Measures about 16" high(including the handle) x 6" wide. Weight is 8 pounds. To help give an idea of scale. In the photos I put the light next to a regular size coffee cup. There are no markings on this light that I can find. There has been no cleaning or restoration done to this light, it has quite a bit of tarnish and natural patina. There is a small dent on the top but no other dents. One of the support braces has come loose(see photo#11) The wiring is ancient and not useable. One of the lenses has a crack that runs about a third of the way up the lens(see photo#12)there are no other cracks and no chips on either of the lenses. I have sold many oil lamps on ebay. I looked at completed sold and current ebay Perko Lamps and did not see one like this. Heavy duty glass-globe cage. Working hinge no issues that I can see. Vintage Brass Nautical / Train Light Oil Lantern / Lamp
Here is a brass oil lamp marked made in England as it the burner it looks to be in very good condition. It may be off of a ship or train. It has a bracket to mount it to a bulkhead or a wall that is with it. Just mount the bracket to the bulkhead or wall and the lamp just slides into the bracket so it can removed to refuel the light. You can also just remove the burner and tank to refuel the lamp.The lamp is approximately 12" tall by 4 3/4" deep by 6 5/8"wide. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. This is a great Perkins"PERKO" Marine lantern or bow light. The lantern is about 18" tall counting the handle. The lens is heavy red glass and can be seen from all sides(360 degrees) The lantern works off of oil or kerosene. The reservoir and wick are in tack and working. The Perkins metal tag is still in place(too dark to get into photo) There are some small nicks and I can see what looks like brass under the black paint. Up for sale is a beautiful pair of old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. These are really fine old lanterns. And very well made. The rivets are copper. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" with the handle up they measure 22 1/2" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. They are in excellent condition with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable pair of lanterns!

For auction is an old oil lamp. Very unusual one, I think. I have not been able to figure out too much about it. It has some age though. The bottom is weighted, which I was thinking might indicate that it was to be used on a boat or ship. The only marking is on the knob and it has an R and V on each side of a anchor. I have had this a few years in my basement bar. But changing themes and it is time to let it go. I am not sure it is functional, but the way it is made I would expect that it might be. No Reserve on this Antique Maritime Nautical Lamp. This is an oil or Kerosene Lamp. The top lifts open and inside the oil/kerosene and wick container; easily lifts out for refilling. The lamp is missing one of the round"brackets( There are two on one side and only one on the other. Also has been dented on the bottom on the rear side(see pictures) It stands perfectly and the dent does not effect the function. Actually it does not look to challenging to repair? The Lamp looks to be made of solid copper and has developed a rich patina, but being copper I am sure this can be polished to look like new if that fits your taste. Vtg Perkins PERKO Marine Boat Lamp Starboard Bow Green Red Glass Light Lantern
This listing is for a vintage Perkins PERKO Marine boat Kerosene Lamp. Finding one in better condition than this one will be a challenge. The lamp is made of Galvanized metal and has a Brass Top/Finial and the Kerosene lights hardware is made of Brass. The Dark Green and red lens are made of Glass and are chip and damage free. The design of this lamp is different than most others. The inside hardware is accessible from the bottom of the lamp only. It has ingenious spring loaded tabs of each side. If you want to pull out the hardware you simply squeeze the tabs and pull the hardware out. As you can see from the photo's the Brass hardware is in excellent condition and includes what is probably the original wick.I think this lamp has spent most of it's life indoors. The outside Galvanized Metal is also in excellent condition. Nothing ... moreis loose. All corners etc very tight construction. The top finial piece with hanging loop is made of Brass. I did not clean this. Left the original patina. I did however clean the Brass Perkins/ Perko identification tag because I could not read what it says. Wear and use Measures approximately 23" tall NOTICE: This light has been re-wired to plug into household outlet The bulb is original- I also have a spare When plugged in this light flashes about every 3 seconds- it is not like a regular lamp and bulb with a steady stream of light Red paint IS NOT original- it does have some chips in the paint- see pictures# 5 and# 6 The finish was not sanded before red paint was applied. Up for auction we have a Nautical Lantern/Cargo Light. Plaque on the front reads Cargo Light No. 3954 Great Britain 1939. This lantern has been converted from an oil burning lamp to a 3-level brightness touch activated electric lamp. Light is approx 15' tall. 9' wide, 6 1/2' deep, and weights approx 9.4 pounds. I have not cleaned the lamp because it gives it a better look. Lantern is in very good shape, only showing normal age for a piece like this. Offered as is. This light is very big. It measures 22" to the top of the handle. 9" wide and 7.5" deep. Its made if mostly copper with brass accents. The front glads is beveled. All the glass is in great shape.
