Thank you for stopping ... moreby. We are offering today this large 20" antique Miller Co lantern. Believed to be from 1930's to 1940s rare and very desirable. We have not been able to find another one like it. They are usually flat on the back. Ours is V shaped that fits in a corner with bracket pocket on the left. Its red fresnel glass lens was made by Perko with Mold No.35 on its side. Glass is in good condition with about 3 tiny. Tiny chips on the ribs of the glass that are hardly noticeable. Also has a few tiny paint specks, age& dirt. No cracks though. The lantern has been painted red sometime in its life that’s faded, chipping. It comes with a chain& Original brass Miller Co. burner& hurricane glass that’s attached to bottom cover. The hurricane is in good condition with some tiny chipping along the bottom rim that goes into the burner. Also is soiled. The lantern’s body is in good-fair condition except looks like something heavy was put on its top& it caved in a little to the right. But does not affect the structural integrity, it just adds character! The top still opens fine. This would make a unique& super conversation piece. If only it could talk! This would have been one of a set. One red, one green for the starboard and one deck mounted light for the clear light. Base is 5 1/2" x 10 1/8".

These copper and brass reproduction ships lamps are the ultimate touch for any marine themed room. Office or restaurant. Their functional design and implied marine heritage make them unique and comfortable. The lower lamps can be lit with their red and green lenses for a little extra impact or they can simply be used as reading lamps with the shaded upper lights. The brackets that would have mounted these to upper outside cabin walls in a ship would also allow them to be mounted to home. Office or restaurant walls. The brass casting and formed copper structure are an exact copy of a 19th century ships port and starboard navigation lights that were originally oil fired. I have seen similar lights sell for well over $1.000, but after moving in to smaller quarters, we must part with these and want to do it relatively quickly and simply. This is a very unique Maritime item. It's brass light with 5 sided glass. They had filaments of green and red. Port and Starboard are on the light. As you can see the colors had brittle. I cant find any maker on the light. It is 13" tall and around 25" around from the thickest section 9" Diameter. A great piece to have. Needs a good cleaning and polish. Please see pictures.

Very light weight. On the lanterns"Starboard" and"Port" are etched. Do not know much about these. They are old and say Hong Kong on the bottoms. No other markings. I only came across two other sets identical to these online. That where sold in the past. So they are rare. They have been in storage for a few years so are in very good condition. This is a very nice set of antique Tung Woo ship lanterns. They have some general wear(tarnish/scuffs/scratches) But look very good for their age. They have"Tung Woo Hong Kong" stamped into the front with a flying horse. They are 7" tall, and 5" wide. They both have wicks inside. One wick is black, and one is white(unused? Tung Woo Nautical Lanterns Copper-plated Starboard Port Pair Single-wick Decor Free Shipping This pair of lanterns from the famous Tung Woo maker were designed to illuminate the boats in the river or Hong Kong Harbor. These lamps were originally filled with oil. Lit and placed on each side of the vessel to prevent collisions in the waterways. Each is about nine(9) inches tall, five(5) inches deep. And six(6) inches wide. Each weighs about one pound. The rounded dome-shaped front has colored glass. While the back ends in a triangular corner to aide in directing the light outward. The different color glass in each lantern identifies which side the other boat is approaching-starboard is port wine red. Port is deep blue. That way. This pair aides in the decision making that others have to make to navigate around the owner of the that lantern. ... moreOne can see in the first picture in the gallery that the tops are stovepipe-s haped. And have handles. A widgit on the edge of the top keeps it secure and down; it needs to be released in order to flip open that stovepipe top. The copper patina is stunning on each navigational lantern. Raised letters identifies one as"Starboard" for the right side. And other as"Port" for the left side. They are in excellent condition. As they have been used as part of decor on the family fishing boat. The only blemishes are two small bumps on the Port front, and some drip trails, from oil probably. These marks only add to the authenticity of these beautiful accent pieces. They could be placed on a shelf, hung from the top handle, or mounted as wall sconces from the hook on the back as shown in the second photo. That same photo shows the oil container. Wick holder and reflector that is housed inside each lantern. This inner metal housing is stabilized by a rail. But slides out easily for filling. vintage nautical boat bow light red green torpedo bolt on port starboard U.S.A
This is a vintage bow light that is a bolt on unit and can be removed when not needed. It came in a box of fishing and hunting items. It's made in USA. I can't see a manufacturers name though. It has patent no. 2301714 on both sides. The internals look good. This wasn't stored with a battery in each side. So it's not all corroded or anything. The bulbs look clean and the parts look good, the inner housing have some light rust. The external parts show it's age. It could be cleaned up. But, I don't like to clean and shine old items, I would rather sell them as they come, as they look, and let the buyer decide. So, what it looks like is what it is. It's used, but a neat old nautical item. Thanks for looking.

