Antique Brass Nautical Lantern lamp Lovell 17" tall
Measures 17 inches tall and 12 inches wide and is in great condition. Maybe brass or brass and copper. Not sure. There is nothing inside but there is a little fitting on the side of the unit that would allow one to run wires in, one could simply set a lamp inside and run the courd out. Very heavy item.

19th Century Riverboat / Steamship Brass Cabin Lantern or Lamp
Offered is an original. 1800's era steamboat cabin lamp. I got this years ago from a ship salvage worker who told me he took it off of a 19th century Sacramento River paddle wheeler in the delta area. It looks to have the original rippled glass globe and the brass has nice patina. Looks like someone tried to electrify it at some point in it's life. It has a very neat look to it, and would be great displayed along other ocean liner, sailing ship, or whaling/ maritime artifacts. Measures approx: 10.5" tall x 8" wide at the wire globe guard. Vintage 1920's maritime brass oil burning ships lantern. I have not polished it but it seems to be in great condition. There is no corrosion to the brass and the glass sides and chimney have no chips or cracks and there is just a small dent on the top. It is missing the wick. Please look at pictures closely. I am not an expert to this type nautical maritime lamp. I will try my best to describe this lamp. Don't see any marking. Stand 8" in high and about 5" widest from handle to handle. Lamp is rounded, electric,complete with the thick glass cover. I am thinking that this lamp was possibly use along the harbor. The metal casing is intact and possibly brass/copper? Here is a great vintage Perko port side ship lantern. It has a couple of dings and dents but still shows well. It also has a small chip in red lens at the top. Antique Brass/Copper Lantern Display Piece
I don't know a lot about this piece. I know its Brass or Copper or both, I know its old, and its kind of flimsy. The solder joint on the top hinge for the door has come loose, the hinge is intact but it needs to be reattached to the body. The door stays closed with the latch, and it has 3 intact glass panels, a half circle handle, and a standard size candle holder inside. For what its worth, it works, I would say this is more of a decoration at this point then a functional lantern. It is old and dusty, and I am not cleaning it, it is roughly 7.25" tall without the handle, and each side is about 3.25" across, or deep. U.S. shipping to the lower 48, PayPal, and payment is due within 48 hours of auction end. It will be packaged safely in bubble wrap. The candle has been in there for at least 10 years and goes with the lantern.

Vtg Copper Sealine Sea Line Hanging Ship Nautical Fresnel Type Lens Oil Lantern
This is the classic solid copper anchor lamp used on sailing ships for hundreds of years. The lamp is hand machined in pure heavy-gauge copper with brass trim. Comes with burner and a bit of wick. The Fresnel style lens is made to magnify the oil lamp light to be visible for 20 nautical miles. The Anchor lamp is named for it's use. A 360 o white light is required to be displayed at the highest point(the tallest mast) on all vessels at anchor or under way at night. These oil burning lanterns were made to be lit. Hoisted to the top of the mast with one rope tied to the handle and a 2nd rope tied to the bottom bail to keep it from swaying as the ship rolls with the sea. A very nice lamp. Ready to use. This lamp measures approx. 10" high x 5" wide.

This is a beautiful copper and brass kerosine anchor light with a nice aged patina. It is in is in excellent condition. There are no dents. Cracks or missing parts. Antique whale oil lamp lantern light onion globe silver plated BIG nautical
This incredible light is from an old Wellesley MA estate. It stands about 20" tall to the top of the fixed ring on the top of the heat cage. The globe is around 10" in diameter. The metal surfaces are silver plated and in need of polishing. The base has some denting as shown. The font is original but the burner is missing. The light was electrified at some point but it would be easy enough to remove those parts. A very rare light. Thanks for looking.

F H LOVELL& CO.Antique Brass Nautical Ships Lantern late 1800's lamp. This lantern looks great! The glass is thick and very old. There are no flaws.Chips or cracks in the glass. I was going to electrify this lantern but it would not go with any of our other decor.Just a couple of slight dents in the brass from use. Right now there is no means by which to light this lantern. I dropped in a light bulb to show off the color of the glass when illuminated. This is a great piece of history. F H Lovell started around the civil war era. It made marine lanterns primarily. By the early 1920's the name was changed because the company merged with a railroad lantern company so this lantern was most likely manufactured around 1880. The lantern is 10 inches tall(14 inches tall with handle) and the width is 9 inches in diameter.

This interesting old lamp is most likely from the early part of the 20th Century. Perhaps before. It looks as though this piece has all its necessary components including a key, at one the end of the original chain, in order to control light(it moves the wick up and down) Even the wick looks like it would most likely work with a bit of fuel. There is no key available for the front hole(not sure what that one does, see last photo) Definitely a charming piece for the just the right decor. Vintage National Marine Lamp Co. # 11 Boat Signal Lantern
This Handheld Oil Burning Boat Signal Lantern is in fairly good condition considering its age. Has the scratches that I would expect to see. The wick is new in the burner which leads me to believe it was replaced because the interior does have some burn marks from use. The lens is in great shape and spring loaded action is as stiff as ever. Probably made between 1900- 1950 and the exact date of manufacture is unknown to me. Stands 9" tall and has about a 3 1/2" diameter.

