This is an antique globe lantern with globe red glass. Measures 15.75" tall x 9 1/2" across. The beautiful red glass that appears to be hand blown reads"Perkins 10" Frederick Perkins founded the Perkins Marine Lamp Company in the late 1800's in Brooklyn. His lamps were hand formed and soldered from brass. Copper and galvanized steel. About 1922, the trademark name PERKO was introduced and their products were marked with PERKO instead of PERKINS. The numbers"166/11MM 2.82" are embossed in the glass. This item is 6 inches tall. The overall width is right at 7 inches. The top of the globe from outside edge to outside edge measures 6 3/16 inches. The bottom edge measures 6 1/8 inches wide from outside edge to outside edge. As you can see in the attached photos. This light is in excellent condition with only 3 very minor edge flakes. The total thickness of this item is 3/4 of an inch, and it weighs just over 5 pounds. Up for auction is a pair of 2 antique Maritime passageway heavy brass/bronze ship lights with cobalt blue glass globes with sliding doors and a handle for hanging. There are doors that slide on the lamp to open and close the cobalt blue glass globe. The base is all heavy brass/bronze and has a threaded top with moveable handle. On the top of the lamp it has a threaded fitting marked. 9-S-5010-L Type XXII Size B. The threaded top of the light has 9-S-2108-L. There is a gasket with washer and light socket inside, so changing the bulb is very easy. The cobalt blue globe is very heavy, please check pictures and measures 4 ½” diameter x 5” long with rounded bottom. On the rim of the cobalt blue globe it has Type H 2034 L P.G. Co. There are no chips or cracks on the globe. Underneath on the top ring it has 2099-L-3 and on the bottom section ... moreis 2099-L-4. The heavy base contains the sliding door to open and close. Vintage Glass or Pyrex Maritime Dark or Deck Lantern Globe
This strange globe came attached loosely to an Dietz#6 New York Central bellbottom Lantern. I had no clue what it was; It sat in a box with other orphan lantern parts. I really thought it might be a cut down mayonnaise jar. I was reading an online article about marine brass or galvanized lanterns and noticed a duplicate to this. I now realize that this is a globe for a marine dark or deck lantern. It's probably made of Pyrex glass by Corning for lanterns that are subject to exposure to cold seawater when lighted. I suspect that there are serious collectors that can tell much more as to age and original applications. There don't seem to be any serious nicks or flaws and the overall condition is described as very good. Antique Perko 1256 Hand Held Nautical/Maritime Lamp-Glass Globe
This old lamp has a metal protective screen around the original glass shade and a wooden handle below the lamp as opposed to a metal swinging handle above the lamp. The metal cage is a little bent. And the handle has a crack running full length on one side and a smaller crack near the bottom, as shown in our photos. The base is marked Perko with the number 1256. The glass globe has a“P” embossed near the base. Then numbers“9(S-3129-L” followed by“Type O. The handle has a threaded fitting on the bottom so it could be mounted on a corresponding fitting somewhere. But the threads are corroded. Circa 1940 ceiling light with nautical theme. The glass globe has raised decorations around the side- sailing ships. Anchors, and a lighthouse; the bottom of the globe has a 16-point compass rose. The figural brass canopy is a ship's wheel. This fixture is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks in the glass globe; the brass canopy shows some tarnish and wear consistent with age and use. This fixture is rewired with new phenolic sockets and wire leads. There is the original Harmony House decal on the inside of the canopy. Metal with clear glass globe Ship or Railroad Kerosene Lantern. Canada 1921-1923 with numbers engraved on bottom. Adlake Kero engraved on the top. 10 by 6 inch lamp with a 4 inch high handle. Wick inside is intact as well as the wicks handle on the side. The bottoms wire like base is slightly bent. There is some rust throughout and a 1/2 inch long, 1/8 inch dent on the top. Very good condition overall.

It measures 2 1/8" inside to inside of mouth measures 3 1/2" tall and measures roughly 3" across. glass is dirty but looks to may hairline crack I took picture of top to show but it is not deep. this was a barn find with lots more to be listed. has perko etched in the glass. please ask questions or any knowledge will be helpful. Brass Boat or Ship Lantern w/clear Glass Ribbed Globe
This little lantern is in very good condition. I don't know the age of it and there is not a manufacturer name on it. It is nicely done. I is electric. The bulb in it is marked USA. I was able to read Sylvania and 230V. I wiped the end to read it more clearly and all of the letters went away. It is a dual pole bulb. The bulb receptacle screws out and there are screws that can be removed or loosened to place wires into it then tightened back to make a very good positive connection. All brass lamp holder steampunk Navy ship glass globe
Part of a light fixture from an old Navy ship. All brass. Inside has large threads for a glass globe to screw into. This probably was mounted to an electrical box with a bulb socket. Up for bid is a very cool Mid Century Nautical Ships Steering Wheel Wall Sconce light With Hurricane Globe. This is a really neat light. The steering wheel is wood and a brass where the glass globe is held in. It measures approximately 16" from the top of the glass to the bottom of the wood and has a place to hang on the wall. There is a cord and plug for the electrical connection and will set off the wall roughly 6" once hung. Its in very nice shape and has a nice aged took to it.
