If you intend to use them with electricity then a new cord will be required as the cords were cut during removal. Neither has the interior oil lamp and I have been told that just about any small metal wide bottom oil lamp can be used. Both lanterns have their original thick heavy clear lens and these are in excellent condition. They also retain their bottom lenses(shown in images) Both tops are hinged with their original thumb screw and have their original bail handle. The brass is in very good condition with no damage. I cannot find any others to compare it to on ebay and there are no markings on the light other than on the socket inside the lamp and on the side as shown are the letters P&O. I am not sure if this was a gas type light or not. Although it has a socket where a bulb or something would have fit but on the side of the light it looks like a flint or sparker. The light will need the chrome trim cleaned.Sorry I am not much help here, please see the pictures and maybe someone out there can tell me more. The works are mounted on a nice piece of oak and there are exposed wires etc on the back. It appears the glass is missing however the clip holder to hold the glass guard in is in the metal hood. The metal hood is hinged and has holes to let the heat escape. The light measures 11" long x 5" wide and weighs unpackaged 3-1/2 pounds.At the top of the light is a knob that can be turned to control the brightness i am guessing. I will combine items to save on shipping expenses, but please contact me for shipping rates as they vary depending on location, and the rates shown are only a ball park and apply only to Canada not including postal tax. Or half lens, for either the Mast or other part of a nautical vessel in very good condition with minor chips, scratches and what looks like a crack on the bottom, but after close inspection its not a crack and is from the molding process. In super condition is this 1960s All Wooden Table Lamp in a Nautical Maritime theme. The Lamp has a large anchor resting on its side against a big beer keg. The Beer Keg is made of wooden staves and metal hoops. It has a spigot in front. Near the Keg is a wooden Beer Stein wrapped in metal hoops. The Lamp is framed in real rope around the top and around the recessed base. The base is kidney shape and is thick solid wood. The“floor” of the base is grooved to represent a ship’s floor. The Lamp is all original and comes with its original neck. Harp, finial and cord set. The light switch is a 3-way light switch and works on all 3 levels. RARE UNMODIFIED ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP ANCHOR LANTERN MARITIME NAUTICAL COPPER RIVET
Up for sale is RARE UNMODIFIED ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP ANCHOR LANTERN. This is such a great find because as just stated it is UNMODIFIED. Meaning it has NOT been converted over to electric. This lamp features a brass body with handmade copper rivets. All the hardware(rivets. Hinges, hasps, etc) appear to be hand made/forged. The ANCHOR brass label is applied on the top section which opens to expose the burner. The hook and chain to secure the hinged top are still intact. There is also a hinged top cap for flame inspection. When you open the top cap you will see that the chimney is triple insulated. It has a Frenzel type lens which appears to be old and original glass. The oil tank and burner assembly fits snug inside the lantern. Upon removal of the burner assembly from the oil tank. The wick is new and the inside of the oil tank has no residue ... moreor oil smell, suggesting it has to have been either cleaned very thoroughly(with several areas inside the tank unreachable) or possibly never used! Even though it seems to be the latter of the two options we still say possibly due to now documentation or provenance on the lantern beyond the current owner. This lack of evidence of use is consistent with inside of the metal chimney where no obvious traces of soot can be found. The base has aspiration vents all around it. The burner's wick knob has the words"SHERWOODS LTD. B'HAM MADE IN ENGLAND" on it. Making this from the very early 1900s at the latest from what we can find on the company. We have no reason to believe that this burner insert is anything but original to the lantern. Meaning we believe the lantern to be from the same time period. If anyone knows any different please share with us. In use this lamp would have been hauled up the ship's mast with halyards. To secure it as such. The lamp is equipped with substantial brass bail handles on the top and bottom. These are attached to heavy cast brass brackets riveted to the body of the lamp. Everything works. It stands 15" tall. 6 1/2" deep and 6 1/2" wide. The glass is all in good condition. No dents, breaks or flaws that I can see. The material seems to be all brass except the rolled edges and corners are brass rolled over a steel rod. This lantern is dirty and needs cleaning but i will leave that up to the purchaser, I am selling as found. This will make a beautiful display or actually use it! Industrial Spot light Caster Wheel Lamp Nautical, Vintage, Maritime, Mid Century
This is one of the most creative spotlights I've seen to date. Normally you see spotlights on tripods. But I created something that is outside the box! The Spotlight is easy to move around or could be used as a table lamp. Or floor lamp. The spotlight measures 10" in diameter, 19" height. and 12" at the widest point of wooden base. The caster wheels are vintage. The wooden base is an old vintage chopping block, and the spotlight came off an old 1940's truck. Vintage twisted cloth(not rayon) lamp cord measures 6' long. With an on/off rotary switch with vintage plug. Spotlight has beautiful patina, and age that adds unique character. Antique Vintage Wedge Brass lantern, maritime lamp, nautical light mine railroad
amazing antique vintage brass oil lantern. I dont know exactly the age of the piece but it is in really good shape. 1920's Maritime Nautical Neptune Oil Lamp Brass Ships Lantern
Vintage 1920's maritime brass oil burning ships lantern. I have not polished it but it seems to be in great condition. There is no corrosion to the brass and the glass sides and chimney have no chips or cracks and there is just a small dent on the top. It is missing the wick. Please look at pictures closely. It measures about 15" tall without the handle extended and 6.5" wide. The plate in front is engraved Neptune.

