Antique Maritime Marine Perkins Ship Kerosene Red Globe Lamp Lantern Large 19"
This is an antique globe lantern with globe red glass. The fuel canister unscrews from the bottom. The internal parts appear to be complete. All parts fit together perfectly. Please see photos for details. Measures 19 3/4" tall x 12 1/2" across. The beautiful red glass that appears to be hand blown reads"Perkins 10" Frederick Perkins founded the Perkins Marine Lamp Company in the late 1800's in Brooklyn. His lamps were hand formed and soldered from brass. Copper and galvanized steel. About 1922, the trademark name PERKO was introduced and their products were marked with PERKO instead of PERKINS. For Auction: Rare Perko De-lite Maritime Red and Green Kerosene Lantern Lamp. From the 1939 Perko catalog. This is described as a"Perko De-Lite Combination Bow Light for boats under 26' Designed for boats going up and down a channel or river. The divider divides the red and green light and gives you a clue on which side you are passing on. Base is 5 1/2" by 5" 7" tall. Copper over metal. Original Condition- Red and Green Glass are good. Both doors open. The Green door latch is a little tight. But it does open. The red door latch is not original, and looks like it has been replaced. The kerosene can inside is empty. The Original wick is still included. The wicker turner still turns just fine. It won't raise the tope part of the wick. Vintage nautical Ship Lantern brass kerosene oil Maritime running light
Vintage nautical ships lantern. Kerosene/oil. The piece measures about 10.5" tall and has a green lens. Also included with the piece is a spare red lens. The piece is complete, except for a wick. You can see in one of the pictures the interior burner unit. Overall the piece is in good shape, some denting. No markings that I can find.

This Vintage Bulpitt lantern is complete but the isinglass or mica chimney is slightly damaged and the font is slightly off center.May have been dropped.This is an antique Bulpitt 1941 ceiling oil burning fixture or maritime oil lamp. It is made from iron, brass and porcelain and has a wonderful patina from age.the removable burner has lockable notches and knobs to hold it into place and a key to adjust the flame on the side which hangs on a chain.there is also a place on one of the two arms that the key can be held.The top opens on a brass hinge and locks shut at an ornate brass hinge, which has a removable pin held by a chain.It has normal ware from age and works great,the lamp alone measures about 13 1/2 inches up and down by 10 3/4 inches wide. Antique "Viking" Ship Nautical Maritime Oil Lamp Kerosene Lantern
Vintage Viking Kerosene anchor light. Not sure of the age but not antique. I see other Viking brand lanterns listed as true antiques but I don't believe they are or that this one is. Everything works. It stands 15" tall. 6 1/2" deep and 6 1/2" wide. The glass is all in good condition. No dents, breaks or flaws that I can see. The material seems to be all brass except the rolled edges and corners are brass rolled over a steel rod. This lantern is dirty and needs cleaning but i will leave that up to the purchaser, I am selling as found. This will make a beautiful display or actually use it! Up for auction is an awesome antique Neptune Brass Oil Lantern. This is a"ship" or"maritime" lantern. It measures approximately 15" tall(not including handle) and 6.5" square(not including fittings/external bars) The lid is closed by a latch and clip. Open this to expose the inner chimney. Which can be easily removed by pulling up on the two brass handles in opposing corners. The chimney is in like new condition and the wick raiser works like a dream. There are four outer glass panes that easily slide in and out for cleaning. They are crystal clear and in very good condition with no visible chips. The rivets on this lantern are copper. This is a very high quality lamp in excellent condition. I chose not to polish the brass/copper because some people like the"vintage" look. It won't break my heart if I don't sell this item. I'll keep it and rig it up to become the coolest porch light in the neighborhood. A balloon cage ship's deck lamp made by the Perkins Marine Lamp and Hardware Corporation of Brooklyn. New York. This company is still going strong- a 5th generation family business now based in Florida and under the name of Perko Inc. Perko is also the product name of this item. This lamp is about 22 inches tall. And the diameter of the cage is about 14 inches. The red glass ball is slightly larger than a volleyball and slightly less than a basketball. The fuel canister is in working order- the wick rises and falls with the turn of the handle. the vessel doesn't look to have any leaks. Check the condition report and the photos for the problems this lamp has. Brass parts as well as the majority ... moreof the metal being perhaps a galvanized aluminum or thin steel. Two sets of two loops on either side of the lamp- I would assume the loops are there so the lamp can be mounted to something. Antique ships hanging lantern from the days of the grand sailing ships. This metal steel or iron(its magnetic) lantern was produced by H.A.G. Helvig MANUFACTURERS NEW YORK as shown on the tag on bottom front. Features a 2 sided lantern with a rounded front. There is a red circular glass shield in front of the kerosene or oil lantern wick. Back door has a slide into the hole to lock in place. Lantern can be hung by the top of slid onto a post on the backside slot. This is a riveted and welded piece with no screws as would be in a modern style lantern. SOLID with NO rust outs of holes.
