Anchor Ships Lantern(Not a Reproduction) This is a very large antique ships lantern marked as"Anchor" To the best of my knowledge it has all parts needed to burn oil. Please view pictures to augment my description. It is not electrified and it is NOT a reproduction. Lamp measures a stately 23" to top of handle. 18" tall without handle and at its widest a 10" diameter. With the exception of a dent in the brass at the base the lantern is in excellent condition. Lantern inner chimney has a couple of chips and a crack at the bottom where it sits in base. This can be easily replace but I beleive that this one is original so I will not replace. Awesome nautical historical item. I am not an expert on oil lanterns but will do my best to answer questions. This lamp came from an estate in lower Delaware near the beach. Offered here is this beautiful antique brass ship maritime marine lamp. It is in original untouched condition. It may need to be cleaned or polished but I am selling it as is as some collectors like things in original condition and also. I wouldn't know what cleaner to use so as not to ruin the natural patina. The light still has the original wiring intact. There are no chips or cracks to the glass that I can see. The protective cage around the glass globe is intact. The lamp is in overall nice condition. Vintage Tung Woo PORT Lantern I recovered this Tung Woo port-side lantern from a sunken pipe barge while working off the coast of Borneo in the South China Sea in 1971. From it’s configuration it appears to have always been an electric lantern. I used it with a small battery light for a little evening ambiance on the deck table. So no heat damage from using it with candles. From the number of mounting holes(see last photo) it had a long service use history before I salvaged it. My guess is early post WWII. It has a heavy clear glass lens with an internal removable curved glass red filter. It’s got dents. Dimples and a wonky corner, decades of stains from living outside but no gouges or deep scratches. I have a rare and unique and very cool looking Mid-Century all metal with glass globes. Nautical Ship Table Lamp. This lamp is made to look like a sailing ship with sails. It is constructed with metal and has three amber dimple globes. This lamp lights up and works perfectly. The lamp stands an incredible 40 inches tall and 24 inches wide. A brass"MASTHEAD" plaque surmounts the hood of this VINTAGE NAUTICAL LANTERN. It stands 14-1/2 inches tall. Not including handle. This lamp is authentic and dated 1943 made in Great Britain. The stamp also includes a number(865) The lamp is 18 in high with handle and weighs about 8 lbs. This piece of history was brought back from Britain after WWII by a distant relative and is authentic and very unusual. The brass has acquired a weathered patina but could be polished if desired.

It weighs a little over 12 pounds. I'm not sure if it's copper or brass. It's also very LARGE. It measures about 13 1/2" tall, 13 3/4" wide and is approximately 9 1/2" deep from each corner to the back. It was a originally a kerosene or oil ship's lantern. It's an amazing light! It's in excellent working condition, it's been newly re-wired& has an antique switch in the front(converted to electric) The switch is turned to right each time you want to turn it off or no. It has a removable red port glass(see photos of it turned on, with and without the red glass) The clear glass has a small 1/2" chip in one of the ... moreribbed sections; it's a very heavy thick glass so this does not compromise anything. Near the top of the lamp there's an emblem that has the numbers"3883" There is also some etching on both the clear and red glass. I wonder if this belonged to a military ship. As most items on those ships were marked with serial#s etc. The writing on each glass piece says"DHJE 3883, No. 654, E.31.5.61" It's not very noticable and you can't see it unless you really look; it's not seen when the light is on. The door does stick some; you have to put some effort into it, to open it. Condition wise.it's vintage! There are a few dings& dents. Some areas of wear etc.but considering it was a ship light, it's going to have a weathered old look, which I personally prefer. I've never seen another light like this. It has a great industrial. Here is a Large 8 inch tall RED LENSE REAL GLASS marked Corning on glass Nautical SHIP. DOCK, or PIER Nautical Light. This 8 inch tall lamp has a 3 1/2 inch tall RED glass bezile lense, There are only a couple of specs on the glass that appears to be in very good condition NO CRACKS. The base is 6 inches across and the light is very heavy duty. Not sure if it is military as it appears to be somewhat grey in coloring. There is a number 9-S 4473-L in raised lettering on top. There is a 64 inch heavy duty cord with some type of plug in socket end see photo 5. Not sure if from a ship, dock or pier. Not sure if it works or what type of power supply it used. Antique Copper Wrought Iron Nautical Garden Dolphin Lamp Brackets Arts + Crafts