Here is something you don't see every day! For sale is a great old copper& brass lantern made by R.C. Murry& Co. Limited of Glasgow. England. It has all 3 of it's brass plaques, stating it's a Port lantern, who it's made by, and the patent numbers. The plaques have a beautiful flourish to them! It is identified as a Lamp-ads 924. The last photo shows you just how big this lantern really is, and it's BIG! It stands 25" with the handle up. 22" with it down, 15" across, and 14" deep. It was made for a Class 4 vessel, over 65' and weighs 18.5 lbs. It has a good Sherwood Burner, with both wheels working freely. The entire lantern is made up of copper. With the exception of the brass handle, plaques, flat back hanging bracket, and top lid. It has it's burner and reflector, both in good working ... morecondition. There are two small chips to the fresnel, both of which do not mar it's looks nor do anything to stop it's function. They are both exterior chips. The copper housing has one small ding at the bottom of the right hand corner of the fresnel. It is likely from the early 1930's. We acquired it along with a second lantern we were after at the time. It came from a Honolulu estate of an avid maritime collector. His main focus were for items from the RMS Queen Mary and the SS Normandie. His children said this lantern came from the Normandie. But they had no proof of that. However we did get a Letter of Provenance stating what I've said. don't know what that's worth though. Vintage Boat Port Starboard Running Marker Lights NFL CO Nautical Marine Lamps
4-3/4" tall by 3-1/2" front to back or 4-1/2" diagonally. A wonderful set of lights in excellent condition with natural patina. The lenses are embossed with initials of the maker. Which was the National Marine Lamp Co. No dents, no heavy corrosion. The green oxidation on them could easily be removed leaving them with the beautiful patina, or the could be polished up to a brilliant brass like original. The fittings have surface oxidation, but are in excellent condition. The green lens has a small inconspicuous chip on one of the ribs near an edge as seen in last photo#12. There is old masking tape residue on the backs and bottoms. The previous owner put tape on a lot of things to protect from contact with other materials. These can be easily rewired. Each connection point has a set screw you tighten down on the wire lead, after ... moreinserting it in the proper hole. One of these set screws can be seen in photo#11. An antique dealer informed me that based on the design. Quality, and materials used, it was likely built in the early 1900’s by the prolific National Marine Company based in New York. It measures 6½” tall(with the bale down) x 5” wide x 4½” deep(add 3” for light divider) and weighs 2½ pounds. The lantern is all brass has been polished and clear coated. They also have red and green glass lenses on them. CONDITION Good Condition: but quite a bit of age and use related wear. These pieces are in all original condition with some visible age to them. The base oil lantern piece had pegs that I assume held it to the light assembly when rotated but these are worn down and do not hold it in place while hung. Large Antique Nautical Lantern Vintage 5-way Green Ship Lamp Port& Starboard Used- Antique Nautical Lantern This lantern has some discoloration around glass and on seams. Pictures reflect a bent spot along one of the upper seams. Approximate size is 14.5" tall including carry handle by 9" wide. This lantern has NOT been converted to an electrical light. I have included the lighted pictures so you can see the brilliance of the green glass. Glass does not have any cracks or major scratches in them. The glass does not have any marks in the glass, other than what appears to be consistent with how glass was made during that time. I do not know the exact age of this lantern. However it is the only one I have seen with 5 semi-globe sections. I was going to convert this Kerosene/oil lamp into a lighted lamp and clean it up for my nautical ... morethemed room, but never got around to it. I now am moving and liquidating some of my stuff. I did pay quit a bit for this lamp due to its unusualness and size, however I am willing to take any reasonable offers. This would be a great old kerosene o conversion lantern to put in a parlor, back porch, sitting room or make great lighting for movie night. I prefer the green over your normal red port lights because it is a little softer and not as aggressive in nature depending on your usage or if you decide to use it for a child's night lantern for sleeping. Pair of Vintage Perko Port/Starbard Split Ship Nautical Lanterns
