Up for auction is this vintage ship's spotlight that was off a Maine Chris Craft. The spotlight was made by the Portable Spotlight Company. Inc. of New York and is named the"Half-Mile-Ray" as inscribed on the brass plaque on top of the spotlight. The 24" high chrome spotlight assembly was installed on the bow of the Chris Craft and has a 8" diameter lamp that when mounted to the deck stands 15" above the deck. The spotlight adjusts 360 degrees and up and down 90 degrees when electrically wired to the existing wiring.The chrome has pitting from years of use in the ocean off Portland, ME but still is in very good condition and appears to be complete with no light bulb.
