ANTIQUE VINTAGE MILK GLASS AND ALUMINUM MOUNTED BOAT LIGHT
Vintage mounted boat light. The milk glass shade screws onto the housing that looks to be cast aluminum. The aluminum has been painted grey at some point and is chipping off in some areas. The socket is encased within the housing and is mounted to a 4 1/2" diameter of wood. The light is 4 1/4" deep extending from the wall and the light shade is 4 1/2" diameter. There are no markings on them.

Antique Vintage Wedge Brass lantern, maritime lamp, nautical light mine railroad
amazing antique vintage brass oil lantern. I dont know exactly the age of the piece but it is in really good shape. The main material is brass with cool copper rivets, there are a couple steel pieces that keep the piece together. the lantern has the original patina it has not been cleaned, some people prefer it like that. this is an estate sale find in great condition, measurements 4 1/2 deep 4 1/2 wide this measurements are of the box only by 9 1/2 tall. please feel free to contact me with any questions, thanks you.

All parts are made with heavy gauge copper and brass. The lens is thick heavy glass. You can see some small air bubbles inside the glass) This is truly a quality lamp that will last for many years. A heavy brass wall bracket mounted nautical lamp. It is now electrified. But presumably wasn't always so. Therefore there would have a bottom burner inset, that is no longer here. Overall still very nice. If you put on a new plug the lamp works. The lamp weighs 8 pounds. Stands 15" tall. Not counting the top bail handle. Not marked as to maker. Salvaged from the AP168 USS Gage The Last Journey for the USS Gage By E.B. Fletcher On Thursday. July 23, 2009, the aged creaking hulk of the once proud USS Gage slowly made her way from the James River Reserve Fleet for her last journey to Brownsville, Texas where she will be demolished. The Gage stoically cooperated with the McAllister tugs which were assigned to tow her from Hampton Roads. The Gage's weather beaten hull was blotched with rust hiding any prior Navy gray paint. Her anchors were gone and the only visible sign of any life aboard this forgotten lady were the remnants of an abandoned Osprey nest cradled within one of her forward masts. The Gage(APA-168) ... morewas an amphibious/attack transport designed to sail to the site of amphibious operations carrying assault troops and support equipment during World War II. Up for auction is a vintage antique signed Perko nautical maritime chrome plated oil lamp recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition, but is missing parts such as the bracket, wick and glass chimney. The base is signed"Perko" Someone wrote the word"Dee" in red on the base too. Both are best seen in photo#5. This lamp is weighted so when hung, it will maintain in an upright position. The base has an approximate diameter of 2 3/4" and measures approximately 6 1/4' in size. The chrome has some pitting and staining. The name of the burner is difficult to make out, but might be original to the piece. A nice decorative accessory as is. Vintage Maritime Ship Light Spot Lamp Antique Marine Flood Fixture Ship Military
This auction is for one vintage ship spot light. We bought this fixture from a local estate. It belonged to a man that served in the Navy as a dentist. This was part of a large lot of vintage dental equipment that we purchased. We were told that it was from one of the many military ships that he practiced on. The fixture does work. There is a separate bulb socket mounted on the plate that supports the round light diffuser that is not wired. But the bulb in the center of the diffuser works(see pictures) Cosmetically, there are scratches and plenty of wear. It was painted black at some point and that paint is flaking and there is surface rust present(see pictures) It has been in storage for quite a while and it needs to be cleaned. Vintage Antique STERN Nautical Hong Kong Copper Brass Oil Navigation Lantern 9"
This lantern was probably acquired in Singapore where my father-in-law operated a salvage diving business in the 70's.he was US Navy Diver. Who spent a lot of time on boats-and then driving ships, once he retired. The wick is trimmed, slides securely down and there is a reflector that slides in behind it. The wick cap does not click securely to the oil reservoir, though. The thumb wheel turns the wick up and there is one to open the hatch to pull up and refill the reservoir. The top clicks down securely where the ring is positioned. I have some better pictures but am having some trouble uploading from that camera. Email me if you would like to see more.