Nice pair of old Perko split-lens boat oil lanterns from my collection. These were just restored over 20 years ago when I purchased them. One side is green the other is red. These are galvanized lanterns with brass trim and top ring. They are each 8" tall to the top of the ring. And 5" across at the base. The last four photos show the lanterns sitting on top of a flash light to show the color of the lens. All lens are crack-free and not chipped. They are both painted flat black and there are no fountains. They are meant to sit on top of a light source, or could be wired. Will ship to U.S.A. only by standard USPS mail. Pair of Copper finish Ship Corner Lanterns- Starboard" +"Port" Decorative Reproduction set- great for a nautical themed room! There is red painted glass on the'port' lantern. And green painted glass on the'starboard' lantern. Both lanterns are in fairly good condition. There is some chipping of paint on the glass- especially the green colored glass. I don't know anything about these as they were found in an estate clean out. I was told they are Perko lamps but found no markings- please do your own homework. Both look to have been rewired based on the 12v sticker inside. Now they have 110v wiring, one is missing a plug. Look to be made out of brass and galvanized, and the exterior of the galvanized is painted a flat black. Both lenses appear to be in great shape and are stamped'Perkins C/L 3 Side' and'FIC259 Mould No 3' They are approx 12" x 6" x 6" each and weigh about 3 3/4 lbs each. Gorgeous Port Light Lantern. Lantern measures approx. 10 inches tall(not counting the pail 3.5" type handle) by 7 inches wide by 6 inches deep. I have sold a half dozen nautical lamps and this is by far the fairest of them all.inside 7 out. It has a beautiful patina. Only one very small dent, no scratching or chips. There are two layers of curved glass.the exterior glass(Barcelona Glass) is clear and a red internal curved piece. Both pieces excellent.no chips or cracks There is an opening. Surrounded by a rubber gasket, going into the lamp. Not sure what it is for, maybe a lead light. I placed a small light in the body to show what this lamp can look like. Could be electrified quite easily with the hole already there. Great looking lamp. Would look great all lit up out on a boat dock. By the pool or on a patio. We are selling a set of Maritime Ship Lights. The plate reads Perko manufacturers Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp Miami Florida. We had these on display and have moved to a much smaller home and just don't have the room for them anymore. They make a great display and conservation piece. These measure approximately 8 1/2 inches x 8 1/2 inches x 12 inches high. One of the lights are green and the other is red for port and starboard. The gentleman we bought these from is a member of the Corps of Engineers and gave us this information about the lights. They are off of a riverboat that was over 100 years old and its home was on the Cumberland River. They scuttled the boat in the 90's to make it a home for fish(a fishing reef) He saved them for himself prior and used them as display. Up for sale a vintage copper& brass maritime ship lamp with a green glass globe. The majority of the metal is copper although the back may be brass. And the plate is brass. This is a full red glass globe. The case is 14 inches tall measuring to the top of the handle,the round portion with the globe is 8 inches in diameter and the base portion is 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches square. This has been wired so the light is in good working order. There is a brass plate on the outside(pictured) it shows Port Round Red. The globe is marked with a triangle with GGG inside it and has a ships anchor, also it shows BT43557 and BHI 09/03/76 BHI 09/01/81. Beautiful Vintage Ship's Port Red Lantern. Solid brass in excellent condition, electrified with in-line hi-low 2 stage cord switch. Measures 11-1/2" height, 7.5" diameter. Red original vintage fresnel lens is 5-3/4" high x 5-1/2" diameter, perfect condition save for couple flea bites, only one visible on the outside about 1/4" wide. No cracks. Solid and heavy.17+ lbs. All three gaskets superb, non brittle condition. Minor tarnish/oxidation here and there consistent with age. I've added solid brass acorn decorative nuts. Weathered and has some rust and oxidizing on the lantern. The top hanging part is loose as screws not secure in the back of it. I believe it is copper and or brass. I do not see any name on the lantern. There are no dents on the lantern. Front screw opening. The front has the word PORT. The light is heavy red glass. Not plastic. There is no interior piece that lights the lantern. The glass has come loose and the metal frame has separated in the corner but all of this can be fixed. Could use a cleaning/polishing. For its age. It is in very good condition. Very Nice Wilcox& Crittenden Co. Ships Red"Port" Lantern. Middletown. Conn. USA on Brass Tag. Great Patina! This lantern has no Burner. But is in Excellent Condition. I'M not sure how the burner was installed. As this does not open from front or have clips like others I've seen. No Chips in glass that I can see, No holes in metal, Minor bend on left front corner. I figure someone out there will know about this one. So I am starting at a low bid& Low Shipping in hopes it finds the right home and match! Please see all Pictures.this is a very nice lamp! BRASS Nautical SHIP Lantern Light 4 sided glass 12" PORT/Starboard Estate Find
This lantern is in very good condition. The wick is unburned. I have not polished it at all and will leave that up to the new owner. It is aprox. 12" tall not including the bale. Diameter of base is aprox 7 1/2"
