This is an antique globe lantern with globe red glass. The fuel canister unscrews from the bottom. The internal parts appear to be complete. All parts fit together perfectly. The beautiful red glass that appears to be hand blown reads"Perkins 10" Frederick Perkins founded the Perkins Marine Lamp Company in the late 1800's in Brooklyn. This early style kerosene burner combination navigation light with Fresnel lenses made by the National Marine Lamp Co. of New York. This lamp was made prior to 1912 since after that date National Maritime were marked with a patent date of 1912 or used the trade name“Triplex” This is an early example since the company was founded in 1906. This lamp is most suitable for someone seeking this shielded design of which only a few have survived. It has a great deal of character and a wonderfully warm patina. THE MAKER: National Marine Lamp Co. According to Anthony Hobson's Lanterns that Lit our World, Book 2 was started in 1906 operating from Pear St. in New York City. ... moreIt brought the burner shop Bristol Brass in Forestville, CT in 1911. National Marine bought from Bristol Brass, so similarities in the products are to be expected. Frederick and his son Louis left that company in 1916 and moved back to Brooklyn, New York where they started Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation so there is a lot of lamp history in this early lamp. I'm not sure who this was made by but it has great patina looks like it was electric at one point fron the hole near the top would make a great light no cracks in lens 19" tall and approx 8" wide. This is a brass spot light off of a Columbia River Gillnet boat that is very unique as it is a vintage 12 volt light that is very rare. The lens says'Per Lux 200T' it belonged to a friend of mine who could not tell me the vintage only that it was"OLD" He has used it for many years long ago on his commercial fishing vessel. I do not know if the bulb lights or not as I don not have a 12v system to plug into. Either way it would make a great piece to add to your nautical collection. I have a pair of rare vintage brass Perko marine ship's lamps or lanterns. They used to be kerosene or oil but were converted to electric. They are in wonderful shape with no dents or damage and everything is intact. they do however have wear that is consistent with age. Each lantern has a finger lamp inside that is removable as shown in the pictures. A 4 inch reflector/ mirror, and 3 glass panels. Each is also stamped with a brass tag that reads" PERKO Manufacturer's Reg. Trademark Perkin's Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Miami Florida USA" on the front and another stamp on the back that reads the same thing. They both measure almost 14" tall. one being about 1/4" taller than the other one. You can definitely tell that these gems were handmade. These are very cool nautical decorations or gifts!

Scarce Pair Antique National Marine Lamp Maritime Navy Anchor Red Globe Lanterns
Just out of a local house is this nice pair of Red globe maritime lanterns. Our lantern books show that they were called Globe Lanterns.Navy Lanterns, Signal Lanterns, or Anchor Lights. This pair was made by the National Marine Lamp Co. around 1900. The lamps are galvanized and measure about 15 5/8 inches tall to the top of the ring or about 14 inches to the top of the lantern with the ring folded down. It measures about 9 1/2 inches wide. They are both in good condition. One has a brass tag marked MF'RD by National Marine Lamp Co. New York. The globe has no cracks but has some paint on the surface and some light scratching. It is missing the catch for the bottom door and the font is missing. The other lantern is not marked with the makers plate. The globe has some paint on it and has some light scratching as well but no cracks. It does ... morehave its original font with the burner marked National Marine Lamp Co. Just out of a local house is this Rare antique William Porter's Son and Co. binnacle lamp. The lamp is all brass and has a half round design. It is fitted with its original whale oil burner. These were made and advertised for use in steamboats of the period. The lamp measures 9 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches wide. The front measures 6 7/8 inches tall and 6 inches wide. It is in excellent condition for its age with only some lines in the brass cap on top and the font looks like it may have leaked. See photos. The lamp is nicely marked with the makers tag of William Porter's Son and Co. 194 Water Street New York. A similar example is pictured in William Porter's and Sons 1891 catalog and lists this one as the large size model. OLD Antique PORT SIDE Red Marine Nautical Maritime Lantern Lamp Inside bulb auth
This is an authentic original nautical/maritime portside glass lamp enclosure that many years ago was fashioned into a simply put. Fantastic lamp. There is a socket on the inside that illuminates the red glass and I must say that it looks incredible lit up. Obviously there is a socket at the top as well that will require the lamp shade of your choosing to complete the piece. I chose not to clean and scrub the piece so as to depict the age and authenticity more clearly. This is absolutely not a reproduction. I believe this starboard red lamp enclosure sat atop a piling somewhere in some waterway for who knows how many years. This lamp has been in storage for several decades and I am sad to have to part with it. This piece will make a stellar addition to any shore house or den or even office space. Antique Collectible Perkins Marine Maritime Nautical Lamp Lantern NO RESERVE
Perkins Marine Lantern/Lamp Mfrd by: Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation. Brooklyn, NY This is a highly collectible antique marine lantern/lamp. This was inherited from a grandparent and has been in my storage for at least a decade alone. I do not know the exact age but can only guess it is at least 50 years plus. This lantern has a chain attached to hang from a ceiling or other and takes a standard lightbulb. I do not know if this was the original configuration or it was modified like this. It has not been damaged by other modifications like similar lamps offered on eBay that are attached to bases or made into lamps. I have never polished this item so I assume it is brass and not copper. The dimensions are approximately 18 in. from the top of the handle to the bottom of base. It is 14 and 3/4 in. tall without the handle. The width is approximately ... more7 and 1/2" The condition is excellent except two minor spots. First. All of the rods that protect the glass are all present in place and not bent or otherwise damaged. However, the top of one of the rods(see photo) is loose. This will need to be re-brazed in place which I am told is a easy and cheap fix. The second spot is a small dent on the base of the lantern(see photo) This could be hammered out easily or left alone to show the lamps character. The glass is clear and intact but has a minor nick or two in a couple of the ridges which are not noticeable without searching for, but there are NO Cracks or other damage to the glob. Similar lamps on eBay have starting prices of almost $200 and go past $500 and do NOT include shipping. And they are missing parts and in far worse condition. Just the replacement glass alone goes for at a minimum of $50 to $100. I hope you get a great bargain on this beautiful antique. There is NO reserve and shipping is FREE! Good Luck!

