Burner stamped THE NATIONAL MARINE LAMP CO. metal plate on the flat back side has a patent date of APRIL 1ST 1913. 10" tall to the top of the ring on top, 4 3/4" wide, 4 1/2" deep, galvanized metal. The burner is rusted through and is missing one of two metal tabs that held it in place. The metal lantern shows areas of surface rust but is solid and not flimsy in any way, ding on the cupola where the ring is mounted, both pieces of glass in good condition. It would be simple to electrify or even easier to place a battery op light inside and enjoy the colored glass. Offered for your consideration is this nice PAIR of kerosene oil lights. Made by the Marine-Division of the Artistic Brass and Bronze Works New York NY. Each light has a makers tag attached to the front of the base. Both lights look to be pretty complete with oil burner and chimneys still there. Sorry no wall mounting brackets. I am not sure if the wicks are still in them. The knob that raises and lowers the wick is very hard to turn on both lanterns. I think the wick mechanism needs to be cleaned. There is a very minor amount of corrosion on the tops of the bases. Each lantern measures about 18" tall to the top of the handle. Base measures about 7" across. This is a great Perkins"PERKO" Marine lantern or bow light. The lantern is about 18" tall counting the handle. The lens is heavy red glass and can be seen from all sides(360 degrees) The lantern works off of oil or kerosene. The reservoir and wick are in tack and working. The Perkins metal tag is still in place(too dark to get into photo) There are some small nicks and I can see what looks like brass under the black paint. I believe the paint is original to the lantern. The lantern is heavy. Over 7 pounds. Lanterns like this were used on large ships as a warning light or bow light. Vintage Industrial Age Light Spot Lamp Antique Marine Fixture Ship Military
This auction is for one vintage ship spot light. We bought this fixture from a local estate. It belonged to a man that served in the Navy as a dentist. This was part of a large lot of vintage dental equipment that we purchased. We were told that it was from one of the many military ships that he practiced on. The fixture does work. There is a separate bulb socket mounted on the plate that supports the round light diffuser that is not wired. But the bulb in the center of the diffuser works(see pictures) Cosmetically, there are scratches and plenty of wear. It was painted black at some point and that paint is flaking and there is surface rust present(see pictures) It has been in storage for quite a while and it needs to be cleaned. The dimensions are 19.5" tall, 19.5" wide, and 15" deep. Please email me with any questions.

This is an Old brass lamp- age unknown- has some dings and pitting on the body and the concave mirror in the back of lamp is cracked and about 25% of the mirror silver backing is flaked off. Mirror is labeled Corning Glass Works. See pictures. Weighs over 10 lbs- 9 1/2" diameter and about 10 1/2" long. Has 4 brass mounting bolts- 2 on each side that are included. Vintage Chrome Ship Boating Bow Stern Green Red Warning Light Marine Navigation
Up for auction is a vintage boating warning light recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition. I am unable to test this to see if it is operational or not, but certainly could be made to work. This light has a tear drop shape and would be mounted in the bow to determine port or starboard sides. It is consistent with 1950-60's era boats. This light would be great for reuse or as a nautical decorative accessory. There is pitting and paint on the chrome surface, as seen in the photos. The lens appears to be plastic. It has a nice deco appearance. I cannot find any markings or numbers. This light measures approximately 3 7/8" x 6 1/4" x 3 14" in size. A nice maritime piece.
