Vintage Perko De-Lite Ship's Running Lamp - Port Starboard Combination
This is a vintage Perko De-Lite running lamp with red and green ribbed glass. It has a dividing plate between the port and starboard lenses. Inside there is a brass oil lantern- in very good condition- minimal interior rust- made by Simplex. It still has the wick- also in good condition. Behind the oil lantern there is a socket for a light bulb(6 or maybe 12 volt) The access doors are brass- the body is galvanized. The ring at the top does move easily- latches on doors also work great. Measurements approx. 5" wide x 5" deep x 9 1/2" tall- not including divider on the front or ring on top- just lamp itself. Vintage Starboard Ship Kerosene Lantern Light Lamp Port Blue Glass Brass 21" BIG
Vintage ship's starboard lantern in a unique tri-plex shape. One of the largest I've seen at 21" from base to finial. 11" x 11" square with the typical curved front. Thick blue glass(not an interchangeable light filter) with horizontal grooves. Brass trim and a brass finial with hanging ring. Great"keyhole" vent holes throughout. Suffers from an untidy paint job and is in need of some updating. Missing original kerosene lamp and has been converted with a light socket. Needs new electrical cord. Brass has a lovely patina and there is still some vintage kerosene soot on the inside of this lamp. There is a small spot on the bottom by a switch of some sort that corrosion has eaten through the metal. But it's repairable and not endemic to the rest of the lantern. Glass is free of cracks or chips.

The burner is rusted through and is missing one of two metal tabs that held it in place. The metal lantern shows areas of surface rust but is solid and not flimsy in any way, ding on the cupola where the ring is mounted, both pieces of glass in good condition. Great Pair Large WW2 Perkins Perko Marine& Hardware Lamp Co. Port& Starboard This is a great pair of large Perko WW2 Ships Port& Starboard lamps as shown. These came from an estate here in Slocum. RI, and they were mounted on a U.S. ship that a member of the family was employed on during the war. I cannot verify this, just going by what I was told. Anyway, they have been electrified some time ago, and they are wired together so they both light together. They are quite large, measuring 22" tall, x 10" x 10" x 15" from point to point of the front rounded part. Vintage Very Large"Perko" Ship Lamps Port& Starboard Red& Green Fresnel Matched Pair Maritime Marine Boat Lamps/Lanterns Here's a matched pair of nautical lamps made by Perko of Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Brooklyn N.Y. U.S.A. The red and green fresnel lenses are in excellent conditions with some great bubbles from when the glass was formed. They are made of galvanized sheet metal with brass or copper tops and openings on the bottom. The galvanized metal is very solid with very little areas of surface rust. nothing major. These are original vintage Lamps dating from somewhere between the 1930's to the 60's based on their websites timeline. Actual manufacture date is unknown. The lamps are 18" tall. 22" tall with the handle extended, 10" wide and 18" across the front. I purchased ... morethese lamps 28 years ago with the intention of wiring them. They've been carefully stored indoors waiting for the project to begin. I never got around to wiring them. It's time to pass them along to a new owner. Bulbs and wiring or burners are not included. Lighted Bulbs were placed inside the lamps temporarily for photographic purposes to show how the lamps may look when illuminated. The gas burners weren't with them when I acquired them. These lamps would look great mounted at a pier. Dock or a boathouse. was initially known as Perkins Marine Lamp. Inc. The original focus was on the manufacture of hand formed sheet metal products for the marine market. The first catalog was published in 1916, with a product line as diverse for its time as PERKO's catalog is today. The company name was changed to Perkins Marine Lamp and Hardware Corporation in 1932 to better reflect the growing line of products being offered at that time. Large Antique Nautical Lantern Vintage 5-way Green Ship Lamp Port& Starboard Used- Antique Nautical Lantern This lantern has some discoloration around glass and on seams. Pictures reflect a bent spot along one of the upper seams. Approximate size is 14.5" tall including carry handle by 9" wide. This lantern has NOT been converted to an electrical light. I have included the lighted pictures so you can see the brilliance of the green glass. Glass does not have any cracks or major scratches in them. The glass does not have any marks in the glass, other than what appears to be consistent with how glass was made during that time. I do not know the exact age of this lantern. However it is the only one I have seen with 5 semi-globe sections. I was going to convert this Kerosene/oil lamp into a lighted lamp and clean it up for my nautical ... morethemed room, but never got around to it. I now am moving and liquidating some of my stuff. I did pay quit a bit for this lamp due to its unusualness and size, however I am willing to take any reasonable offers. This would be a great old kerosene o conversion lantern to put in a parlor, back porch, sitting room or make great lighting for movie night. I prefer the green over your normal red port lights because it is a little softer and not as aggressive in nature depending on your usage or if you decide to use it for a child's night lantern for sleeping. I don't know anything about these as they were found in an estate clean out. I was told they are Perko lamps but found no markings- please do your own homework. Both look to have been rewired based on the 12v sticker inside. Now they have 110v wiring, one is missing a plug. Look to be made out of brass and galvanized, and the exterior of the galvanized is painted a flat black. Both lenses appear to be in great shape and are stamped'Perkins C/L 3 Side' and'FIC259 Mould No 3' They are approx 12" x 6" x 6" each and weigh about 3 3/4 lbs each. The lanterns are in good shape for their age and the lanterns themselves stand about 9 inches tall. They do have some dents and dings towards the tops of the lanterns but the glass has no cracks and is in good shape. They do have alot of oxidation, minor on the outside and major on the inside. I was not going to clean them because I did not want to discolor them but they will hopefully clean up very nicely if cleaned properly.
