Antique Vtg Rare Perko Nautical Marine Lantern Port Starboard Combination This cool old Perko nautical lantern is a hard to find model. According to my search for a similar one. The lantern has both port& starboard lenses, with a dividing plate between the ribbed red& deep aqua green glass. The lantern has old silver paint with typical surface age. The interior lamp is brass& shows surface greening. The wick advances. One of the two side mounting brackets on the interior lamp is missing. The lantern displays very nicely& the glass on the lantern is free of any chips or cracks. No dents. It measures 11" high to the top of the holding ring by 4.5" wide and 7" deep. Pair Large Solid Brass Marine Nautical Signal Lights Boat Lanterns Lamp
These are a great pair of Marine Nautical Lights. They are solid brass with heavy ribbed glass shades. They have been rewired and are in working condition. One of the lights has its original red insert so it can be used as a signal light. The 1st picture shows the lights with the red insert in one and a green light bulb in the second one if you wanted to use these that way. Or you can take out the red insert and have both lights clear as in the 2nd picture. Or put in any color bulb you choose. The lights are very heavy. The one with the insert is about 15 lbs and the other 13.5 lbs. These lanterns have handles that you can use to hang them or just for carrying. One of the lanterns has a little more copper tone to it then the other one and has 3 little feet to attach to a deck. The tops can be removed or slid to the side with the screws on ... morethe top to replace the lightbulbs. The globes are marked with a makers name. One of the shades has 2 small internal fissures at the bottom of the globe but they don't go all the way through the glass. There are a few dings and small indentations here and there typical of their age. See pictures) Other than that. They are in good condition and could use some cleaning. Vtg PERKO SHIPS NAUTICAL BOAT LANTERN LIGHT VERY HEAVY BRASS & THICK GLASS
This is a very thick brass nautical light made by Perko. The red glass is original& also very thick. It was rewired for household current& works. The wire is very short& bared at the end& has a cut in it. So it probably should be replaced. It stands 9 1/2" tall. It has two open threaded fittings(one on bottom& one on back) It also has a smaller hole that the new wiring was ran through. I'm not sure if it was on a ship or maybe even a bridge. It is heavy duty, I put it on a bathroom scale& it registered 10 pounds. The glass is still in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It was found in an old estate in northern Michigan right on Lake Huron, so it probably has some history. Unfortunately I do not know the history of it. There is some staining the glass FRESNEL IS 8 INCHES ACROSS CLEAR GLASS AND 7 INCHES TALL AND IS MARKED CORNING. There is a crack in the FRESNEL photo 5 and some chips in the glass from years of use. Vintage Electric Maritime Boat Ship Light Red Nautical Glass Lens Brass Works
This is a Vintage Nautical Ship Maritime Red Lens Electric Boat Lamp It does work. The red paint is chipping. The Brass housing for the lamp is not damaged. It is about 9 inches tall and is 5.25 inches across at the bottom. There is no damage to the cord. The bolt top(nut) to a post is missing. It looks like a post has been replaced. The top metal portion is bent in a couple of places. The light works great. All of this add to the character and the patina. Please see the pictures for the full description. Measures 36 1/2 inches in height, 17 inches wide, 11 inches deep and made out of 2 inch planking. The light socket and shaft will be taken off for shipping purposes. Cord is a bit frayed, still works, but perhaps a new one could be put on. The night light did work, and then went off. No lamp shade or bulb with it. The two glass window panes are intact and there is a panel that you open to access the wick of the lamp. The wick does move up and down ... moresmoothly and you remove the top to access the oil reservoir. There are no dents in the brass or damage just normal wear as seen in photos. You simply mount the round brass circle to the wall and slip the oil lantern into it. The lantern appears to be made of mostly brass with the exception of the reflector piece. Glass and the heat distributor in the top. There is no makers mark on the piece that I can ascertain. I think it was a Steampunk or Perko. How's about you expert's out there. What are your thoughts? Your identity will be kept anonymous. Thanks. The makers mark was probably on the bottom of the burner that is no longer with the lantern. A couple of the solder joints for the cage across the glass are no longer in place. The glass in the lantern looks good. No blistering or cracks and appears wavy at the right angle. Check out the solid brass handle on this lantern. ... moreNo simple cheap wire handle on this one! The metal reflector plate is still in the lantern. Some corrosion to its' finish in places. Looks like the lantern was dropped at one time and the top bracket was bent in. Vintage Cast Brass Ship's Nautical Passageway Light - Rewired & Polished #3

