This is a beautifully clean and fully functional"ANCHOR" ships lantern. It is quite large and very striking. Measures a whopping 26.5" from bottom handle to top handle. And approximately 11" in width on the bottom. The length of the lantern body is 20" and the lantern weighs approximately 12.75 lbs. This lantern is LARGE! The lantern pictured on the right is the average size brass lantern you typically see listed on ebay and is used in the photo, so you can see the difference in size It is not included in this sale, and is sold separately. The kerosene portion of the lamp was removed, and the lantern has been converted to electric and comes with a two prong electrical cord with a switch. Vintage tug boat light, channel marker buoy light, red warning light lens, red beacon light This large lens measures approximately 6" high and 5.75" overall width from outer edge of lens. Mounting rim edge measures 5.25" dia. Appears to be marked S-4072-L. No other maker name appears that I can see. The only mark is a small chip found on an edge near the bottom. And a repair in the rear as it has a crack and the rear of the boat is slightly lifting on top, but does not take away from the piece. Rigging is in good shape. Looks to have been wired at one time, as the lights on the roof are extremely detailed with little light bulbs. Antique& Vintage Solid Brass Gimbaled Ship Nautical Candle Holders Wall Sconces. I write Antique& Vintage as 1 looks to be a copy of the original small differences can be seen in pics 2& 3. The older piece has very heavy obvious use wear throughout metal is smooth no ridges left. Both have wear are dirty and tarnished throughout. Both weigh 1 pound 14 ounces each so a good copy I would say. Could also be 2nd piece was handled less but my though its a copy. The bases are exact underneath so maybe just a replaced ball and stem holder.

Lantern has maker marks of"S.Co.Ltd. 1941" Im not sure if this is a ship lantern, railway lantern or what- I dont know much about these. Lantern is in great condition and all pieces seem to be there. Lantern measures 20" tall with handle extended up. The wick key is attached to side and wick turn knob works good. No broken glass on paynes and side door works good. This brass hanging bulkhead ship's lantern is a rare example of the workmanship and quality of Wm. Harvie& Co. Ltd. Birmingham, England, one of the largest and finest nautical lighting manufacturers at the turn of the 20th century. Dating to around 1900, the lantern has a detachable kerosene burner and hand-blown font. Except for the wick, everything on the lantern is original. Measuring 17 inches tall. Nice Old Brass Nautical Ship Lamp with Red Clear & Green Glasses NO RESERVE
Measures approx. 9-1/2" high to top of cap and 11-3/4" to top of handle. Made entirely of brass with glass lenses. The only marking or name that I could find anywhere is"THE MILLER CO. U.S.A. on the wick adjustment knob. And one side of the wick cover is signed"1925. This lantern apparently was electrified at one time, as there is a small hole neatly punched through the backside near the base. Otherwise it is complete and needs only light cleaning and polishing. A good old one, probably 1920-1940 vintage. I will combine shipping whenever possible, and normally will ship worldwide within one day of receiving payment. R.I. residents must add 7% sales tax. This is a pair of old nautical bow lights.The lenses are marked inside Kilborn Sauer.There is one with a red glass lense and one with a green glass lense.They are in very good physical condition they appear unsed.The housings are made of sheet metal with a galvinized finish.It has screws to connect the sections of the housing together.The lenses are thick glass with ribs.The top of the housing has a semi rounded design.The bottom has the threaded covers that holds the light socket.The cover for the light socket unscrews to take the socket out.The housings are about 4 3/8" high.The sides are about 2 3/4" long and the lenses measure about 4 3/4" long around the curve.The insulation on the wire is cracking from age and will need replacement.The lenses age in great overall condition with a few tiny nicks on the ribs at the ends. ... moreSHIPPING IN THE U.S.A. Antique Brass Nautical Ship's Lantern with Vintage Patina
Lamps are. For the most part, boring creatures. They are quite useful for reassuring yourself that there are, in fact, no murderous clowns hidden in your guest room, but when it comes to design, your standard, run of the mill lamp can be a bit yawn-inducing. Luckily, there are enterprising people out there that like to make lamps out of awesome things, hence how this Ship's Lamp was born. I am unsure whether this was once oil-burning, but regardless, electric is where it's at right now, due to the fact that we have it, however, once the zombie apocalypse happens, this lovely artifact will be rendered useless. Just plug this bad boy in to cast a warm glow across your room, and pretend that you are actually on a sailboat, or if you are lucky enough to OWN a boat, hey, why not stick it in there. Nautical blue glass and red glass lamp lenses
