Burner stamped THE NATIONAL MARINE LAMP CO. metal plate on the flat back side has a patent date of APRIL 1ST 1913. 10" tall to the top of the ring on top, 4 3/4" wide, 4 1/2" deep, galvanized metal. The burner is rusted through and is missing one of two metal tabs that held it in place. The metal lantern shows areas of surface rust but is solid and not flimsy in any way, ding on the cupola where the ring is mounted, both pieces of glass in good condition. It would be simple to electrify or even easier to place a battery op light inside and enjoy the colored glass. Great Pair Large WW2 Perkins Perko Marine& Hardware Lamp Co. Port& Starboard This is a great pair of large Perko WW2 Ships Port& Starboard lamps as shown. These came from an estate here in Slocum. RI, and they were mounted on a U.S. ship that a member of the family was employed on during the war. I cannot verify this, just going by what I was told. Anyway, they have been electrified some time ago, and they are wired together so they both light together. They are quite large, measuring 22" tall, x 10" x 10" x 15" from point to point of the front rounded part. There is a small chip on the bottom edge of the red lense, although the picture makes it look a lot bigger. No cracks or hairlines on either lense. Both lenses are quite heavy duty glass, and look great lit up. Shipping weight will be about 30-lbs.

Vintage Very Large"Perko" Ship Lamps Port& Starboard Red& Green Fresnel Matched Pair Maritime Marine Boat Lamps/Lanterns Here's a matched pair of nautical lamps made by Perko of Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Brooklyn N.Y. U.S.A. The red and green fresnel lenses are in excellent conditions with some great bubbles from when the glass was formed. They are made of galvanized sheet metal with brass or copper tops and openings on the bottom. The galvanized metal is very solid with very little areas of surface rust. nothing major. These are original vintage Lamps dating from somewhere between the 1930's to the 60's based on their websites timeline. Actual manufacture date is unknown. The lamps are 18" tall. 22" tall with the handle extended, 10" wide and 18" across the front. I purchased ... morethese lamps 28 years ago with the intention of wiring them. They've been carefully stored indoors waiting for the project to begin. I never got around to wiring them. It's time to pass them along to a new owner. Bulbs and wiring or burners are not included. Lighted Bulbs were placed inside the lamps temporarily for photographic purposes to show how the lamps may look when illuminated. The gas burners weren't with them when I acquired them. These lamps would look great mounted at a pier. Dock or a boathouse. was initially known as Perkins Marine Lamp. Inc. Large Antique Nautical Lantern Vintage 5-way Green Ship Lamp Port& Starboard Used- Antique Nautical Lantern This lantern has some discoloration around glass and on seams. Pictures reflect a bent spot along one of the upper seams. Approximate size is 14.5" tall including carry handle by 9" wide. This lantern has NOT been converted to an electrical light. I have included the lighted pictures so you can see the brilliance of the green glass. Glass does not have any cracks or major scratches in them. The glass does not have any marks in the glass, other than what appears to be consistent with how glass was made during that time. I do not know the exact age of this lantern. However it is the only one I have seen with 5 semi-globe sections. I was going to convert this Kerosene/oil lamp into a lighted lamp and clean it up for my nautical ... morethemed room, but never got around to it. I now am moving and liquidating some of my stuff. I did pay quit a bit for this lamp due to its unusualness and size, however I am willing to take any reasonable offers. This would be a great old kerosene o conversion lantern to put in a parlor, back porch, sitting room or make great lighting for movie night. I prefer the green over your normal red port lights because it is a little softer and not as aggressive in nature depending on your usage or if you decide to use it for a child's night lantern for sleeping. I don't know anything about these as they were found in an estate clean out. I was told they are Perko lamps but found no markings- please do your own homework. Both look to have been rewired based on the 12v sticker inside. Now they have 110v wiring, one is missing a plug. Look to be made out of brass and galvanized, and the exterior of the galvanized is painted a flat black. Both lenses appear to be in great shape and are stamped'Perkins C/L 3 Side' and'FIC259 Mould No 3' They are approx 12" x 6" x 6" each and weigh about 3 3/4 lbs each. Gorgeous Port Light Lantern. Lantern measures approx. 10 inches tall(not counting the pail 3.5" type handle) by 7 inches wide by 6 inches deep. I have sold a half dozen nautical lamps and this is by far the fairest of them all.inside 7 out. It has a beautiful patina. Only one very small dent, no scratching or chips. There are two layers of curved glass.the exterior glass(Barcelona Glass) is clear and a red internal curved piece. Both pieces excellent.no chips or cracks There is an opening. Surrounded by a rubber gasket, going into the lamp. Not sure what it is for, maybe a lead light. I placed a small light in the body to show what this lamp can look like. Could be electrified quite easily with the hole already there. Great looking lamp. Would look great all lit up out on a boat dock. By the pool or on a patio. Could be hung, attached ... moreto a wall bracket or just set on a shelf. Excellent Condition. There is some type of mounting bracket on backside. The lid is also very tight with solid hinges. There are 4 little feet on bottom with holes for air circulation. Would appreciate any info you might have as to maker as there is no hallmark on the lamp. Believe it's early 1900's. Up for sale a vintage copper& brass maritime ship lamp with a green glass globe. The majority of the metal is copper although the back may be brass. And the plate is brass. This is a full red glass globe. The case is 14 inches tall measuring to the top of the handle,the round portion with the globe is 8 inches in diameter and the base portion is 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches square. This has been wired so the light is in good working order. There is a brass plate on the outside(pictured) it shows Port Round Red. The globe is marked with a triangle with GGG inside it and has a ships anchor, also it shows BT43557 and BHI 09/03/76 BHI 09/01/81. This listing is for a pair of Vintage Antique Perko Nautical Marine Ship Port and Starboard Oil Lamp Lanterns. Both lanterns are marked Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Perko Brooklyn. NY, USA. The lanterns are in good shape for their age and the lanterns themselves stand about 9 inches tall. They do have some dents and dings towards the tops of the lanterns but the glass has no cracks and is in good shape. They do have alot of oxidation, minor on the outside and major on the inside. I was not going to clean them because I did not want to discolor them but they will hopefully clean up very nicely if cleaned properly. In the last picture you can see one hinge is slightly bent so it is a little harder to close and open that side of the lantern but each opening on the lanterns do lock.
