Up for sale a vintage copper& brass maritime ship lamp with a green glass globe. The majority of the metal is copper although the back may be brass. The globe is partial and is sealed inside. The case is 14 inches tall measuring to the top of the handle.The round portion with the globe is 8 inches in diameter and the base portion is 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches square. This has been wired so the light is in good working order. There is a brass plate on the outside(pictured) it shows Starboard RT 400 NK 77. The globe is marked with a triangle with GGG inside it,also it shows BT43698 and HI 09/03/76 HI 09/01/81. The globe glass is in good shape. Antique Vintage Ship Cabin Tabletop Lamp With Bell Rare Nice Works
This is a genuine old nautical tabletop bell lamp that was designed not to turnover in rough seas. It also has a working bell at the top. I suppose the bell would ring as the seas became rough enough to rock the lamp around. Thus waking the sleeping occupant of the cabin and alerting them to the conditions(just a guess on my part) Either way. This is one cool and rare old lamp! It appears to be in original condition. The cord is old and frayed and probably should be changed. But I did not want to alter the originality. The lamp does work. As you can see in the photos. It has a switch on one side. Frosted glass shade and a bell on the top. You can't knock this thing over! It just rolls until it comes back to its upright position. Please review the detailed listing photos. Here for auction is a wonderful vintage Marine boat lamp. I believe this to be run on kerosene. Has the mounting bracket that screws to the wall. Has a double swivel deal that will keep it straight while the boat is rocking. The wick does not appear to have been burned so I don't know if the wick is new or if this has just never been fired. It is all brass and has a great weight to it. Stands approx 5.5" tall and 4.75" side to side. The swivel arm has a great design to it as shown. There are scratches and tarnish to the metal and a ding that I can see on the side. This may have has a glass globe at some point but that is no longer here if it did. Pair of Vintage Antique Brass Perko Marine Ship Oil Lamp Lanterns Port Starboard
This listing is for a pair of Vintage Antique Perko Nautical Marine Ship Port and Starboard Oil Lamp Lanterns. Both lanterns are marked Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Perko Brooklyn. NY, USA. The lanterns are in good shape for their age and the lanterns themselves stand about 9 inches tall. They do have some dents and dings towards the tops of the lanterns but the glass has no cracks and is in good shape. They do have alot of oxidation, minor on the outside and major on the inside. I was not going to clean them because I did not want to discolor them but they will hopefully clean up very nicely if cleaned properly. In the last picture you can see one hinge is slightly bent so it is a little harder to close and open that side of the lantern but each opening on the lanterns do lock. These were hanging on the inside of a house from probably the 80's or 90's. Made in Taiwan. Approximately 10" tall. And 3 1/2" across the base. I don't think these have ever been polished. The top of them has more rust or dullness than the rest of it. One is numbered 20535 and the other is 20669. Each weighs about 4 pounds with the gimbal. Rewired with reproduction green cloth covered cord with inline switch. Very good condition with minor dents and scratches, when fully extended the piece dips slightly(it could be tightened I think) The sconce has about 10 feet of wire to plug into an outlet, but it could be easily wired directly into the wall.
