The tallest item appears. To us, to be a brass housing piece for a light. It is approx. 9" tall and 8 1/2" wide(including handles on each side) The top is marked BETTS MACH CO. Warren. PA Model B-30 US Pat. 27077417 Can. Pat. 522093 In looking up the US Patent it appears this is a J.J. DE FREES Sealing Means for Lamp Housing Closure. Filed Sept. 7, 1951 There is a brass item(widest round in photo) stamped"PILOT HOUSE CHART ROOM" It has a lid with a handle. When lid is opened it is hollow. Dimensions: 5" wide x 3" tall(not including handle) The lid handle is approx 2 1/2" long. We also have another brass item that is stamped on ... moretop: PILOT HOUSE RADAR OPERATION OPEN BRIDGE This item also has a similar lid as the other. Offered for sale is a vintage nautical navigation light. It has an internal. And removable ABCO oil lamp. I believe that it is made from copper and solder-joined. The only markings on it are on the oil lamp adjuster. ABCO 1) The chimney has a swivel top to allow access to the lamp globe. For sale are two brass nautical/industrial Brass explosionproof light housings. I was told these were from the 40s but cannot confirm that. They were made by R. Lovell& Company in Arlington New Jersey. They are made of brass but at some point were painted. So. They have been sandblasted back to their original condition. I scratched a little spot on one of them so you can see the brass underneath the patina. These could be polished if you prefer, but I think the patina is beautiful. For sale is a trio of vintage lamps made using vintage copper and brass ship's lanterns made by Tung Woo of Hong Kong. The lamps have different colors of glass; green. Red, and clear(yellowish) The 3 ship lanterns are the same size, but one of them(with the clear glass) is primarily brass, is mounted on a taller wooden base, and is made into a lamp in a different style, making it taller than the other 2 lamps. The lanterns on the 2 small lamps appear to be primarily made of copper. The tops of the lanterns all open. The 2 smaller lanterns have silver-colored(chrome? reflectors installed behind the bulbs. The lamps all have 3-way switches, for lighting either 1) top bulb only, 2) lantern small bulb only, or 3) both bulbs. I believe this to be a vintage ship/nautical/maritime oil lantern in good condition. Made of copper, brass and a amber/yellowish tinted globe shaped glass w/ no cracks or chips. The lantern measures 11"H x 7.5"W and has a small removable oil lantern that enters the lantern through a small hole in the base of the lantern. I left the metal the way I found this piece and only cleaned up the glass globe. I do not see any reason why this lantern would not function properly. Vintage Nautical Maritime Ship Wheel Hanging Lantern Ceiling Light Fixture Lamp
Vintage Nautical Maritime Electric Ship Wheel Hanging Lantern Ceiling Light Fixture Lamp. Has 3 Lantern style lights hanging from the ship wheel. Made to be hard wired into the ceiling. All the wires are present. All the frosted glass shades are in great shape. There are some scratches on the ship wheel. But those can be touched up pretty easy if desired. One og the hanging lanterns is missing a twist on fastener for the top of one of the rods that goes from top to bottom. This does not effect the use. All in all this is a great nautical piece. Measures 24" across the ship wheel. Each lantern is 7"H and 6" wide. Hangs down about 22"

You are bidding on a nice solid wood ship's block and tackle with decorative rope lamp. Not sure of the age but could be aprx. 50s or 60s. measure 21 1/2 tall x 1 Ft across the front and 8" deep. Shade is 14" in diameter at widest part. Oval in shape aprx 9 deep. Shade has some yellowing from age, the back of the shade does have some ripples. Works great, wiring in good shape. Nice Brass Chase USA Old Ship Maritime Lamp Vintage Nautical Light, Red & Blue!