You are bidding on the vintage cast brass Ship's nautical passageway ceiling light shown in the above photos. This light measure about 10 inches tall and about 4 inches wide. The base has three mount holes that are about 2 1/2 inches off the center of the light. The globe is glass and in good condition. The light weighs almost 5 pounds. You can access the bulb area by unscrewing the cage and then unscrewing the glass globe. The glass is undamaged. But could use some additional cleaning. The cage and the glass globe screw on and off with little effort. This light has been totally rewired with all new UL-Listed parts rated for any voltage of 250 ... morevolts or less. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less. The new wires exit from the new hole we drilled on the bottom of the light, and the original conduit holes have been plugged with copper caps. These lights were recovered from one of our many salvage operations. These lights will have some minor wear that may include bending to the cage ribs. While we have removed most of the original paint and polished the light, some buyer may want to do additional polishing work. This light can be used inside or outside. It will never rust! 2 Reclaimed Original Brass Nautical Passageway Lights With Deflector Covers C1
Google the name"big ship salvage" and you will learn more about who we are! You are bidding on the two reclaimed brass nautical lights shown in the above photos. We started out with a common original cast ship's brass passageway light and transformed it into this outstanding ceiling light. The first step was to soda blast several layers of paid from the original light. We then added the 8 inch wide stamped brass deflector cover with rolled edges. The original side entry conduit holes on the top housing were plugged with a threaded brass caps and a new exit hole for the wiring was drilled in the center of the top housing. We have installed a new bulb holder and wiring that was supplied by Westinghouse Electric. All of the new electrical parts are UL-Listed. And rated for any power source under 250 volts. The bulb holder takes ... morea normal screw in house bulb. We recommend using a bulb size of 60 watts or less in this light design. The new wiring exits the top of the light so all the wiring will be hidden once the light is mounted to the ceiling. The light has two mount legs with the two mount holes measuring 3 1/2 inches on center of each other. To access the bulb, the brass cage and glass globe spin on and off as one piece. The glass is undamaged. When mounted to the ceiling, this light will extend down about 6 1/2 inches. Each light weighs about 3 1/2 pounds. This is a great 1950's reclaimed vintage nautical light that can give your project a one of a kind nautical look. It weighs a little over 12 pounds. I'm not sure if it's copper or brass. It's also very LARGE. It measures about 13 1/2" tall, 13 3/4" wide and is approximately 9 1/2" deep from each corner to the back. It was a originally a kerosene or oil ship's lantern. It's an amazing light! It's in excellent working condition, it's been newly re-wired& has an antique switch in the front(converted to electric) The switch is turned to right each time you want to turn it off or no. It has a removable red port glass(see photos of it turned on, with and without the red glass) The clear glass has a small 1/2" chip in one of the ... moreribbed sections; it's a very heavy thick glass so this does not compromise anything. Near the top of the lamp there's an emblem that has the numbers"3883" There is also some etching on both the clear and red glass. I wonder if this belonged to a military ship. As most items on those ships were marked with serial#s etc. The writing on each glass piece says"DHJE 3883, No. 654, E.31.5.61" It's not very noticable and you can't see it unless you really look; it's not seen when the light is on. Condition wise.it's vintage! There are a few dings& dents. Some areas of wear etc.but considering it was a ship light, it's going to have a weathered old look, which I personally prefer.