This auction consists of the two glass dome shaped lenses. Seen in the pictures. These where located in a box with other nautical items, and as the last picture shows the LIGHT HOUSING{ not a part of this auction} is made by the same company as the glass lens. The identification on the red rim is S1085- 2R- and the blue has the word GRIMES B 5818. The* is not easily readable but something is there just the same. They measure to be 7 inches in length and have two holes for attaching to the light housing. Antique Brass / Glass Marine Oil Lantern Case- Nice Nautical Decor
A nice old brass and glass oil lantern with a brass cage over glass design. This originally held a small brass oil lamp which I do not have. The lantern has all four sides. The side that opens does not have the original hinge. When at rest on a table the door stays shut just fine. The brass edge that held the hinge pin slips inside and. When you close the hasp, the door stays in place. You may want to put a hinge on it to get it to swing open like it is supposed to. Either way, perfectly serviceable as is. We use it outdoors with an outdoor candle and it has a nice nautical look. It has a wood and brass handle for carrying. Overall in good condition but could use a good polishing and a cleaning. The glass is all good but one small corner has some loss on the inside(see close up photo) Obviously there are some minor dings and bends in the ... morebrass. Vintage Floodlight Westinghouse Nautical, Navy, Maritime, Ship light INDUSTRIAL
For your consideration is a very old Westinghouse Electronic MFG. Co. Floodlight. It is very heavy. It's on a stand and the light swivels up and down. A metal plate on the top front says that the watts are 200 and the Style is 1217420. There is a W on the top metal and also in the middle of the lens. I found one like this on Google and it is described as Vintage Nautical. Maritime Floodlight, Naval, Ship Light from around the 1940's. I know nothing about the history of the floodlight but would like to know more about it if anyone can tell me more. The cord is old and I did not test it. This item is large and heavy. I'm guessing it is cast iron and aluminum but not sure of the material. The round metal part is aprox. 13 1/2" x 14" part around the glass lens) The overall height from the floor to the top of the light is ... moreaprox. 21 1/2" tall. It is aprox. 19" across from handle to handle. A very nice fellow Ebayer from the West Coast who collects these old lights told me some information on this light. He said it was probably Navy since it is gray or could have been an industrial light and that it was from the 1940's. It is in wonderful structural condition but needs cleaning. The back shows black that comes off when I dabbed at it. This is probably a pretty rare item and would make a good addition to any Nautical collection. Sale fell through on last listing of this item. SOLID BRASS PORT & STARBOARD WALL MOUNT NAUTICAL LIGHTS WITH DEFLECTOR COVERS

You are bidding on the matched pair of solid cast brass nautical lights with true red and green glass globes shown in the above photos. From the top of the wall mount to the bottom of the cage. Each light measures 11 inches tall. The brass rain cap cover that we added measures 8 inches wide and now has a rolled outside edge. The two wall mount lugs on the backside of the brass junction box are 5 inches on center of each other. When mounted to the wall, this light will extend out from the wall by 10 inches. Each light in this set weighs over 8 pounds, and is 100% cast brass. You can use this light inside or outside, it will never rust! We have installed a new Westinghouse UL-Listed bulb fixture that is rated for up to 250 volts. The new wiring leads terminate ... moreinside the brass junction box. This light takes a normal screw in house bulb of 75 watts or less. To access the bulb, you unscrew the brass cage and then unscrew the glass globe. We also stock replacement glass globes for these lights, so no need to worry about broken globes down the road. This light has some original parts and some recast parts made from other broken lights. Need your lights with clear globes. Just tell us, and we will change the red and green glass globes to clear glass before we ship your order. These lights make great dock lights. Boat house lights, front door lights, and they have many interior lighting uses! We take great pride in this light design. We have made new rubber gasket to fit above the rain cap deflector cover and a second new rubber gasket has been added to the inside housing where the globe screws in.
