Antique Vintage Boat Nautical Marine Oil lamps Port Starboard Green Red Ship
Up for auction are two antique nautical port/ starboard oil lamps. I have yet to see a pair exactly like this with smooth glass. Unfortunately i do not see any markings on them. The body's of the lamp appear to be galvanized but i could be wrong. The lenses of these lamps are in very nice shape with no visable cracks. One is green and one is red. These lamps appear complete minus the one is missing a part out of the bottom as seen in the picture. The only other issue is that the top of the one lamp has a dent and the top has some minor damage. Other then that they would make a great display piece. These are being sold as is. antique Metal Signal Lantern, Marine? Perkins Marine & Hdw.Corp green/red glass
this is a very old metal signal light of some sort. Crumpled metal label on back reads PERKINS MARINE LAMP& HDW CORP. Brooklyn NY so I assume it is a boating or navigational lamp of some sort. 11 1/2" tall. About 6" wide and 9" deep with the flap that separates the two ridged glass lenses, one is green and one is red. Lenses are held in with copper or brass fittings and cap is same metal. The metal body is rusted out on about the bottom 3/4 inch and fits over somekind of lighting mechanism but I don't know what kind. this could be used for parts for another lamp of the same type or possibly restored, I don't know. back has a flat mount of some sort. don't know if it goes over an electric or gas light on a post, or how it was used. Vintage Wilcox and Crittenden Middletown Conn Marine Lantern from the early 1900s. I am not sure if a candle or an electric bulb was inserted in the bottom. Beautiful ruby red and emerald green fresnal glass lenses. Flat back with mounting bracket and ring handle. Height 8" and 5"across. As found condition. I have not cleaned or touched the finish.Lenses look to be in very good condition. Probably used on the Connecticut River or Long Island Sound. I would guess the red/green paint was added by the ship. One of the photos was taken with a flashlight inserted so you can visualize the glass color. This is a real piece of maritime history.

Light is a clamp on type that measures 14 1/2 inches long not counting the turn clamp on bottom, adding that it comes to 17 inches with clamp open, space between clamp is 1& 10 8ths inches. Circumfrance around the top glass part is 10 inches. Light is 8 inches from top to the flashlight end. The glass lenses are red and a blue green, the green lens looks blue when not turned on, when on it looks like a blue green. Light takes two D batteries and works great. Antique Perko Delite Marine Brass and Steel Bow Oil Lantern Red & Green
For sale is a nice old marine lamp-lantern made by Perko De Lite Lamp. This one is made of copper and what appears to be galvanized metal. It has the original oil lamp inside and a green and a red glass lens. They are both in good shape and not broken. Mounting bracket on back with original Perko brass tag. Hanging or holding loop on top. This Nautical Ship Lantern measures 10" x 5½" x 5" It is all original and uncleaned. The gentleman I got this from said he used to use the lantern in it when he camped as a kid. Inside you can see the carbon left from when the lamp was lit. I think if this was wired right. It would make a beautiful and different kind of light for a nautically decorated room.

Pair of Vintage Marine Marker Buoys with Red and Green KOPP lenses - Working
Offered for sale is a pair of Marine Marker Buoys with Red and Green lenses. They are used but as you can see by the pictures. The buoys are in very good condition and are operational. Ideal for driveway markers or decoration where an authentic nautical décor is desired such as waterfront, backyard, garden, office, pub, restaurant, etc. The lenses were manufactured by KOPP Glass of Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania. The“green” is more of a turquoise in the daylight but shows green when illuminated at night. The red is a nice dark ruby red. The Buoys are approximately 23” tall and 12” wide at the widest point. The lenses are 8 ¾” outside diameter x 7 ½” inside diameter x 7” high. They have 7"ribs" above and below the main centre beveled band. And are smooth on the inside. Ruggedly built from aluminum and stainless steel to ... morehandle the harsh marine environment. They should last a lifetime. There is no corrosion in the bulb socket or on any of the electronics. The bulbs are#1521 10.3V 5/5W. Very nice set of vintage lanterns. In decent shape. A very few minor blemishes. One has a green bulb and the other has a red one. Made of copper or tin. Do not think they are brass. Very light weight. On the lanterns"Starboard" and"Port" are etched. Do not know much about these. They are old and say Hong Kong on the bottoms. No other markings. I only came across two other sets identical to these online. That where sold in the past. So they are rare. They have been in storage for a few years so are in very good condition. Vtg Perkins PERKO Marine Boat Lamp Starboard Bow Green Red Glass Light Lantern
This listing is for a vintage Perkins PERKO Marine boat Kerosene Lamp. Finding one in better condition than this one will be a challenge. The lamp is made of Galvanized metal and has a Brass Top/Finial and the Kerosene lights hardware is made of Brass. The Dark Green and red lens are made of Glass and are chip and damage free. The design of this lamp is different than most others. The inside hardware is accessible from the bottom of the lamp only. It has ingenious spring loaded tabs of each side. If you want to pull out the hardware you simply squeeze the tabs and pull the hardware out. As you can see from the photo's the Brass hardware is in excellent condition and includes what is probably the original wick.I think this lamp has spent most of it's life indoors. The outside Galvanized Metal is also in excellent condition. Nothing ... moreis loose. All corners etc very tight construction. The top finial piece with hanging loop is made of Brass. I did not clean this. Left the original patina. I did however clean the Brass Perkins/ Perko identification tag because I could not read what it says. Vintage Chrome Ship Boating Bow Stern Green Red Warning Light Marine Navigation
Up for auction is a vintage boating warning light recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition. I am unable to test this to see if it is operational or not, but certainly could be made to work. This light has a tear drop shape and would be mounted in the bow to determine port or starboard sides. It is consistent with 1950-60's era boats. This light would be great for reuse or as a nautical decorative accessory. There is pitting and paint on the chrome surface, as seen in the photos. The lens appears to be plastic. It has a nice deco appearance. I cannot find any markings or numbers. This light measures approximately 3 7/8" x 6 1/4" x 3 14" in size. A nice maritime piece. It is dented on back of lamp and missing one screw. it appears to be adjustable. I have not truly cleaned this item. The base is almost 4 1/2" in diameter and is stamped. S&J. This is STEELE& JOHNSON(boat,house) I'm not sure what year it was made(30's,40's? although it is from an old estate. the height is about 7" at that angle. I don't know if it could be wired? They are in good condition and measure approx. 8" high and 5.5" on each side and 8" across the top. The lamps are brass with glass lenses- red and green. The Perko stamp is on a back panel. Though hard to read. The lamps open by sliding down a back panel. The electrical connection has a brass cover and chain. There are no cracks or chips in the heavy glass.