Fabulous pair of pretty large cast iron brackets designed as lantern brackets. They could also be used to support a window box. They feature the detailed profile of a seahorse. The bases(the verticals that attach to a wall) are a narrow shield-like shape with a hint of fleur de lys on the bottom. Very fanciful. I think this piece is copper. As a magnet does not adhere and there is a little bit of shine coming through the painted finish. The seahorses are cast iron. The top hanging bar could be hand wrought iron. A magnet adheres to both of these pieces. The hanging bar is quite linear with an end that holds a lantern. I think it's hollow, permitting electrical wire to be threaded through. The shape of the top piece and the copper base suggest to me the arts and crafts movement. The wiring is very old, so I wouldn't be surprised if ... morethese are from the 20's or30's. But I am just guessing. When we acquired these we were told that they were from the first New York World's Fair. I have done some research and have not found any images that confirm this. They were from an estate in Queens NY of two men. One of whom was a set designer for the earliest Today Shows and Capt. Kangaroo. The partner was a model ship builder. They had a fantastic eclectic collection of decorative collectibles. If indeed these were from the World's Fair, I wouldn't be surprised if these men made sure they got some"trinkets" when buildings were taken down. Nice and sturdy. The seahorses and the top piece have superficial rust. They dirty the hands when handled. The silvery finish which could be original is uneven. They definitely need refinishing. If the buyer wants to use these as part of a lantern. They need to be wired. Please see another pair of these that I am selling on ebay that has remnants of the electrical pieces. Selling a cute little copper lantern. All five panes of glass are individual. The hurricane is in nice shape with some nicks. No makers name that I can find. Says made in Hong Kong on the bottom. This brass hanging bulkhead ship's lantern is a rare example of the workmanship and quality of Wm. Harvie& Co. Ltd. Birmingham, England, one of the largest and finest nautical lighting manufacturers at the turn of the 20th century. Dating to around 1900, the lantern has a detachable kerosene burner and hand-blown font. Except for the wick, everything on the lantern is original. Measuring 17 inches tall. Excluding the ring handle. The lantern is marked with a plaque on the domed top. It reads, Wm. Harvie& Co. Ltd. 121 Bishop Street, Birmingham. It is substantial. Weighing over 5 pounds. The lantern is 6& 1/2 inches wide and 4& 1/2 inches deep. The detachable kerosene burner is accessed by a side door. Which has a sliding lock and a ring handle. Nice Old Brass Nautical Ship Lamp with Red Clear & Green Glasses NO RESERVE
Measures approx. 9-1/2" high to top of cap and 11-3/4" to top of handle. Made entirely of brass with glass lenses. The only marking or name that I could find anywhere is"THE MILLER CO. U.S.A. on the wick adjustment knob. And one side of the wick cover is signed"1925. This lantern apparently was electrified at one time, as there is a small hole neatly punched through the backside near the base. Otherwise it is complete and needs only light cleaning and polishing. A good old one, probably 1920-1940 vintage. I will combine shipping whenever possible, and normally will ship worldwide within one day of receiving payment. R.I. residents must add 7% sales tax. Nautical blue glass and red glass lamp lenses
This auction consists of the two glass dome shaped lenses. Seen in the pictures. These where located in a box with other nautical items, and as the last picture shows the LIGHT HOUSING{ not a part of this auction} is made by the same company as the glass lens. The identification on the red rim is S1085- 2R- and the blue has the word GRIMES B 5818. The* is not easily readable but something is there just the same. They measure to be 7 inches in length and have two holes for attaching to the light housing. Aged Brass and Etched Glass Nautical Lamp Lantern Candle Holder
This belonged to my Uncle and he had it for roughly 30-40 years. He lived on the lake in upper Michigan. So that’s why I think it’s a nautical lamp. But I’m not really sure. The top opens and shuts, and the base turns to unlock and open. The last thing my Uncle had in the base was a 2-1/4" citronella insect repellent oil candle(shown in photo as an example. But I'm not including that in auction because it's old and dried up) The brass is aged and there is quite a bit of oxidation as you can see in the photos. I haven't attempted to clean it with soaps and solvents because I don’t know what I’m doing and could ruin it. Plus I know some people like the natural patina look. The patina blues on the bottom are gorgeous. It measures 9 ½” high. The etched designs in the glass globe are 8-pointed stars making a beautiful starburst ... moredesign. Made in India.

Offered for sale is a antique/ vintage Perko brass half round shaped marine lamp. The lamp stands about 10-1/2" tall and with the top ring is 12-1/2" tall. It is about 6" wide across the front. The top features a pierced castle shaped vent. The glass is clear. Ribbed and convex shaped. The"door" to the interior has a bolt action slide. The interior has an odd lighting mechanism. The front plate holding the door is bolted on. The Perko brass tag is missing, but the outline is still visible. This lamp was probably originally galvanized to prevent corrosion. The lamp has been used and there is some corrosion present on the interior(as shown) There are also some dings(as shown) The lamp has not been lit, but we presume it still functions.