This is such a wonderful piece; almost hate to part with it. It is marked underneath. Chase! Measures 8.5" tall and 4.5" across its base. No cracks or chips to glass. There is all over ware to the brass, but in my opinion that adds character and tells a story. As you can see by the pics, it works in both places. I am selling an old PERKO Ship Light. As pictured. There are 4-5 small cracks in the metal around the screws, but it is still very solid and together structurally. I am not sure how old it is. Salvaged from the AP168 USS Gage The Last Journey for the USS Gage By E.B. Fletcher On Thursday. July 23, 2009, the aged creaking hulk of the once proud USS Gage slowly made her way from the James River Reserve Fleet for her last journey to Brownsville, Texas where she will be demolished. The Gage stoically cooperated with the McAllister tugs which were assigned to tow her from Hampton Roads. The Gage's weather beaten hull was blotched with rust hiding any prior Navy gray paint. Her anchors were gone and the only visible sign of any life aboard this forgotten lady were the remnants of an abandoned Osprey nest cradled within one of her forward masts. The Gage(APA-168) ... morewas an amphibious/attack transport designed to sail to the site of amphibious operations carrying assault troops and support equipment during World War II. Up for auction is a vintage antique signed Perko nautical maritime chrome plated oil lamp recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition, but is missing parts such as the bracket, wick and glass chimney. The base is signed"Perko" Someone wrote the word"Dee" in red on the base too. The area where the wick is put is clean and not used or hardly used. It shows little to no signs of burning marks or anything of that nature. There is moderate tarnishing and marking of the brass on the outside but most of it is purely cosmetic. There is some oxidization here and there but nothing major. This lamp does not come with a handle but has the holes for one. In terms of keys for the keyholes or locks or anything. MASTHEAD nautical/ Marine Ships Oil Lamp/ Lantern- 10 1/2" tall from base to top of handle. That's about all I know about this piece! Please review the photographs and ask questions if you have them. I will tell you what I see below. But I don't know anything about these things. It appears to be. From what I see on the Internet, an oil lamp or lantern for a ship. It appears complete to me, again based what I see on the Internet. I see the lantern, a metal reflector inside, a wick in a holder, with a knob that turns to raise the wick. Back of the lantern slides up and down to access the inside. At the back of the lantern. At the top, it says Made in England. On the front of the lantern. On top(the chimney? it has a decorative little plaque that says Masthead. Inside. On the handle that turns, believe it says Sherwood, but it's ... morehard to see. Also inside. On the brass colored piece that holds the wick, it says WEDGE. This was advertised as a"vintage marine oil lantern" The auction I just purchased this at. I do not know if it is old. A repro, original, in part or in whole, or if it is in working order. I can tell you that when I slipped my hand inside. There was some black dirt that resembled SOOT. At some point, I believe this was used. The fabric wick appears clean/unused. Assuming that was replaced. The globe is rounded and feels thin. I do see waves or imperfections. And what may be little bubbles. It almost feels plastic to me, but why would plastic be wavy or contain little bubbles? I just don't know. There is a dent to the right of the masthead label. And another small ding at the rear, left side, about 3 inches from the top of the sliding door. Other than that, aside from needing a very good cleaning and dusting, and a few scratches or minor markings, this looks wonderful to me. Please take a moment to view all photographs. The base of the lamp is 10" in diameter, and around 2" in depth. The middle disk is the same size as the base, and both are bordered with fisherman's rope. The 4 large belaying pins surrounding the center trunk of the lamp along with the fisherman's rope gives the lamp a real nautical touch. The base of the lamp is 18" in length, 14" in width, and 3" thick. The lamp is 32" in height to the top of the harp where the shade sets. The shade measures 6.5" in diameter on the top, 14" on the bottom, and is 11" in height. Securing the shade is a heavy brass ship's steering wheel finial. The base of this lamp is bordered with fisherman's rope, as is the base of the porthole clock, and the anchor chain pole. There may be some scuffs marks ... moreor nicks on the wood of the lamp from its journeys, but I would say this lamp is in great condition for its age. Vintage Antique STERN Nautical Hong Kong Copper Brass Oil Navigation Lantern 9"
This lantern was probably acquired in Singapore where my father-in-law operated a salvage diving business in the 70's.he was US Navy Diver. Who spent a lot of time on boats-and then driving ships, once he retired. The wick is trimmed, slides securely down and there is a reflector that slides in behind it. The wick cap does not click securely to the oil reservoir, though. The thumb wheel turns the wick up and there is one to open the hatch to pull up and refill the reservoir. The top clicks down securely where the ring is positioned. I have some better pictures but am having some trouble uploading from that camera. Email me if you would like to see more.

Here is a BEAUTY of an old VINTAGE/ANTIQUE PERKO ship/ boat running light. This is an ORIGINAL BRONZE or Brass not sure very heavy 6 pounds. This is a HUGE 10 inch long x 5 1/2 wide x 5 inch tall ORIGINAL PERKO. This has a clear glass and the GLASS is in MINT CONDITION Has a really nice PURPLE TINT TO THE GLASS FROM YEARS OUT ON THE WATER. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The Bronze has a few chrome specs remaining in a couple of spots and a couple of faint very minor spots-scratches. There is a mark on the rim photo 6 and there are a couple of foundry pour marked when it was made photo 7. Has polished up very nice. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE STUNNER OF A PIECE from a time gone by. I am not sure if this might have been a STERN LIGHT. There is NO light in the housing but the socket is there as well as the circular marked PERKO light plug ... morephoto 12 reads PERKO. They are solid copper with glass lenses and appear to be very nice quality lamps. We believe that these were made in the 1960's era as replacements for the original antique lamps. I would imagine that they were very expensive to purchase when new. They measure 9 1/2 inches tall" not counting the bail handle" by about 6 inches wide. They are in very nice condition with only a couple fairly minor little dents. The ne burner has the chimney and the other burner does not.
