KEY LOCK glass GLOBE hardware SOAPURN
For sale is an antique industrial soap dispenser. Like something you might see in the bathroom of an old service station. The maker is"SOAPURN" and it is made in the USA. The earliest patent date on the glass globe is 1909 and the latest is 1917. The entire piece measures about 6.5" from the very top of the globe to the bottom of the dispenser rod. It is also almost 5.5" deep from the wall. The diameter of the globe is about 4" The globe is made of glass and the mount is magnetic. I even see a bubble in the glass which is a testament to it's age! This is a super cool industrial piece but the best part of it is the still intact key which turns a screw into the globe so the globe and contents are locked into place and can't be tampered with. This hollow barrel type key has a square opening that slips into the ... morelocking mechanism wonderfully! Sort of reminds me of a pocket-watch key on steroids! I have seen and sold antique soap dispensers before but I have never seen one with a cool key locking mechanism like this! The entire piece is in very nice shape with typical wear and oxidation from age and use, as pictured. The condition is original. It has not been cleaned. There is some cloudiness to the glass globe and light oxidation on the metal parts. There is one small shallow chip on the base of the globe(see last pic) where it articulates with the different metal parts but this is typical and expected and only visible when removed from the mounting bracket. Finally there are some scratches/scuffing on the metal nipple portion a seen close-up in the 7th picture. Please note that I did not remove the glass globe from the'screw-on nipple dispenser' part. It is on there tight and I did not want to force it. If you choose to try and separate them I would suggest soaking it in warm soapy water for a while. Buyer pays shipping fee based on zip-code. Each section is marked with the Globe Werneike trade mark. It is solid and sturdy. It stands evenly on the floor. The windows have antique wavy glass and there are NO breaks. The bookcase is a step-back bookcase- meaning the bottom section is deeper then the rest and extends forward. This is a nice feature for storing larger books. The only other detail is the rear of the bookcase it is not attractive. No explanation- it's just that way- some sections of the laminate backing have opened. We were going to give the back a coat of varnish but never did. We are no longer cleaning up furniture- we are clearing out our inventory. Antique 1925 COLEMAN Quick Lite LANTERN chrome over brass Mica globe
Fresh from a Nova Scotia estate, I'm offering an old Coleman Lantern dated 25- 9(Sept. 1925) Research tells us this is probably a Coleman 427 lantern. This is a chrome over brass lantern with The Coleman Lamp Company Limited. Toronto, Canada on the vent. The rust on the frame has not been cleaned nor has the"rest" with the holes that spell COLEMAN QUICKLITE. The little door on the mica globe will move up and down but there are other holes in the mica; see photo. I lubricated the fuel"open and close" wheel so it turns freely. I don't have a hand pump so this old Coleman is offered as is and untested. A genuine antique which no doubt can be made operative. Winner pays mailing cost.

VINTAGE ANTIQUE EARLY 1940s RAND McNALLY 16" WORLD TERRESTRIAL ART GLOBE NICE!
Up for auction is a wonderful big 16" Rand McNally Terrestrial Art Globe. I've dated to some where around the early 1940s I found this wonderful globe without a stand so needs to find a home were someone could provide it with a nice stand. It's in pretty nice overall condition. I took pics of most of all the flaws. One small dent toward the bottom of South America. There is also a spot toward the bottom of Alaska were there are some very small holes punched in to the globe. Someone covered this with a piece of tape. There is also some darkening in areas of the globe. See pics for overall condition. Please ask me any questions before bidding.

Its overall measurement is Appox. 16" in length x 6 3/4" wide x 5" in height. These are in great condition. Vintage 60's Antique Tan Replogle LeRoy M. Tolman World Classic Series 12" Globe
This globe looks like a new globe because it is in such great condition. However. I believe it is probably 40 to 50 years old. It is a beautiful antique tan in color, rather that the more common bright blue, with attractive pastel pink, turquoise, sage green, and peach colored continents. It is marked"12" World Classic Series Replogle Globe Inc. Made In USA, LeRoy M. Tolman Cartographer" The base is wood and the frame is metal. You have to really search to see any little nicks or scratches. I only saw a couple of very tiny ones. It would look great in a den or family room with brown leather furniture because of its tan color. It stands 17 inches tall and the wood base is 8 inches in diameter. Gorgeous!

I have a Replogle globe from around 1935 or 1936. It is a"Diplomat" and the cartographer's name is Gustav Brueckmann. It stands four feet tall and has a beautiful wood base. It use to belong to Vernon James Pick and was in his Walden North mansion until he past away in the mid 1980's. I have owned the globe ever since. It is a beautiful antique and worth owning. Antique Light Fixture Outdoor Porch Ceiling Glass Metal Globe Vintage
Up for auction is an antique light fixture. Probable for a porch. Looks like an outdoor fixture. The fixture is metal. Painted white. The globe is white glass. The acorn at the end of the glass is cast aluminum. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. One very tiny chip on the globe edge that goes into the fixture, hardly noticeable. Some surface rust on the metal, paint worn/faded. Globe has scuffs and marks. Looks like a new socket has been put into it. Has the original screws that hold the globe on. It measures 12" long. Fixture is 5 1/4" diameter, globe is about 6" diameter, opening that goes into the fixture is 3 1/8" diameter. This is a really neat antique light fixture that would great as a porch light ... moreor hallway. Antique Wooden Document tray made by Globe-Wernicke Co., Cincinnatti
The Globe Files Company from Cincinnati was founded in 1882. In 1899. It purchased the Wenicke Company, founded in 1893) to form the Globe-Wernicke Company of Cincinnati. This company is best known for their high end Bookcases, Desks and other office Furniture. I was lucky enough to find one of their document trays at an Estate Auction, this past week and would like to pass it on to you. I wish I had enough room on my desk for it, but sadly, I don't. This wooden tray measures approximately 15" X 10" X 2 1/2" It is in surprisingly good shape for its age. The sticker is intact and their are few slight scratches or marks on it. It has beautifully dovetailed construction and is sturdy enough to hold documents for another hundred years. I am asking only $15.00 for this tray, passing the savings on to you. Thanks for looking.

Rare find from an estate sale. Is this Sea line brass oil lamp that sets in wall bracket. As the ship rocks with the waves. The bracket holds the lamp. So it stays upright; the rings rotate. Causing the lamp to stay upright, so the light doesn't tip. The glass globe fits into rim. So it stays on the lamp as the ship rocks. The brass bottom has Sea line marked on the front and"British Starhinge Burner" is written just below where wick comes up. On the knob that raises and lowers wick is marked"Sherwoods Ltd. BHAM" At the estate sale there was one of these lamps on each side of the fire place. But I only managed to get one of them. I believe this oil lamp is an antique and for its age is in very good condition. Please view pictures and be the judge because I am no expert. However, I plugged it into the house, and nothing blew up, lol. Originally in 1936, this cost $386, which was a lot back then. 110 on the motor or whatever is on the top. But you need to know about the cord having issues, the old plug, etc. I have not cleaned andy of this. This is for the buyer to handle so I don't ruin it. It measures 17" tall and 10" across the top tier. In addition to the striking black Art Deco design; the shape is spectacular! The fixture features an aluminum crown. Old World armillary spin globe made of brass and wood. Has zodiac signs on middle shelf and solid inner bar. 12" high by 10' wide. The body is in very good shape. The spin arrow shows a bit of wear as can be seen in the pics. Bottom tag says it was made in Italy. No date that it was made. I haven't been able to find another one exactly like it. Looks very nice on a wooden desk.
