There is some patina and light scratches on cast bronze brass housing-looking down into center of lens glass. Part of the electrical cord remains inside- This piece sits on a wood blog base with the cord that enters the bottom of lantern and runs thru the center of wood block base that measures 9" x 9 1/2" This Fresnel lantern light overall height is 7 1/2" sitting on wood block and weighs more than 13 lbs. This red glass lantern has Fresnel lens all-round lantern with protective brass bars and bronze screw on top. Good vintage condition; no dents in the brass and only a couple small sliver chips on a couple of louvers of red fresnel glass; The brass lid is a bit tight for me to screw on and off using a wrench. This piece was made to use as a table light- with outlet cord and plug that looks older. Plugs in fine and needs a bulb- but I could not open top with bolts- my hands were not strong enough to turn wrench. It likely needs a small bulb and would work fine. Tried to scratch through the coating and it does NOT seem to be bronze. Yes. patina and silver paint of the past. 13" Bottom flange to the top. 4"5/8" Dia across cap not including the spots of the bolts. 9-S-4326-L Number on lid. Looks to be made of aluminum. Added 4 pictures of the lens. For you to check out. Clear lens looks to be in really good condition. No cracks that we can see. Red lens has a crack in it and no chips just the crack. Picture of it added. Did not unbolt it. Each lens may be about 4"1/4" to 4"3/8" Dia. And about 4"3/16" tall. That is a close estimate of size. Again we did not take it apart. Rare Antique Perko Tri Brass Color Navigation Light Lantern Lamp w/Dietz Burner

This auction is for a rare and unique maritime lantern made by Perko with its original Dietz burner. It measures 8-1/2 inches tall. Is 5 inches wide across the back, 3 inches wide across the front, and is 4-3/8 inches deep. It has a flat back so that it can be mounted on a wall. It has one flaw, the latch for the door in back is broken. It is otherwise in excellent condition with no significant cracks, dents or breaks. The tri-colored original bullet lens glass is still in excellent condition. This is the one you want to complete your collection, so don't let this rare lantern get away! Vintage Bronze Ship's Navigation Light , needs lights
Heavy bronze casing for ship's light. No wiring. Or lens is with this. From the front this measures 5" high where the lens would fit. 6" wide. Apprx 8-1/4" from the bottom of the front to the back. This has a number embossed on the inner case. 9737. There is a symbol above it in the shape of a shield but I am unable to see the symbol inside the shield. The weight is apprx 7 pounds. Where the 3 screw holes are seen on the inside. 1 is opened but the other 2 look like they have a screw that possibly was cut off? see the last picture) Shows some wear& needs a polishing.

Vintage PERKO Nautical Navigation Light w/ selector. Displays red. Green or white lamps. Operational. 7 1/4" dia. and 5 1/2" h. Glass dome is 2 7/8" dia. and 3" h.approx. Requires(2) D batteries. Not included. For use on a small boat. Made of tin(I believe) it appears similar to a film canister. The metal body has mostly minor surface rust with a small hole on the underside. The aged, dark patina is a little rough. There is an"on-off" toggle switch located on the side. The glass dome reads"PERKO" and is clear, clean and in good shape, except for two very small, almost un-noticeable chips close together on the edge where it screws onto the base. The wired controller has three buttons, labeled Red, Green and White for selecting the lights individually, or all of the three other lamps at once, for maximum ... morebrightness. One lamp is always lit. The four bulbs appear to be original and have lost some of their colored tinting. Only one of the four sockets does not seem to work. Also, I have improvised a small flat piece of metal where the battery holder has corroded to provide a completed circuit so that the lamps will light up.

Twnetieth Century MFG. Co. Oil Headlamp/Navigation light
Oil Headlight/Navigatrion Lamp manufactured by: 20th Century Mfg. Co. US Patent June 4, 1895. This is an oil lamp with a clear lens headlight, and a red& green(port& starboard) navigation side lights. This lamp is from the estate of a woodworker who restored old boats. Not sure of it's exact age, but the bottom lists several patent dates and locations.see last photo) The lamp itself has been cleaned and is in excellent condition, withstanding minor surfaces scatches on the plated surface, which is either silver or nickle plate. All glass, the clear lens and two side lens' are clean and in excellent condition. The wick is in good condition, and the wick assembly works freely to extend and retract the wick. The clear lens hinge pivots to expose the wick, and works freely as does the closure latch. There are some minor soot deposits ... morearound the base of the top vent. Sitting this in front of a window it looks like the light is turned on- This piece is Very heavy with the brass construction- embossed 9-S-4461-L on top. There is some patina and light scratches on cast bronze brass housing-looking down into center of lens glass. Part of the electrical cord remains inside- This piece sits on a wood blog base with the cord that enters the bottom of lantern and runs thru the center of wood block base that measures 9" x 9 1/2" This Fresnel lantern light overall height is 7 1/2" sitting on wood block and weighs more than 13 lbs. This red glass lantern has Fresnel lens all-round lantern with protective brass bars and bronze screw on top. The only markings on it are on the oil lamp adjuster. ABCO 1) The chimney has a swivel top to allow access to the lamp globe. OLD NAVIGATION LANTERN LIGHT FIXTURE PITTSBURGH CHARLEROI MONESSEN PA.
Old navigation light in as found condition. I was told that this navigation light was mounted on a brick piling on the river by the Charleroi Monessen bridge. It is about 16 inches tall by about 13 inches wide. It is made of heavy metal with what I believe is a plastic lens with a lot of old paint on it. It weighs about 14 pounds. The majority of the items I sell are used and have had previous owners. They are not new and most will show normal signs of wear or use. black anodized metal case. has a bulb in it, not sure what voltage, does seem to have a 120v base for bulb I do have a second one which I have out side hanging for 20 years. And it shows very little weathering glass is orange in tinting

Up for auction is a rare Vintage Copper& Brass Ships Navigation Light. Has a nice patina if you like that or should clean up nicely. This is electric and is supplied with a heavy duty cord. The top handle piece and vertical bars are brass. Along with the front plate, the rest is copper. The plate reads"All Around Green" BT 400" NK 77" The top handle reads"IP 56" On the glass are the words"IMCO R.I.N.A 5/1638-1648 DHI 09/03/76" Etched in the glass is BT13474(I'm thinking this is the ships inventory# Measures 13.5" tall including handle. Base is 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" Nice solid piece, almost 10 pounds. Glass is thick with no chips or cracks. Lights up beautifully. Small dent on one side at the bottom. This light measures just over 9 inches tall and is about 7 inches wide. The base has four mount legs. All new USA wiring and bulb socket that is marked UL has been installed. Wiring and bulb holder is rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts. The bulb socket takes a normal house bulb of 100 watts or less. To access the bulb, you spin off the top cover. Lantern Measures 13 inches tall by 7 inches wide(approx) I believe it is Brass but it has been painted with nautical paint. There are paint specs on the glass, but it may be possible to clean them off. Condition– Good Cosmetic Condition for a Vintage Used Lantern- Paint spots as referred to above. The front bracket missing a screw and the glass is in place with some type of caulking on the bracket. The metal brass/bronze has a nice bright polished shine. Very nice old Nautical light.
