This lantern lamp came from my dad's garage. I can't tell what kind and guessing on the Bridge lamb.It appears to be in good shape. This lamp looks like a kerosene lantern but this one has a light bulb socket. It does not appear to be converted from kerosene I cannot find any company markings so your guess is as good as mine. Marine Nautical 1851 Ouvrard & Villars Red Globe Anchor Lamp onion copper brass
Market fresh find; Original to the mid-1800's from the French Crimean war era. This is an Ouvrard& Villars Nautical Anchor lamp; Beautiful condition, it is constructed of hammered copper with a dual-ring brass cage. Original ruby flashed red globe. Marked O V Depose on the copper. May very well have come from one of the Ironclad Steam Battleships on the Black Sea, I purchased this lantern from the estate of a very meticulous and discriminating lamp collector. This piece has undergone a no-harm electrification. Which can easily be removed. The original oil burner is wired to the underside of the chimney. The original font is in place. The bottom of the font has been painted on the underside. I can't guarantee the font won't leak, but I suspect(but can't confirm) it was painted to stop any rust. Some of my photos show a ... moreflickering flame lamp bulb which will not be included. Measures: Globe: 10" diameter x 8" in height. Antique/Vintage Brass/Copper Nautical Maritime Oil Lamp with Beveled Glass
This antique brass/copper oil lamp is in excellent condition and has a beautiful patina. Only 2 tiny dings at the very top of the chimney about 2mm wide. It measures 13.5"H by 7" W. I can not find a makers mark. But I don't want to polish it to find out. Many antique dealers prefer brass or copper items in there natural aged state. The glass is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks and is beveled. Still has the original oil container with wick and the wick turner does rotate.

Nice vintage patina on this Perkins marine ships lamp. Great decorative piece for your nautical themed home. Would make Interesting repurpose project Measures approx 16" Note dents on pictures(does not distract from piece) Interesting History from website: The story starts with Frederick Persky. Who later became known as Frederick Perkins. He was a Russian immigrant who was schooled in Germany as a machinist and tool-and-die maker. Frederick came to the United States in the early 1890's and soon became employed as a machinist for E.W. Bliss& Company in Brooklyn, New York. In the early 1900's, he and a partner began operating a business, F. Persky& Company, Lantern Manufacturer, out of the basement of his house. In 1907. Frederick's son Louis joined him in the business, and together they enlarged both the product line ... moreand the manufacturing facilities. By 1912, they had seventeen employees and made a wide range of marine lanterns and products. The business continued operating until 1913 when Frederick became president of National Marine Lamp Company. Based out of Forestville, Connecticut. Frederick and Louis left that company in 1916 and moved back to Brooklyn, New York, where they started Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation. Five generations later, PERKO is still a privately owned, family operated corporation, which is unusual in today's marketplace.

Offered with no reserve. A rare Perkins Marine Lamp. This is made by the Perkins Marine Lamp and Hardware Company of Brooklyn New York. Has a small brass ID tag just under the toggle switch. See picture#3. The lamp stands 15" tall and is 7" in diameter at the base. Copper construction. Features 2 tie down hooks at the base. Also has hook on the top cover. There are several metal"arms" that protect the globe. One of these is missing the top screw. See second to last picture. This is a dry cell battery operated lamp. It appears the necessary wires are in place. This piece was purchased at an estate sale of a collector. I don't know much about it except that it is vintage from the 1960s-70s. The condition is excellent for its age. With the only noticable wear being on the base. Needs a new bottom glued back on. Can put any color c7 bulb in the bottom portion. See photos for details. The lamp has three possible settings, 1-just the top, 2-just bottom part is lit, 3-both top and bottom are lit. The height of the entire lamp is 22 without lightbulb. 2- Vintage copper Perko Perkins Marine Barge Lamp Nautical Light Lanterns. Lanterns have clear glass and measure just over 13 inches from the bottom to the top of the handles. They are about 9 1/2 inches to the outside of each bracket mounted on the side of the lights. It looks like the screws in the handle on one of the lights has been replaced with new brass screws. The clear glass does have some small flea bites chips you can feel if you rub your finger around each edge of the rippled glass. It only appears that the lids or tops are copper or brass. A rare vintage nautical barometer lamp with a ship in the bottle and an antique copper starboard oil lamp with a blue glass lens. The barometer is a Carrington. Which was made in England, and is in working order. The antique copper starboard oil lamp is a Tung Woo, and is in excellent condition for its age. The 3 way light switch controls both the lamp and lantern, so one can light both lamps or just one of them. The vintage ship in the bottle has a chain attached to the cork, which is anchored to a brass post on the base of the lamp. The base of this lamp is bordered with fisherman's rope, as is the barometer. The wood on this vintage lamp may have some scuff marks from its long journeys, but appears in great condition for its age. The lamp stands 30” in height, 20” in width, and 10” in depth. This beautiful Tung Woo Trawling Oil Ships Lamp Brass and Copper is very nice and has NO damage. Glass is perfect. The Red. Bluish Green and Clear glass is very nice. There are no dents, dings or other signs of heavy wear/use. There is some salt damage however slight and there is residue from Brasso. Lamp has been professionaly mounted on a piece of 3/4" oiled mahogany wood with a routed edge. The lamp mounts are screwed to the mahogany using brass and copper fasteners and the hanging wire is 1/8" stainless aircraft cable with nicopressed eyes on the ends and screwed to the mahogany using brass eye screws. The lamp in no way has been changed to accomodate it's mount. The mahogany is 6 1/2" wide and 10" tall. The lamp is 7 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide including mounting rings. I think no oil has ever been put ... morein the lamp and the wick is unlit. Lamp comes from the home with no kids. No pets and no smokers. The work on this is museum quality. This is a Large(approx. 17 1/2ins tall and approx 12ins wide) heavy( approx. 15lbs) vintage ships lantern. Which has a thick glass Fresno. It is metal which looks like brass and copper( see pics) and has a wooden base. It is electrified and has a place for a small bulb inside. I tested it with a working bulb but it did not light I imagine that it is either the switch or the wiring so it will need fixing The lamp came from an Estate sale and whilst I was not able to get a history on it I was told by the agents that it had been in the family for a long time. As you can see it has not been polished and is a little dusty( as were all the items at the sale! The glass is very thick and appears to be old with imperfections and bubbles. I found one minute flea bit chip in one of the ridges, I tried to show it on the photos but it can more be felt ... morethat seen. It is being sold as- found. Vintage Nautical Ship Lamp Copper With Green Globe Starboard
Up for sale a vintage copper& brass maritime ship lamp with a green glass globe. The majority of the metal is copper although the back may be brass. The globe is partial and is sealed inside. The case is 14 inches tall measuring to the top of the handle.The round portion with the globe is 8 inches in diameter and the base portion is 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches square. This has been wired so the light is in good working order. There is a brass plate on the outside(pictured) it shows Starboard RT 400 NK 77. The globe is marked with a triangle with GGG inside it,also it shows BT43698 and HI 09/03/76 HI 09/01/81. The globe glass is in good shape. The top opens,the lighting has been wired(and works as pictured) and it has a 6 foot cord on it. Ships insured in the US.