Bulpitt& Sons Solid Brass Nautical Maritime Ship Oil Lantern all original BULPITT& SONS BIRMINGHAM Is embossed on the chimney of the lantern. But barely legible due to a light stamp. The date is also stamped on the chimney but cannot be read. Fully functional. Heavy gauge brass with copper rivets lantern complete with all its original parts. Used aboard a ship as a bulkhead, cabin, wardroom lamp/ lantern. Bulpitt and Sons LTD is imprinted on both the chimney and Bulpitt on the oil tank. Manufactured by famed English maker. Bulpitt and Sons, Birmingham, England. This is an extraordinary and rare item in excellent condition. The lantern measures 16" at the tallest chimney point and 20" with the wooden handle extended. 8" wide at the back, 5" deep. Weighs amost 11 lbs. The back is flat and boasts a huge brass clip ... morewith copper rivets for sturdy mounting. The front is three-sided with glass windows which are all intact, with no cracks or chips. The original brass burner is also in excellent condition with a wick, not sure it is the original. The stamp on the burner clasp reads Bulpitt. A brass reflector wall is behind the burner. The burner looks as though never used and slides out easily through the glass door on the right. There is also a slide on the side of the door that moves to expose an opening without having to open the door. The chimney top opens and the entire top is hinged to flip back allowing access to the chimney. It even still has the solid brass knob on the front lower corner. There are a few small dents consistent with its age. But it does not detract from the overall beauty of this gorgeous piece of British seafaring history. This would make a great piece to add to any maritime nautical collection.

I have up for auction a really nice pair of vintage/antique Russell& Stoll Co. New York wall sconces. This pair is in very good condition but as can be seen will need rewiring to be functional. The back of the sconces appear to be made from galvanized metal. The rest of the light and cage portion are I believe to be brass. Cages open and close with a spring latch. This old lamp has a metal protective screen around the original glass shade and a wooden handle below the lamp as opposed to a metal swinging handle above the lamp. The metal cage is a little bent. And the handle has a crack running full length on one side and a smaller crack near the bottom, as shown in our photos. The base is marked Perko with the number 1256. The glass globe has a“P” embossed near the base. Then numbers“9(S-3129-L” followed by“Type O. The handle has a threaded fitting on the bottom so it could be mounted on a corresponding fitting somewhere. But the threads are corroded. Vintage Antique Brass Nautical Lantern Industrial Maritime Lighting Lamp
Up for auction is this antique or vintage brass nautical lantern. I am uncertain of its exact age as I could not find another in my internet search. Wonderful original patina and in great working condition. It is really quite heavy. Weighing over 7 lbs. Ceramic neck inside; ribbed glass. I do not know if this was originally in a ceiling hanging down or on a deck standing up.the more knowledgeable ebay maritime collector knows more than me! Measures approx. 10 3/4" h x 4 3/4" w. Has the number 4538-1 embossed on the top. It looks like D-3 or 8- proceeds this number but it is faded with age and hard to read. Shipping is $19.50 across US connecting states.

I believe this to be a vintage ship/nautical/maritime oil lantern in good condition. Made of copper, brass and a amber/yellowish tinted globe shaped glass w/ no cracks or chips. The lantern measures 11"H x 7.5"W and has a small removable oil lantern that enters the lantern through a small hole in the base of the lantern. I left the metal the way I found this piece and only cleaned up the glass globe. I do not see any reason why this lantern would not function properly. The top handle piece and vertical bars are brass. Along with the front plate, the rest is copper. This vintage Seahorse Anchor light lantern is salty and original. It is 23 1/2" tall with loop and is very rare. The patina is very nice and shows that this is the real deal. All the wires are present. All the frosted glass shades are in great shape. There are some scratches on the ship wheel. But those can be touched up pretty easy if desired. One og the hanging lanterns is missing a twist on fastener for the top of one of the rods that goes from top to bottom. This does not effect the use. All in all this is a great nautical piece. Nice Brass Chase USA Old Ship Maritime Lamp Vintage Nautical Light, Red & Blue!
This is such a wonderful piece; almost hate to part with it. It is marked underneath. Chase! Measures 8.5" tall and 4.5" across its base. No cracks or chips to glass. ANTIQUE NEPTUNE NR BRASS NAUTICAL MARITIME SHIPS CARGO KEROSENE/OIL LANTERN
Up for auction is an awesome antique Neptune Brass Oil Lantern. This is a"ship" or"maritime" lantern. It measures approximately 15" tall(not including handle) and 6.5" square(not including fittings/external bars) The lid is closed by a latch and clip. Open this to expose the inner chimney. Which can be easily removed by pulling up on the two brass handles in opposing corners. The chimney is in like new condition and the wick raiser works like a dream. There are four outer glass panes that easily slide in and out for cleaning. They are crystal clear and in very good condition with no visible chips. The rivets on this lantern are copper. This is a very high quality lamp in excellent condition. I chose not to polish the brass/copper because some people like the"vintage" look.
