Antique whale oil lamp lantern light onion globe silver plated BIG nautical
This incredible light is from an old Wellesley MA estate. It stands about 20" tall to the top of the fixed ring on the top of the heat cage. The globe is around 10" in diameter. The metal surfaces are silver plated and in need of polishing. The base has some denting as shown. The font is original but the burner is missing. The light was electrified at some point but it would be easy enough to remove those parts. A very rare light. Thanks for looking.

VINTAGE COPPER HANGING NAVIGATION LIGHT OIL LAMP NAUTICAL
Offered for sale is a vintage nautical navigation light. It has an internal. And removable ABCO oil lamp. I believe that it is made from copper and solder-joined. The only markings on it are on the oil lamp adjuster. ABCO 1) The chimney has a swivel top to allow access to the lamp globe. Offered for your consideration is this nice PAIR of kerosene oil lights. Made by the Marine-Division of the Artistic Brass and Bronze Works New York NY. Each light has a makers tag attached to the front of the base. Both lights look to be pretty complete with oil burner and chimneys still there. Sorry no wall mounting brackets. I am not sure if the wicks are still in them. The knob that raises and lowers the wick is very hard to turn on both lanterns. I think the wick mechanism needs to be cleaned. There is a very minor amount of corrosion on the tops of the bases. Each lantern measures about 18" tall to the top of the handle. Base measures about 7" across. Old Vintage Brass Cargo Ship Boat Nautical Maritime Oil Wedge Lantern Light
Up for sale is a beautiful old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. This is a really cool old lantern. And it was very well made. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. The lantern is very dusty& dirty, and could use a good cleaning, but structurally it appears to be fine, with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable lantern!

Vintage Circa WW II Era Royal Navy Binnacle Oil or Kerosene Lamp Compass Light. The piece appears complete. It has wear, is dusty/dirty, lite rust a few tiny dings& some scratches. Overall it looks great for its age. Some burner parts look to be copper, brass arm that lifts,and I think reflector is zinc with the largest part being tin or steel. My best guess its tin. It measures about 6-1/4"s long about 5-1/2"s wide about 5-7/8th"s tall. This would be for sliding into a compass binnacle for lighting up the compass without illumintating the bridge. When we were researching this on the internet we found that the Royal Navy contracted to make these under a license with Alderson& Gyde, PLAYMIT and BEC.

Vintage Brass Nautical / Train Light Oil Lantern / Lamp
Here is a brass oil lamp marked made in England as it the burner it looks to be in very good condition. It may be off of a ship or train. It has a bracket to mount it to a bulkhead or a wall that is with it. Just mount the bracket to the bulkhead or wall and the lamp just slides into the bracket so it can removed to refuel the light. You can also just remove the burner and tank to refuel the lamp.The lamp is approximately 12" tall by 4 3/4" deep by 6 5/8"wide. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. For auction is an old oil lamp. Very unusual one, I think. I have not been able to figure out too much about it. It has some age though. The bottom is weighted, which I was thinking might indicate that it was to be used on a boat or ship. The only marking is on the knob and it has an R and V on each side of a anchor. I have had this a few years in my basement bar. But changing themes and it is time to let it go. I am not sure it is functional, but the way it is made I would expect that it might be. It still displays very nicely. The center cap in the top flips up and it also opens at the base of the top as well. There is an oil lamp inside that does have the wick. In the center there is a very thick ribbed glass lens that has no cracks. There is a brass anchor hook on the top and the bottom. No dents, nice vintage condition. Here is a brass oil lamp is marked but is written in German I think please see photos.the The lamp looks to be in very good condition. It may be off of a ship or train. It has a bracket to mount it to a bulkhead or a wall that is with it. Just mount the bracket to the bulkhead or wall and the lamp just slides into the bracket so it can removed to refuel the light. Antique ships hanging lantern from the days of the grand sailing ships. This metal steel or iron(its magnetic) lantern was produced by H.A.G. Helvig MANUFACTURERS NEW YORK as shown on the tag on bottom front. Features a 2 sided lantern with a rounded front. There is a red circular glass shield in front of the kerosene or oil lantern wick. Back door has a slide into the hole to lock in place. Lantern can be hung by the top of slid onto a post on the backside slot. This is a riveted and welded piece with no screws as would be in a modern style lantern. SOLID with NO rust outs of holes. Red color is used in navigation to designate the port(left) side of a vessel. Removeable DIETZ CONVEX oil lantern from NEW YORK. Top removes easily to refill and change the wick.

Here is a vintage nautical oil lamp labeled Anchor It is in good condition with some overall weathering to the copper. The lamp is made of copper with brass hardware and has a mint green glass globe.
