Vintage Viking Kerosene anchor light. Not sure of the age but not antique. I see other Viking brand lanterns listed as true antiques but I don't believe they are or that this one is. Everything works. It stands 15" tall. 6 1/2" deep and 6 1/2" wide. The glass is all in good condition. No dents, breaks or flaws that I can see. The material seems to be all brass except the rolled edges and corners are brass rolled over a steel rod. This lantern is dirty and needs cleaning but i will leave that up to the purchaser, I am selling as found. This will make a beautiful display or actually use it! Vtg Copper Sealine Sea Line Hanging Ship Nautical Fresnel Type Lens Oil Lantern
This is the classic solid copper anchor lamp used on sailing ships for hundreds of years. The lamp is hand machined in pure heavy-gauge copper with brass trim. Comes with burner and a bit of wick. The Fresnel style lens is made to magnify the oil lamp light to be visible for 20 nautical miles. The Anchor lamp is named for it's use. A 360 o white light is required to be displayed at the highest point(the tallest mast) on all vessels at anchor or under way at night. These oil burning lanterns were made to be lit. Hoisted to the top of the mast with one rope tied to the handle and a 2nd rope tied to the bottom bail to keep it from swaying as the ship rolls with the sea. A very nice lamp. Ready to use. The original brass burner is also in excellent condition with a wick, not sure it is the original. The stamp on the burner clasp reads Bulpitt. A brass reflector wall is behind the burner. The burner looks as though never used and slides out easily through the glass door on the right. There is also a slide on the side of the door that moves to expose an opening without having to open the door. The chimney top opens and the entire top is hinged to flip back allowing access to the chimney. It even still has the solid brass knob on the front lower corner. There are a few small dents consistent with its age. But it does not detract from the overall beauty of this gorgeous piece of British seafaring history. This would make a great piece to add to any maritime nautical collection.

The lantern measures 11"H x 7.5"W and has a small removable oil lantern that enters the lantern through a small hole in the base of the lantern. I left the metal the way I found this piece and only cleaned up the glass globe. I do not see any reason why this lantern would not function properly. vtg R V Anchor brass ship's table lamp nautical maritime oil lantern light HTF
For auction is an old oil lamp. Very unusual one, I think. I have not been able to figure out too much about it. It has some age though. The bottom is weighted, which I was thinking might indicate that it was to be used on a boat or ship. The only marking is on the knob and it has an R and V on each side of a anchor. I have had this a few years in my basement bar. But changing themes and it is time to let it go. I am not sure it is functional, but the way it is made I would expect that it might be. Possibly by Helvic(unmarked, but visually similar to items by this maker and unmistakably of the same vintage) The 9" by 5" by 5" lantern is crafted from a variety of metals. This is a vintage item and shows some light wear consistent with age and use. Including surface patination and a few flecks of paint(probably removable with a fingernail) The base is slightly- almost un-noticeably- warped. The interior shows some rust from steel parts. For your consideration. I offer this vintage Keystoneware Oil Kerosene Nautical Ship Lantern. The only mark I found is Keystoneware stamped on its top. It is 7" accross. And 11.5" tall excuding the wire handle. Cage and lantern are very straight with only a small amount of oxidation, and everthing appears to be in good useable shape. There is a chip on the bottom edge of the globe with pieces on each side of it glued back onto it. Even so A classic that's sure to be a great addition to any collection. Nice pair of old ship lanterns. They look to be brass. I did not clean them up prior to listing them so they are dusty and have cob webs. There are 5 glass panels. Glass is still in good shape. Hurricane style with some wick still left in both. They are rusty and have no markings on them. Compared to others online. These are in quite good shape.