Antique Authentic Red Port-Side Ship Lantern/Lamp, Nice
This ship lantern has red lens which is in good shape; no noted chips or cracks. The bottom opens where the"oil lamp" was kept. This antique lantern has not been restored; rather. It is in its natural state after many years of use. The lantern is likely handmade/handcrafted and I would say it is from the early 20th century. I believe it is made of tinned iron and brass. The original brass oil/kerosene burner is in great original condition. I am unsure whether this lantern is a Perko marine lamp; it is unmarked from what I could determine. The port-side light was likely used on small river and harbor craft such as water taxis or tug boats. It measures approximately 10.25" in height to the top of the ring; 6" in width at the widest point; and, 4.5" in depth. The lantern is shaped to fit in a corner; there is a hanging ... moremount on one rear side. Please look at the photos I have attached. Vintage ship light in galvanized metal with green lens. The light is in overall good condition- it has more rust stains than rust. I wiped it down but it is dirty. Especially on the inside. The mirrors on the inside are intact, but dirty. See photo#7. The lens is thick plastic- it has a small chip at the top left(photo#11) To the right of the chip looks like a crack but I couldn't find any fracture. This is a true barn find. Large 33" tall 15"wide and 8" deep Nautical ship barometer desk lamp. The ships wheel turns. The lantern on the right also lights up. Made in England this is an extremely rare find. Selling as found with all original dust. Did not put bulbs in and test but seems simple enough for buyer to add. Do not have the original shade but does have the fennel on top to mount one. The photos are the best description. Marine Oil lamp from old port,stabord, lantern with flange burner & chimney
You are bidding on the oil lamp only! Not the lantern shown in the last pitcher. The picture of the lantern was borrowed from another dealer(with his permission) to show what the lantern that it came out of looked like. The Old Marine oil lamp is in mint condition. It is signed PERKO on the bottom of the lamp. The burner is signed Made in the USA and I think Miller but it is very hard to read. The rod going across the bottom Pick# 3 is to screw and lock the lamp in place in the lantern. The ends of the rod Pick#4 sticking out on either side are used to lock the lamp into the lantern. The lamp is 3 3/4" high 5 1/2" to the top of the burner 10 3/4" to thr top of the chimney and 4" in diameter. The burner will screw into a standard $2 collar. This antique maritime ship's lantern is copper. The lamp has two colored glass globes in the front. There is a door on the back. For easy access to the inside. This lantern has a socket and bulb inside, on a slide out tray, but there is no cord. The lantern is 9 1/2" high, about 5 1/2" wide and 4 3/4" front to back. Lamps and Lighting. Antique primitive 1890 maritime ships lantern 18 3/4" tall. Lantern alone is 12 1/2" x 9" wide. Painted green, original color. Metal looks like galvanized tin, with iron cage and handle. Has a beautiful red glass globe aproximately 7" in diameter. It has the kerosene burner intact. Check all my pictures. Real nice piece. Hanging in my Country Store in Milford CT for 45 years. Getting rid of everything as I'm 74) NO rust other than light oxidation on unpainted surfaces. RARE Antique Nautical Marine Oil Lantern-Three Bullseye Lens-Red-Green-Clear
This auction is for a rare nautical oil lantern or lamp form the mid to late 1800's. These lanterns were used on smaller vessels such as lighthouse service launches. Fishing boats, etc. It has 3 bullseye lens. Red, green, and clear. The lantern is made of galvanized tin. The round top is brass. The lantern is complete with the original font burner. There is a handle and a mounting bracket on the back. The wire door latch mechanism works well. The lantern is 8 1/4 inches in height.The lantern is in all original as found, uncleaned condition with great patina. No holes. Just a few minor rust spots but no pitting. There is a bend on one of the top corners, A gentle dent in the brass top. The red lens has 3 shallow edge chips as shown.No cracks. Overall a very nice and rare antique nautical lamp. Bulpitt& Sons Solid Brass Nautical Maritime Ship Oil Lantern all original BULPITT& SONS BIRMINGHAM Is embossed on the chimney of the lantern. But barely legible due to a light stamp. The date is also stamped on the chimney but cannot be read. Fully functional. Heavy gauge brass with copper rivets lantern complete with all its original parts. Used aboard a ship as a bulkhead, cabin, wardroom lamp/ lantern. Bulpitt and Sons LTD is imprinted on both the chimney and Bulpitt on the oil tank. Manufactured by famed English maker. Bulpitt and Sons, Birmingham, England. This is an extraordinary and rare item in excellent condition. The lantern measures 16" at the tallest chimney point and 20" with the wooden handle extended. 8" wide at the back, 5" deep. Weighs amost 11 lbs. The back is flat and boasts a huge brass clip ... morewith copper rivets for sturdy mounting. The front is three-sided with glass windows which are all intact, with no cracks or chips. The original brass burner is also in excellent condition with a wick, not sure it is the original. The stamp on the burner clasp reads Bulpitt. A brass reflector wall is behind the burner. The burner looks as though never used and slides out easily through the glass door on the right. There is also a slide on the side of the door that moves to expose an opening without having to open the door. The chimney top opens and the entire top is hinged to flip back allowing access to the chimney. It even still has the solid brass knob on the front lower corner. There are a few small dents consistent with its age. But it does not detract from the overall beauty of this gorgeous piece of British seafaring history. This would make a great piece to add to any maritime nautical collection.

This Rare Perko Globe lantern needs some solder and a couple of pieces of wire to hold it together but it has the rarerest part.The Perkins# 8 red globe without any cracks or chips.The lantern is made of galvanized steel with a brass top and bottom and was made from about 1916-1925.It is also called the Signal Lantern or as a general light.We do not have a burner and it has been electrified but it is a very early model.It measures 15" tall X 10" in diameter on the outside wire and 8" in diameter on the shade.It is listed as Rare in my lantern book. Antique Triplex Maritime Ships Lantern The lantern is marked with the Triplex logo and Pat'd 1910. On the other side it is marked Geo B Carpenter& Co Chicago. It definitely shows it's age. There are some dents and dings in the metal. The glass ridges on the lantern are chipped in some places. There is a drop of what appears to be white paint on the top section of the lantern. It definitely has that rustic charm. It stands 12" tall not counting the ring on top. The base is about 5.75" across. It has not been used as a lantern for quite some time.
