Vintage Brass Kerosene Gimbal Ships Lamp Here is a great older brass lantern I found during my recent travels in northern Michigan. This beautiful lamp has a gimbal mount and a weighted base. It is self-leveling during movement over water. It appears that it has been polished but it still has a nice warm patina. The glass chimney is very nice with just a small"blob" on the upper rim. There is no wick but the adjuster works smoothly. The base is heavily weighted for stability when sitting on a table. This is a great find. This is an authentic vintage ships binnacle compass with built in oil or gas lamp. But this one has been converted to an electric table lamp. The little side cubby that would originally hold the oil now holds a small bulb and of course, another bulb at the top. Mounted on a nice wooden base, felted bottom. The compass/dial has been set so it does not move. I left the wonderful patina, but it could be cleaned and shined. I find no dings or dents. Estate Find. This very large maritime lantern converted to a lamp. In full working order. Use light in lantern or light on top or both. Not sure of the metal. This lantern is mounted on a solid wood base and comes with original paper shade that is covered with a nautical collage theme. Think it was wall paper glued to shade. Does need some regluing. Shade is 15" x 15"Lantern has clear glass encased in thick metal wire. Has on off switch on top. Lantern is approx. 16" with base not including dowel that holds light bulb and shade. This is a super cool Brass Lamp with Corning lenses. This lamp works nicely and runs on 12 volt Bulb not included. The lenses are in overall good shape but the red lenses has a small ship not a crack but a chip of glass missing. I will point to imperfection in the picture. The light is approximately 7.5" tall x 5 inches wide. This is wired with lamp cord but is easily changed. The lenses are made from Corning. Antique Ships Brass Lamp Blue Glass
This item is an antique ship's lamp with blue glass. It is very heavy brass or bronze. Eight inches tall, six in diameter, this has not been converted to 110Va.c. I see no maker's mark, only the numbers 9-S-4461-L. The glass has two chips in it, one 1/4" and the other 1 inch. Hi. Up for sale is a vintage brass ship light that has been converted to a lamp. It looks great but has some wear and issues. It has some rust around the seams. There are a couple small chips in the glass. The glass globe is upside down. There is a screw missing off the back. There is no lamp shade. The lamp shade holder is loose. The dimensions(without the lamp extension) are about 16" to the top of the handle. It is about 10.5" deep and 10.5" wide.

Tung Woo Trawling Oil Ships Lamp Brass and Copper
This beautiful Tung Woo Trawling Oil Ships Lamp Brass and Copper is very nice and has NO damage. Glass is perfect. The Red. Bluish Green and Clear glass is very nice. There are no dents, dings or other signs of heavy wear/use. There is some salt damage however slight and there is residue from Brasso. Lamp has been professionaly mounted on a piece of 3/4" oiled mahogany wood with a routed edge. The lamp mounts are screwed to the mahogany using brass and copper fasteners and the hanging wire is 1/8" stainless aircraft cable with nicopressed eyes on the ends and screwed to the mahogany using brass eye screws. The lamp in no way has been changed to accomodate it's mount. The mahogany is 6 1/2" wide and 10" tall. The lamp is 7 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide including mounting rings. I think no oil has ever been put ... morein the lamp and the wick is unlit. Lamp comes from the home with no kids. No pets and no smokers. The work on this is museum quality. Antique ships lantern lamp copper brass large look
This is a Large(approx. 17 1/2ins tall and approx 12ins wide) heavy( approx. 15lbs) vintage ships lantern. Which has a thick glass Fresno. It is metal which looks like brass and copper( see pics) and has a wooden base. It is electrified and has a place for a small bulb inside. I tested it with a working bulb but it did not light I imagine that it is either the switch or the wiring so it will need fixing The lamp came from an Estate sale and whilst I was not able to get a history on it I was told by the agents that it had been in the family for a long time. As you can see it has not been polished and is a little dusty( as were all the items at the sale! The glass is very thick and appears to be old with imperfections and bubbles. I found one minute flea bit chip in one of the ridges, I tried to show it on the photos but it can more be felt ... morethat seen. It is being sold as- found.
