This is a very nice 32" stern light Mahogany flag pole with Beehive glass globe. The globe is 2 1/4" tall. And 2 1/2" wide. The light is untested. The globe is damage free with no chips or cracks. The mahogany pole is in excellent condition also. The tattered flag was on it when I got it so it is incuded as I don't want to be the one to separate them after all these years. Chromed Brass Erico-Kainer Co. Stern Light
This is a chromed brass stern light made by Erico-Kainer Co. Chicago. Illinois. The company was in operation during the late 1920's. The light stands 21-1/2" at full extension and can be adjusted to a lower height. The glass globe has a slight circle crack but is not completely cracked as seen in the photo and the lip of the globe has a section gone. The globe is still serviceable and will seal with a gasket replacement. The electrical socket is in in good condition and just needs to be wired up. There is no international shipping for this item and I offer free shipping to the lower 48 states.

A one of a kind nearly impossible to find gem that's always been free from pets and clearly is not beat up or neglected like so many others of its era. There simply isn't a comparable duplicate out there that's been cared for like this. Belonged to my father who was a USN mustang with a 37-year career serving our country in WWII. Korea and Vietnam before retiring as a Chaplain. WW2 era LARGE Ship's ANCHOR / Stern LIGHT by NV Industria ROTTERDAM--It's HUGE !
I am pleased to offer for your consideration this very large Ship's Lamp which I was told dates back to pre-WW2. And was made by N.V. Industria Rotterdam. It is all brass and glass, with just a few stainless fasteners. It's a real monster standing 13.5" Tall by 11.5" diameter. With a full 360-degree clear fresnel lens measuring 10" in diameter x 7" high. As found, it is a Stern Light with a 180-degree scope. However, you remove the three small stainless bolts that hold on the brass shroud, and the fixture becomes an Anchor Light or Mast Head Light with 360-degrees illumination. I went ahead and did it for the photo-shoot, and it takes about five minutes each way. This Lamp was professionally converted to 120vac household use sometime back in the late 1950's-early 60's. Judging from the vintage Leviton 3-position ... morein-line thumb switch, which somehow acts as a dimmer on all incandescent light bulbs-you get a"Low" and a"High" setting on just any old-style bulb! For the photo shoot, I used a 25-watt candelabra bulb. and you can see the difference in the"Low" position, and the"High" position.The Lamp fixture is a'standard base socket' and is a commercial grade Leviton Ceramic Fixture. I am not sure what is inside the little thumb-wheel switch that makes it act like a dimmer, but I don't think you would ever want to use those fluorescent bulbs or LED bulbs without further study! This Light is a hefty little guy. Weighing in a 17lbs. It is stamped on the MFR plate as Type#1460, and is serial numbered R670523, both stamped into the brass housing AND engraved into the Glass Fresnel Lens itself! It's in really excellent condition for its age, and the only negatives I can find are: MISSING two small bolts on top, and NO gasket on the"Lid" which should both be addressed before out-door or on-deck use! Vintage Copper Ship lantern Original NOT reproduction. This was on a ship! Stern Co 1974 Double light front which is rare Has a few dents- nothing major. One on the top one on the back side. Please see pictures. Has set up for 2 light bulbs- I have always used as a display on my kitchen floor in the corner. I'm assuming it needs to be re- wired if you want to use as a light. Beautiful large Bow/ Stern lantern- light. 11.5" long4 1/4" wide Height 3 3/4" Stamped inside it says AC 9000-1 Pat Pend also a watch dial with the numbers 12- 3- 6 and 9 highlighted! It weigh over 4 pounds and it is very solid. The chrome is in very good condition and I would not re chrome at this point. Some very light pitting! The lenses are plastic in excellent condition!
