This is a beautiful copper and brass kerosine anchor light with a nice aged patina. It is in is in excellent condition. There are no dents. Cracks or missing parts. All parts are made with heavy gauge copper and brass. The lens is thick heavy glass. You can see some small air bubbles inside the glass) This is truly a quality lamp that will last for many years. My father and I used this lamp on our many sailing trips on the Great Lakes and inland lakes in Minnesota. The dimensions are 10 and 1/2 inches high by 5 and 1/2 inches in diameter. I believe this to be a vintage ship/nautical/maritime oil lantern in good condition. Made of copper, brass and a amber/yellowish tinted globe shaped glass w/ no cracks or chips. The lantern measures 11"H x 7.5"W and has a small removable oil lantern that enters the lantern through a small hole in the base of the lantern. I left the metal the way I found this piece and only cleaned up the glass globe. I do not see any reason why this lantern would not function properly. This auction is for one vintage ship spot light. We bought this fixture from a local estate. It belonged to a man that served in the Navy as a dentist. This was part of a large lot of vintage dental equipment that we purchased. We were told that it was from one of the many military ships that he practiced on. The fixture does work. There is a separate bulb socket mounted on the plate that supports the round light diffuser that is not wired. But the bulb in the center of the diffuser works(see pictures) Cosmetically, there are scratches and plenty of wear. It was painted black at some point and that paint is flaking and there is surface rust present(see pictures) It has been in storage for quite a while and it needs to be cleaned. Great Matching Pair of Old. Marine Ship's Lantern Lamps. These look like Brass.and they also look like Bronze.I can't be sure. I DO know that the Handles are Bronze. I am estimating that these probably date back to Late World War I or Early World War II and may well have been used on military vessels and/or Merchant marine vessels. They are Electric and have Rotating Shutters both on the body and in the bottoms of the lamps. In this way, the light could be closed off both from the sides and the bottoms as need be.kind of an early manual rheostat. These both Measure 8" Tall to the top of the Threaded, Screw-in Lid. The lid, itself measures 3 3/4" Diameter and has a 1 1/2" tall Wire Pass-through apparatus. To the top of the extended handle measures 12" The Base of the lantern measures 5 1/2" Diameter. Up for auction is a vintage boating warning light recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition. I am unable to test this to see if it is operational or not, but certainly could be made to work. This light has a tear drop shape and would be mounted in the bow to determine port or starboard sides. It is consistent with 1950-60's era boats. This light would be great for reuse or as a nautical decorative accessory. There is pitting and paint on the chrome surface, as seen in the photos. The lens appears to be plastic. It has a nice deco appearance. I cannot find any markings or numbers. This light measures approximately 3 7/8" x 6 1/4" x 3 14" in size. A nice maritime piece. Vintage Marine Ship Navigation Light Nautical Maritime Lantern Clear Boat WW II
My husband is organizing his shop and parting with quite a few items. Here is one of those items and his description of it: Maybe a good Christmas gift for the nautical collector in your life? Vintage marine ship’s iron navigation light. 180 degree clear glass Fresnel lens Navy? WWII? I picked this up at an estate sale and planned to use it as yard lighting. Turned out it did not fit the landscape plan. This is a large ships navigation light. Either for the stern(showing white two points abaft of the beam, starboard and port) or masthead light(forward, showing two points abaft of beam, both starboard and port) This shows a bit of light surface rust in spots. The result of years at sea. There is no internal mounting or wiring for a bulb, but that could be easily designed and installed. The gasket around the hinged lid is missing, but could ... morebe replaced with some type of weather-stripping. There are two small chips in the Fresnel lens, as shown in the photo. These should not affect the durability of the lens. You can see the imperfections in the lens from the glass casting process, as sign of its age. This stands 11 ½ inches tall. 8 inches in diameter(across) 9 inches across the top latch and hinge. The Fresnel lens is full width and 7 inches high. The base is round with“bayonet” mounting slots and is 5 ¾ inches outside and 5 3/16 inch inside diameter. The lid is held closed by a hinge on one side and thumb bolt on the other. The lid swings open freely. This is how I found it, I only cleaned the lens to confirm no other damage. I put a light inside it to show what it looks like illuminated for the pictures. The light does not come with this piece of marine hardware. As many ships navigation lights are made of brass or bronze. I can’t help to wonder if this was from a WWII ship, a time when these metals were in short supply and needed for munitions manufacture for the war effort. This is a nautical theme hand painted wood table lamp with a lighthouse seagulls sailing ships sailboats and ocean. It has a crackle type surface and is hand painted. The pictures do not do it justice. The colors are very strong. blue white black green yellow red. It is a gorgeous lamp. It works great. It does not come with a shade. It is 28" tall to the top, the base is about 15" tall. It was bought at an antique shop, but I think it is Vintage. It has a sticker at the bottom that says Shady Lady.

Mthe base measures 16.5 tall with the harp 25 inches at the top. It Works too. the cord is good the harp is included. Just find the right shade to your taste. Very cool listed under what other have sold for. The lever works backs and forth. It is used and is around 50 years old so it does show some wear. But I think it adds to the vintage look of it.
