This is a huge 16" diameter Crams Imperial World Globe. It was originally mounted on a wooden base that was damaged. So I securely mounted it to this beautiful brass and marble base from a vintage lamp. It is a very heavy base and it`s weight makes it almost impossible to overturn. I looked online and saw that there is a removable wood ring that sits on the wood base over the globe. I do not have it. That is why I am selling it for the price I am. Globe spins and the only defect is approximately 8 PINHOLES(and I said pinholes) only seen upon very close inspection when lit. Stand is 23" tall and entire globe is 33" tall. Base in mint condition, no nicks. I would call this one a 98 on scale of 100. This is a beautiful piece to anybody's collection and also a very rare globe. Please ask questions before bidding.

This is a CARTOCRAFT Physical-Political 16 inch Globe edited by C.B. Odell. On the globe National Capitals are underlined and Political Boundaries are shown in purple. The globe is 22.5" tall and is 21" wide. Globe is in excellent condition considering its age. The Globe itself is brilliantly colored and has no loss of paper. The mounting is also in excellent condition and shows little wear. In photo 6 can be seen a horizontal crack in one of the wooden legs of the base. The leg is still structurally sound and shows no indication of splitting off. This appears to be simply wood age related and not actual damage. Photo 7 shows where a small piece of wood is missing on the underside of the wooden ring. This also appears to be related to the manufacture and age of the wood ring and is not actual breakage. The moveable wooden ring's ... morepurpose was to demonstrate how a satellite orbits the planet.The scale is 1:31.600,000. One inch equals 500 miles 1 centimeter equals 316 kilometers. The major ones I found are pictured. The globe itself has one defect, a crack, also pictured. The globe and base measure 33" tall with the diameter of the base being 23' There are three legs which detatch with screws. It will be shipped this way to save on space. For sale is a Vintage Replogle(16 inch Diameter) World Classic Series Globe. It was made by Replogle Globes. Inc. made in the U.S.A. and LeRoy M. Tolman, was Chief Cartographer. It is a Floor Standing Globe on Wood Shaft and Metal Base. It is approximately 38" tall. The stand will be disassembled to save on shipping costs and it is easy to reassemble. Vintage 16 inch Rand McNally International Globe
Vintage Rand McNally Globe This is an old desktop globe on a hollow square base. Base was designed to hold a world atlas. Which is not present. Base measures 9.5 x 12 inches. Diameter of the globe is 16 inches. Total height of the globe is 18 inches. It doesn't have a year on it. But I believe it is circa 1982. It is old enough that it shows the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic before it was divided up into several nations. It shows the oceanic topography as well. Color is good. Most of the land masses are one color. There is not a different color for each country. This would make a nice addition to a globe or map collection. Also would be cool for a history classroom. I ship within three days of receiving payment. Usually same or next business day.

The piece is in original condition with one minor scratch on the paper near the bottom of the globe( see picture) The wood base has a few minor scratches on it( see pictures) The Globe looks to be from the early to mid 1980's.
