Large Vintage Antique Perkins PERKO Ship Light Lantern Nautical Maritime Running
I am selling an old PERKO Ship Light. As pictured. There are 4-5 small cracks in the metal around the screws, but it is still very solid and together structurally. I am not sure how old it is. An expert would know better. The light itself measures about 13 inches from top to bottom. Perfect for re-purposing. For sale is an antique maritime ships lantern made of copper and brass. The lantern is in fair condition. It is missing the burner. Plus. The globe has been busted and glued back together. It stands about 19 inches tall. The base measures about 9 inches ac ross the bottom. I don't know who the maker is. There is a plate with the number 44190 on the front. There are also some numbers that are scratched into the globe. I could not find any makers marks. If you have nay questions, please ask. Thank you.

Great Matching Pair of Old. Marine Ship's Lantern Lamps. These look like Brass.and they also look like Bronze.I can't be sure. I DO know that the Handles are Bronze. I am estimating that these probably date back to Late World War I or Early World War II and may well have been used on military vessels and/or Merchant marine vessels. They are Electric and have Rotating Shutters both on the body and in the bottoms of the lamps. In this way, the light could be closed off both from the sides and the bottoms as need be.kind of an early manual rheostat. These both Measure 8" Tall to the top of the Threaded, Screw-in Lid. The lid, itself measures 3 3/4" Diameter and has a 1 1/2" tall Wire Pass-through apparatus. To the top of the extended handle measures 12" The Base of the lantern measures 5 1/2" Diameter. Each of ... morethese Weigh a hefty 8 3/4 Lbs. Both lids have the Original Removable Light Bulb Sockets. Condition: Number THREE(see pics) is 100% Complete in that it has the little handle sticking off of the side of the rotating shutter for ease of opening and closing the shutter. Number ONE is missing that little handle. That's the only difference. The bottom slide on Number ONE is bent a bit but because it's made of very thin brass. It can EASSILY be pressed back into shape.I'll leave that up to the winning bidder along with re-wiring them. I removed the old cut-off wire stumps that were in the housings and needed to go but I'm not going to re-wire them.that's for you to do. It's a no-brainer.stick the wire through the housing, stick the ends of your bared wire in the set screws.tighten and Voila! Here we have a very nice quality matched pair of ~ COPPER NAUTICAL BOAT LANTERNS ~. These Vintage boat lights were recently acquired out of a private estate. They are solid copper with glass lenses and appear to be very nice quality lamps. We believe that these were made in the 1960's era as replacements for the original antique lamps. I would imagine that they were very expensive to purchase when new. They measure 9 1/2 inches tall" not counting the bail handle" by about 6 inches wide. They are in very nice condition with only a couple fairly minor little dents. The ne burner has the chimney and the other burner does not. Up for sale is a beautiful old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. This is a really cool old lantern. And it was very well made. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. The lantern is very dusty& dirty, and could use a good cleaning, but structurally it appears to be fine, with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable lantern!

Just turn the switch and watch it glow. It puts off a Beautiful fully adjustable Blue Glowing Light using a Vintage style 40w Edison light bulb with a full range Leviton dimmer switch. This awesome Antique ship lantern works perfectly and is in excellent vintage condition. The lantern was manufactured in the 1920's and is constructed of metal with brass hardware and a brass manufacturers name plate. Pair Vintage Brass Cargo Ship Boat Nautical Maritime Oil Wedge Lantern Light
Up for sale is a beautiful pair of old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. These are really fine old lanterns. And very well made. The rivets are copper. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" with the handle up they measure 22 1/2" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. They are in excellent condition with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable pair of lanterns!

