One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. The lantern is very dusty& dirty, and could use a good cleaning, but structurally it appears to be fine, with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable lantern!

Vintage The Portable Light Co. New York Nautical spotlight base solid brass?
Here's a vintage base/stand for a nautical search/spotlight made by The Portable Light Co. New York. It seems to be made almost entirely of chrome plated brass or copper. Though confusingly there are some signs of rust in certain areas and it is very faintly magnetic. My best guess is that a thin layer of iron was put over the copper or brass base before the chrome was applied to act as a bonding agent. Everything still rotates well and would be perfect for use if put with a fitting spotlight. There is some paint staining and copper oxidization present. Mostly on the conical base piece. The chrome plating on that area is also quite dull and faded. The base is also marked"STYLE/1-MILE-RAY" NO RESERVE. Please make sure you contact me if you have any questions. This is a very unique Maritime item. It's brass light with 5 sided glass. They had filaments of green and red. Port and Starboard are on the light. As you can see the colors had brittle. I cant find any maker on the light. It is 13" tall and around 25" around from the thickest section 9" Diameter. A great piece to have. Needs a good cleaning and polish. Please see pictures.

Offered for sale is a rare size 15" tall Vintage Cargo Light Kerosene Lantern Holder NO 3954 Made in Great Britain 1939. This lantern holder is in great original condition with lots of patina. A couple dents on the top but nothing major, the glass is all good with no chips or cracks, the handles are fine and they are the original ones, the rods that protect the glass are also all good, it is a great piece. This lantern/lamp holder measures 15" tall not including the handles, it is about 7" wide from rod to rod and you can fit a normal size lamp inside, you don't have to have a glass chimney, because it already has side glass panels. Rare Vintage Ethan Allen Nautical Lantern Lamp
A rare vintage Ethan Allen featured nautical lamp. The beautiful lantern lamp has a flickering bulb in the lantern. And a 3 way light switch, which controls both the lamp and the lantern. On each side of the lantern is a railing with belaying pins, giving this lamp an authentic nautical look. The base of the lamp is 14" in length. 9.5" in width, and 2" in depth. The lamp stands 31" to the top of the harp where the shade sets. The shade measures 12" in diameter on top, 14" on the bottom, and is 12" in height. The wood on the lamp may have some scuffs marks or nicks, but it appears to be in great condition for it's age. This beautiful nautical lamp will definitely fit in with any decor.

Vintage/Antique Ship's Brass Collectible Large Nautical working Lantern
Here is a Brass Boat Lantern Nautical. Vintage, Brass, Working, Large heavy duty. There is no name on it but the glass has VIM on it. The glass is special because it is thick glass and this is made so it is a much brighter light so you can much further away that regular glass. It weights approx. 6 3/4 lbs. by its self. Measures approx. 18" Tall( out handle it is about 14" tall) x 6 3/4" D. You unscrew the screw on top to open, lift the tank out by the lifter handles, unscrew wick, fill tank, screw wick back in place, put tanker back in place by the lifter handles and you are ready to go. Most of the time the lifter handles are missing. Only thing I see wrong not bad is a very small chip in glass(see last picture) Insurance will be required. Questions are welcomed. Vintage Brass Nautical / Train Light Oil Lantern / Lamp
Here is a brass oil lamp marked made in England as it the burner it looks to be in very good condition. It may be off of a ship or train. It has a bracket to mount it to a bulkhead or a wall that is with it. Just mount the bracket to the bulkhead or wall and the lamp just slides into the bracket so it can removed to refuel the light. You can also just remove the burner and tank to refuel the lamp.The lamp is approximately 12" tall by 4 3/4" deep by 6 5/8"wide. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. This is a Vintage Ceiling Light Fixture. It dates from the 1940's- 50's and is fashioned after a Ships Wheel. It is 13 1/2 inches across by about 8 inches long. The ceiling bracket is metal painted off white. The glass globe has a molded in design and is clear and Fired On White. The ship wheel hangs on the perimeter of the globe and is made of clear yellow hard plastic. It is in Good Condition just would need to be wired in.

The more important outer clear and inner red are nice. The line in the red glass is not a crack-it is lead that has run down the glass! Pair Vintage Brass Cargo Ship Boat Nautical Maritime Oil Wedge Lantern Light
Up for sale is a beautiful pair of old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. These are really fine old lanterns. And very well made. The rivets are copper. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" with the handle up they measure 22 1/2" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. They are in excellent condition with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable pair of lanterns!

VINTAGE 30's/40's WILMOT CASTLE Type 80 MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL NAUTICAL SEARCH LIGHT
Here is a beautiful Wilmot Castle Company Type 80(Model 80) surgical light(100w Clear Spotlight) from the 1930's and 1940's. Some of these were used as search lights. Also. I was told that this particular one came from a US Naval vessel. It was in an auction with several Navy ship parts such as portholes from a minesweeper. With the green salty patina it has in places, I tend to believe the story. This light works well. I has a couple of very small dings, and a small area on the lens is scratched. I used a pen to show you the size. The light includes a 110v plug so it doesn't have to be hardwired. It also includes the mounting base, which is usually missing from these. I only wiped it down with a rag and a little Windex. I didn't want to mess up the patina. Some people like that look. I'm including a 2 pack of 100w Halogen ... morebulbs. It will ship with the testing bulb inside. This light is highly collectible. I've sold a few in the past. If you Google them, some of them have sold for upwards of over $1,900! I'm really drawn to these lights when I see them. I think they have an awesome look. Can you imagine the stories it could tell? Rare Vintage Nautical Wood Porthole Lamp Clock, Anchor, & Pulley

This beautifully crafted lamp also has a ship’s anchor chained to a post wrapped with fisherman’s rope. There is also a one rope wooden pulley, which adds to the nautical theme of this unique lamp. The lamp is 18" in width, 14" in depth, and 32" in height to the top of the harp where the shade sets. The shade measures 6.5" in diameter on the top, 14" on the bottom, and is 11" in height. Securing the shade is a heavy brass ship's steering wheel finial. Bordering the base of the lamp is fisherman's rope, as is the base of the porthole clock, and the anchor chain pole. VINTAGE NEPTUNE NAUTICAL BRASS OIL LANTERN-1920s This is a lantern that would have been used on a ship or in some other“nautical” way. The lid has a latch and a hook. When you open the top part. It exposes the inner lantern with chimney. This lantern can be removed by pulling up on the 2 brass handles in opposite corners. The wick is in good condition and can be used. In the main lantern housing. There are 4 panes of glass that fit into a track and are removable for cleaning. There are a few chips in the bottom of this glass but they do not show from the outside. This auction is for 2 Vintage Seahorse Ship Lights. With no reserve. There are no burners in the lanterns, the auction includes what is shown. The lanterns show wear, have some paint drips, appear to have been repainted, have chips and scratches and can be seen in the eighteen(18) pictures below. I see no holes in the metal and they appear solid. The lanterns are 22" tall not including the handle and are 14" wide- left side corner to right side corner. The Port lantern is missing the"T" screw at the side bracket. The Starboard lantern has the"T" screw in the side bracket. The lenses have glare in my photos, I see no cracks or large scratches in the lenses. The lanterns will be shipped in two separate boxes. Back and forth This spot light came out of the estate of the guy who used to work at the Works Progress Administration under President Roosevelt. Most likely it dates back to the 1930's. The back of the spotlight was painted with a black enamel years ago and the paint may hide the manufacturer's name on it.
