But thanks to the picture on the box, I know that this was never an oil lamp. This was an actual electric lamp that was manufactured and sold by Perko, and it was intended to be used inside the home. It is hard to read, but it looks like 1972 is the postmark date on the box. I have had this Perko hanging electric lamp for over a year now. And in that time, I haven't been able to find out anything about it. I haven't even been able to find a picture of another one online. If it weren't for the original shipping box, I wouldn't know anything about it at all. This lamp has some minor straches. But no dings or dents that I can see. The ... moreglass appears to be crack and chip free. I'm not sure if the lamp currently works, but it would be best to have it serviced and/or re-wired regardless. It is about 21" long(not including the length of the chain) weights around 10-12 lbs and it is made of solid brass. The patina is natural; not fake.

Antique Kerosene Lantern Clear Globe Embury Oil Lamp #210 Supreme Warsaw NY
Up for auction is this rusty but still cool antique Supreme#210 lamp by the Embury Manufacturing Company of Warsaw. New York. Marked on the base as shown. Lamp measures 13 inches tall without the handle and is 6 inches across at the base. As you can see from the pictures the metal portions of this lamp are well and truly rusted. However. I could find no holes or weak areas and the metal frame and base are still solid. The lamp still has a cloth wick but the adjustment knob is rusted into position. I did not attempt to fix it. The cap for the tank is also rusted but it does still unscrew and then screw back in securely. There is no gas or oil in the tank. Metal hand is secure and swings smoothly. These were hanging on the inside of a house from probably the 80's or 90's. Made in Taiwan. Approximately 10" tall. And 3 1/2" across the base. I don't think these have ever been polished. The top of them has more rust or dullness than the rest of it. One is numbered 20535 and the other is 20669. Each weighs about 4 pounds with the gimbal.