Up for auction is AN ORIGINAL VERY OLD vintage solid galvanized metal nautical Ship Anchor Lantern. The classic anchor lamp used on sailing ships for hundreds of years. The anchor lamp is machined in pure heavy-gauge steel sheet. The Fresnel style lens is made to magnify the oil lamp light to be visible for 20 nautical miles. The tops to the main body and the vent top are both hinged. Thus the top swings open for access and ease of cleaning. This all metal(except the frilled vent top, which is galvanized copper) is galvanized and shows its age. THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION. The anchor lamp is named for its use. A 360o white light is required to be displayed at the highest point( the tallest mast) on all vessels at anchor or under way at night. For auction is an old oil lamp. Very unusual one, I think. I have not been able to figure out too much about it. It has some age though. The bottom is weighted, which I was thinking might indicate that it was to be used on a boat or ship. The only marking is on the knob and it has an R and V on each side of a anchor. I have had this a few years in my basement bar. But changing themes and it is time to let it go. I am not sure it is functional, but the way it is made I would expect that it might be. Appears to have been designed to burn oil(see photos) History: In the early l960’s. I purchased this lantern from a marine salvage yard in San Francisco. I disassembled everything and had the metal parts dipped to remove decades of paint and crud. And then sprayed the metal parts with clear matte acrylic. The objective was to just clean it up; not to make it look new nor“restored” At that time we had a waterfront weekend place on Bethel Island. CA, in the Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta area. Our dining table was placed before a window which overlooked Piper Slough. Where we moored our boat, and Frank’s Tract(lake) This lantern was hung above the table and centered in ... morethe window. During the wiring to accommodate 110/120V“shore power” I installed a small pull-chain switch at the bottom of the lantern. Here’s how it worked: If the adults were gathered round the table sippin. Dippin. And grinnin, we might prefer the red“mood light” only. If the kids were playing checkers. They would pull the chain to activate the down-light. There is ample space for a Par38 halogen floodlight. The beacon is lighted by three other internal lamp sockets illuminating the Fresnel lens. Hanging chain and canopy(as shown) included. Light bulbs not incl. too fragile) I fondly remember returning from many a sunset cruise. Guided to our dock by this stunning piece of genuine nautical history. Land ho. Mates, man the lines! I PURCHASED THIS MANY YEARS AGO AND IT HAD ABOUT 10 COATS OF BLACK PAINT ON IT. I TOOK IT TO A PROFESSIONAL AND HAD IT CLEANED AND IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL BRASS. THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO SO IT HAS DULLED OVER THE YEARS BUT WOULD CLEAN BEAUTIFUL AGAIN. IT IS IN REALLY NICE CONDITION. NO GLASS CRACKS OR CHIPS. SOMEONE DID DRILL A HOLE IN THE BOTTOM, I SUPPOSE TO TRY AND MAKE A LAMP. THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES OR DENTS AND HAS NOT BEEN WELDED OR ANY OTHER REPAIR MADE TO IT. N ice old Perko Oil Lamp Font Part all brass made by Perko as shown on the bottom. I believe most of their Oil Lamps were made for boats/ships. In really nice condition. The burner says P& A MFG Waterbury Conn. It opens up as shown in pictures. Has a little screw that probably held in a shade. Great piece. TERMS: Payment is due within 3 days from end of Auction. Vintage Marine Ship Navigation Light Nautical Maritime Lantern Clear Boat WW II
My husband is organizing his shop and parting with quite a few items. Here is one of those items and his description of it: Maybe a good Christmas gift for the nautical collector in your life? Vintage marine ship’s iron navigation light. 180 degree clear glass Fresnel lens Navy? WWII? I picked this up at an estate sale and planned to use it as yard lighting. Turned out it did not fit the landscape plan. This is a large ships navigation light. Either for the stern(showing white two points abaft of the beam, starboard and port) or masthead light(forward, showing two points abaft of beam, both starboard and port) This shows a bit of light surface rust in spots. The result of years at sea. There is no internal mounting or wiring for a bulb, but that could be easily designed and installed. The gasket around the hinged lid is missing, but could ... morebe replaced with some type of weather-stripping. There are two small chips in the Fresnel lens, as shown in the photo. These should not affect the durability of the lens. You can see the imperfections in the lens from the glass casting process, as sign of its age. This stands 11 ½ inches tall. 8 inches in diameter(across) 9 inches across the top latch and hinge. The Fresnel lens is full width and 7 inches high. The base is round with“bayonet” mounting slots and is 5 ¾ inches outside and 5 3/16 inch inside diameter. The lid is held closed by a hinge on one side and thumb bolt on the other. The lid swings open freely. This is how I found it, I only cleaned the lens to confirm no other damage. I put a light inside it to show what it looks like illuminated for the pictures. The light does not come with this piece of marine hardware. As many ships navigation lights are made of brass or bronze. I can’t help to wonder if this was from a WWII ship, a time when these metals were in short supply and needed for munitions manufacture for the war effort. This is painted mist gray, a standard US Navy color, but cannot find any markings to prove this. In fact, the only markings I can

Early Brass Binnacle Lamp Lantern Nautical Maritime Ship, Unusual and Rare
This listing is for a Rare and Unusual Early Brass Binnacle Lamp or Lantern. This old Nautical Lantern is about 10" tall x 5" wide. It features a curved glass lens. An interior reflector, two handles attached to a latched and hinged access door, all brass construction with soldered joints and wind proof exhaust.
