This lanterns provides fantastic emergency lighting or like their oil wick counterparts. These electric lanterns can provide historic and authentic nautical decor. There is a thick clear glass lens which shows an illuminated arc of 225 degrees. Each contains an interior corrugated silvered brass reflector. The oil burning pot and wick unit that was serviced from the bottom of the lanterns has now been converted into an electric fixture. There is room inside for a full size 40w light bulb. Some the applications that our electric lanterns have been used for include, wall lanterns, outdoor lanterns, ships wheel chandeliers, exterior lighting, ceiling fixtures and end table lamps. They also make perfect patio/deck electric lamps. You can also choose to mount them on your wall or post. Vintage Nautical Barometer Lamp, Ship in Bottle & Starboard Copper Lantern
A rare vintage nautical barometer lamp with a ship in the bottle and an antique copper starboard oil lamp with a blue glass lens. The barometer is a Carrington. Which was made in England, and is in working order. The antique copper starboard oil lamp is a Tung Woo, and is in excellent condition for its age. The 3 way light switch controls both the lamp and lantern, so one can light both lamps or just one of them. The vintage ship in the bottle has a chain attached to the cork, which is anchored to a brass post on the base of the lamp. The base of this lamp is bordered with fisherman's rope, as is the barometer. The wood on this vintage lamp may have some scuff marks from its long journeys, but appears in great condition for its age. The lamp stands 30” in height, 20” in width, and 10” in depth. Large Ship Lantern Lamp Port Red Vintage Nautical Boat Double Curved Glass
Gorgeous Port Light Lantern. Lantern measures approx. 10 inches tall(not counting the pail 3.5" type handle) by 7 inches wide by 6 inches deep. I have sold a half dozen nautical lamps and this is by far the fairest of them all.inside 7 out. It has a beautiful patina. Only one very small dent, no scratching or chips. There are two layers of curved glass.the exterior glass(Barcelona Glass) is clear and a red internal curved piece. Both pieces excellent.no chips or cracks There is an opening. Surrounded by a rubber gasket, going into the lamp. Not sure what it is for, maybe a lead light. I placed a small light in the body to show what this lamp can look like. Could be electrified quite easily with the hole already there. Great looking lamp. Would look great all lit up out on a boat dock. By the pool or on a patio. On the cage is stamped R& S CO/ 2406B and on the base is LOVELL ARLINGTON.N.J. It has the screw on glass dome and an orange colored light bulb.On the end of the cage it has one bar that is seperated as shown and looks a little out of shape like it's been dropped. In it's original condition. The base measures 3.5 in across and the cage measures 4 in. across. Total height is 8.5 in.

Nice pair of vintage Ship lights. Selling as is. Can use a good polishing. Will try to describe as best as I can. Copper lights with bronze hardware/signage. Marked STUURBOORD and BAKBOORD. Thick Red and Blue glass. Inside is a label for DHR( Den Haan Rotterdam) Outside is marked MADE IN HOLLAND. Electrified. Tested and working fine. Not sure if these were oil lamps at one time. The tray holding the light does slide out. The hardware does seem to indicate the lamps are side mounted. Each light is about 2 pounds 5 ounces.

The case is 14 inches tall measuring to the top of the handle.The round portion with the globe is 8 inches in diameter and the base portion is 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches square. This has been wired so the light is in good working order. There is a brass plate on the outside(pictured) it shows Starboard RT 400 NK 77. The original glass lens is starting to turn a very slight amethyst color. The lanterns inside were made by E. MILLER Co. And are marked. Look at the pictures closely. This is exactly the way I found them. I think they would polish up nicely. They measure about 17-1/2" tall(including the bail) and each weighs close to 9 pounds. In excellent condition. And would clean up nicely if you choose to do so. Both show expected wear. And have a few dings. Overall in Very Good Condition.

2 ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP MARINE NAUTICAL LANTERNS ELECTRIC LAMP BIRDCAGE PERKINS
I apologize for the length but I wanted to be thorough. Up for sale are two antique nautical oil lanterns that were converted for electrical use. After some Internet research I found a match for these lanterns. They are not stamped but identically match the Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation models made during 1916 to 1931. These were considered a"standing light" and were used aboard US Naval torpedo boats. Battle ships and destroyers of the WW1 era, according to"Lanterns That Lit Our World" book 2 page 120 by Anthony Hobson. Size is 17.5 inches tall and about 9 pounds each. These may or may not have been used in that capacity but they due seem genuine even thought they are not stamped with a company name. In any case as you can see one is red and the other is green. The coloring does not seem to be original according to ... morethe research but you can decide whether to keep it that way or remove the paint. Both lanterns have colored bulbs that will come with this auction. Condition The paint on the red lantern is about 50% missing. It was difficult to get a good picture that represented how the red lantern looks with the bulb on. But there is a picture taken from inside the glass to show the condition of the paint. The red lantern also has 3 vertical seams and do not appear to be cracks. I believe the glass was replaced when they were converted since the lines are straight and do not appear to be damage related. The red lantern also has two screws in the bottom, see pic, to hold the bulb/lantern housing in place. The green lantern has a dent in the top, see pic. The"hanging hooks" are a bit out of square as seen in the pictures. I have not found any cracks or holes in the brass housing that should not be there. Both lights have pull strings to turn lights on and off without unplugging. Both have old two prong style plugs. The oil lamp bases are original aside from the electrical retrofitting that took place. There is some soldering and repair work on bulb housing but it cant be seen unless yo
