This light measures just over 9 inches tall and is about 7 inches wide. The base has four mount legs. All new USA wiring and bulb socket that is marked UL has been installed. Wiring and bulb holder is rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts. The bulb socket takes a normal house bulb of 100 watts or less. To access the bulb, you spin off the top cover. The top cover is cracked and missing some of the thread ring(see photos) This light remains water tight even with the issues with the lid. The 360 degree Fresnel lens is in very good condition. Old Vintage Brass Cargo Ship Boat Nautical Maritime Oil Wedge Lantern Light
Up for sale is a beautiful old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. This is a really cool old lantern. And it was very well made. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. The lantern is very dusty& dirty, and could use a good cleaning, but structurally it appears to be fine, with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable lantern!

1950's Brass and Copper Cargo Ship Deck Light Wired For Home Use
This is a deck light reclaimed from a Cargo Ship circa 1940-1959. It is made from solid brass and copper. It is currently wired to use a standard home bulb. These look great as hanging lamps. You could also attach it to a stand and use it as a floor lamp. It would have to be a heavy stand. As this light weighs about 20 pounds. I recently saw a pair of these exact lamps listed for sale in an antique store for $2600. This style, with the rolled copper is pretty rare. You will see quite a few similar lights with a smooth copper reflector. But, this particular style is harder to come by.

Vintage Brass Wilcox Crittenden Conn Ship Boat Light Lantern Lamp Red & Green
I do not know how old this lantern is. I think that it is old enough to be considered vintage or possibly antique. The oval plate on the back of it reads. Wilcox, Crittenden& Co. Inc. Middletown, Conn. U.S.A. It appears to be brass. Most of the photos make the metal look redder than it actually is. The photos where the metal looks like it has a very slight greenish tint are closer to representing the actual color. I see where the close-up of the hole where the burner goes makes the edges look like maybe the metal is not brass. In real life. That is not the case. The edges look like brass. A magnet will not stick to any of the lantern and I believe that it is solid brass. I have provided a photo of the bottom being held up to a light to show how it might look when illuminated. Not including the ring at the top. It measures about 9 ½ ... moreinches high. The ring at the top adds about 1 3/4 inches. It weighs about 2 pounds 3.5 ounces. The divider is removable. The condition is much like you see it in the photos. The burner is missing. Otherwise. It is generally in excellent condition. The tarnish is a little uneven and there is a little green oxidation on the back that you can see in a photo. I have provided a close-up of a bend in the edge of the hole for the burner. I do not know if it should be there or not. A close-up shows a small shallow depression just below the seam on the chimney. I do not know if it was made that way or not. Otherwise, are no dents in the metal or breaks or cracks in the glass. The inside and a little of the outside of the glass could use some cleaning. It looks like there is some soot on the inside of the top part. There is a little of some kind of dark hard gunk on the bottom that you can see in the photo of the bottom. Otherwise, it is fine and as shown. My photos should give you a good idea of its general condition. I guarantee this lantern to be as described and represented by my photos. Up for bid is a pair of very large Navy Ship Bow Lights. Sale includes both port and starboard lights. These painted brass with real glass lenses. They stand over 14" tall. I have stripped the old military paint to expose the brass. I have not cleaned or polished them otherwise. They have a great natural patina. This is a very unique Maritime item. It's brass light with 5 sided glass. They had filaments of green and red. Port and Starboard are on the light. As you can see the colors had brittle. From the top of the wall mount to the bottom of the cage they measure about 8 inches tall. When mounted to the wall they will extend out from the wall by 5 1/2 inches. The wall mount measures 3 inches wide and has three mount holes. The back side of the wall mount originally had a raised edge around the neck opening. And we have machined the back side surface smooth for better installation. We have machined the back side of the wall mount flat. It The glass globes ... moreare free of any cracks. The lights have been totally rewired with all new UL-Listed parts rated for any voltage of 250 volts or less. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 45 watts or less. The cage and glass globe unscrew as one piece on this light. screws on and off to access the bulb. These lights may require just a little more polish work here and there. But as you can see from the photos, we have knocked out the hard part of the polishing work! While these lights can be used for interior or exterior projects, I strongly recommend only using for interior projects, as the glass globes are rather thin on these lights. This is the real deal. This is a great Perkins"PERKO" Marine lantern or bow light. The lantern is about 18" tall counting the handle. The lens is heavy red glass and can be seen from all sides(360 degrees) The lantern works off of oil or kerosene. The reservoir and wick are in tack and working. The Perkins metal tag is still in place(too dark to get into photo) There are some small nicks and I can see what looks like brass under the black paint. I believe the paint is original to the lantern. The lantern is heavy. Over 7 pounds. Lanterns like this were used on large ships as a warning light or bow light. Pair Vintage Brass Cargo Ship Boat Nautical Maritime Oil Wedge Lantern Light
Up for sale is a beautiful pair of old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. These are really fine old lanterns. And very well made. The rivets are copper. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" with the handle up they measure 22 1/2" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. They are in excellent condition with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable pair of lanterns!

HUGE ANTIQUE NAUTICAL SHIP ANCHOR LANTERN LIGHT MARITIME LAMP 25" TALL 18LBS
Up for auction is AN ORIGINAL VERY OLD vintage solid galvanized metal nautical Ship Anchor Lantern. The classic anchor lamp used on sailing ships for hundreds of years. The anchor lamp is machined in pure heavy-gauge steel sheet. The Fresnel style lens is made to magnify the oil lamp light to be visible for 20 nautical miles. The tops to the main body and the vent top are both hinged. Thus the top swings open for access and ease of cleaning. This all metal(except the frilled vent top, which is galvanized copper) is galvanized and shows its age. THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION. The anchor lamp is named for its use. A 360o white light is required to be displayed at the highest point( the tallest mast) on all vessels at anchor or under way at night. These oil burning lanterns were made to be lit and hoisted to the top of the mast with one rope tied ... moreto the handle and 2 ropes through the brass guides to keep it from swaying as the ship rolled with the sea. For auction is an old oil lamp. Very unusual one, I think. I have not been able to figure out too much about it. It has some age though. The bottom is weighted, which I was thinking might indicate that it was to be used on a boat or ship. The only marking is on the knob and it has an R and V on each side of a anchor. I have had this a few years in my basement bar. But changing themes and it is time to let it go. I am not sure it is functional, but the way it is made I would expect that it might be. Antique ship nautical boat electric lamp light. Brass bronze coppper? Oakford
Up for auction to U.S. customers only is an old ship's light with Fresnel glass(no chips or cracks to glass) It stands 15 inches tall and the wire cage is 8 inches across. I am not sure if the primary metal is brass. Copper or bronze- or a combination-but a magnet doesn't stick to it. It is very heavy. It is made by Oakford. There is a light bulb socket inside but it probably isn't original and, without the cord plug, I can't test it. If it was originally electric powered, then the wire outlet on the side looks like it held a much larger power cord. The lid screws onto the top for access to the inside. I'm not sure how it was used on board the vessel- some other listings refer to it as a mast light, others describe it for use on dock pilings, others say it lit the passageways on the ship. If anyone knows for sure, let ... moreme know and I'll add it to the listing. Overall it seems in very good condition with a few relatively minor scratches to the lower finish and, of course, the green discoloration which some people call patina and want it left on the piece so I didn't try to clean up that section(new owner can do that) I don't know anything else about this item so please ask questions.