Please look at the pictures carefully for anything I might have missed. This may seem like a lot but none of this detracts from the great vintage look! The date is also stamped on the chimney but cannot be read. Fully functional. Heavy gauge brass with copper rivets lantern complete with all its original parts. Used aboard a ship as a bulkhead, cabin, wardroom lamp/ lantern. Bulpitt and Sons LTD is imprinted on both the chimney and Bulpitt on the oil tank. Manufactured by famed English maker. Bulpitt and Sons, Birmingham, England. This is an extraordinary and rare item in excellent condition. The lantern measures 16" at the tallest chimney point and 20" with the wooden handle extended. 8" wide at the back, 5" deep. Weighs amost 11 lbs. The back is flat and boasts a huge brass clip ... morewith copper rivets for sturdy mounting. The front is three-sided with glass windows which are all intact, with no cracks or chips. The original brass burner is also in excellent condition with a wick, not sure it is the original. The stamp on the burner clasp reads Bulpitt. A brass reflector wall is behind the burner. The burner looks as though never used and slides out easily through the glass door on the right. There is also a slide on the side of the door that moves to expose an opening without having to open the door. The chimney top opens and the entire top is hinged to flip back allowing access to the chimney. It even still has the solid brass knob on the front lower corner. There are a few small dents consistent with its age. But it does not detract from the overall beauty of this gorgeous piece of British seafaring history. This would make a great piece to add to any maritime nautical collection.

Up for auction is a rare Vintage Copper& Brass Ships Navigation Light. Has a nice patina if you like that or should clean up nicely. This is electric and is supplied with a heavy duty cord. The top handle piece and vertical bars are brass. Along with the front plate, the rest is copper. The plate reads"All Around Green" BT 400" NK 77" The top handle reads"IP 56" On the glass are the words"IMCO R.I.N.A 5/1638-1648 DHI 09/03/76" Etched in the glass is BT13474(I'm thinking this is the ships inventory# Measures 13.5" tall including handle. Base is 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" Nice solid piece, almost 10 pounds. Glass is thick with no chips or cracks. Lights up beautifully. Small dent on one side at the bottom. Nice vintage STARBOARD Green WILCOX CRITTENDEN boat/ship navigation light. GREAT DISPLAY PIECE. This is about 9 3/4 long x 5 1/2 tall x 3 inches deep. There are no cracks in the glass and has normal age spots from years of use. Not sure what is inside there are brackets for mounting. What is seen is what will be shipped. Vintage Maritime Ship Light Spot Lamp Antique Marine Flood Fixture Ship Military
This auction is for one vintage ship spot light. We bought this fixture from a local estate. It belonged to a man that served in the Navy as a dentist. This was part of a large lot of vintage dental equipment that we purchased. We were told that it was from one of the many military ships that he practiced on. The fixture does work. There is a separate bulb socket mounted on the plate that supports the round light diffuser that is not wired. But the bulb in the center of the diffuser works(see pictures) Cosmetically, there are scratches and plenty of wear. It was painted black at some point and that paint is flaking and there is surface rust present(see pictures) It has been in storage for quite a while and it needs to be cleaned. The dimensions are 19.5" tall, 19.5" wide, and 15" deep. Please email me with any questions.

Great Matching Pair of Old. Marine Ship's Lantern Lamps. These look like Brass.and they also look like Bronze.I can't be sure. I DO know that the Handles are Bronze. I am estimating that these probably date back to Late World War I or Early World War II and may well have been used on military vessels and/or Merchant marine vessels. They are Electric and have Rotating Shutters both on the body and in the bottoms of the lamps. In this way, the light could be closed off both from the sides and the bottoms as need be.kind of an early manual rheostat. These both Measure 8" Tall to the top of the Threaded, Screw-in Lid. The lid, itself measures 3 3/4" Diameter and has a 1 1/2" tall Wire Pass-through apparatus. To the top of the extended handle measures 12" The Base of the lantern measures 5 1/2" Diameter. Each of ... morethese Weigh a hefty 8 3/4 Lbs. Both lids have the Original Removable Light Bulb Sockets. Condition: Number THREE(see pics) is 100% Complete in that it has the little handle sticking off of the side of the rotating shutter for ease of opening and closing the shutter. Number ONE is missing that little handle. That's the only difference. The bottom slide on Number ONE is bent a bit but because it's made of very thin brass. It can EASSILY be pressed back into shape.I'll leave that up to the winning bidder along with re-wiring them. I removed the old cut-off wire stumps that were in the housings and needed to go but I'm not going to re-wire them.that's for you to do. It's a no-brainer.stick the wire through the housing, stick the ends of your bared wire in the set screws.tighten and Voila! NOTE: I only took a picture of one of the interior of a lid to show the socket because both are identical and they only allow me 12 pics. Please.
