This antique& very old& certainly original carriage lamp light from an actual carriage that held a real fuel in it. This one was converted into an electric light. Great piece for a ranch house. Or barn house. It also has a red piece of red glass or maybe it's a gem of some kind as they used in the old watches, I'm not sure. On the back side of it where it opens, I'm doing further research on it& will post the more I find out about it. As you can see, it has one side window and one in front. This may have been a left lamp light for the carriage. The lamp itself is all brass& measures 20" long& is about 7& 1/2" wide& has a girth of about 6" The round piece of clear glass in the middle is 4& 3/4" in diameter.
