I have ... morelots of different things this week. So if you have a few minutes to spare, just click on the link below to see them all. I'm always happy to combine items to save on shipping! This is a vintage copper oil lamp filler by Sternau& Co. From the early 1900s. This was also used to fill the burners under the old Sternau coffee makers and chafing dishes. It stands about 4.25" from the base to the top of the center finial, 5.75" from the base to the top of the spout, is 4-1/8" in diameter at the center of the rounded container. This has the original patina and I decided to leave it that way rather than polish it, as some people prefer this aged copper appearance. I'm not sure if this is solid copper or plated, but for sure the handle and the little bridge between the container and the spout is copper plated, as what appears to be brass shows through on this area. This has a swirly handle and a long, thin, curvy spout that has a tip cover that is attached by a chain. At the upper end of the handle is a round knob-like pump that can be pushed in and out and seems to have a nice spring action. The finial cover unscrews at the top of the oil can. There is patina over all of the surface and some verdigris and darker patches that can be seen in the photos. There is one ding in the surface of the body on the right center area when the spout is pointing toward the left as in the first photo. The base of the oil can is stamped with the Sternau& Co logo(S&Co) surrounded by a circle with the words Trade Mark and Patented around the logo. Someone had scratched in the initials MA on the bottom of the oil can near the logo. Please see photos to best determine condition and feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions! Early. Copper& Brass Starboard Side Ships Lamp. This antique lamp was found at an estate sale in Henderson. NY on the eastern shore area of lake Ontario. The lamp is being offered as found for parts or refurbish or keep as is. The lamp stands 8.7/8" tall as is. The soot catcher or chimney cap is missing. The copper housing shows a lot of aged patina. There is a crack in the copper in the pierced trim that goes around the chimney(see image 9) The bottom door also has a split or crack(see image 5) The curved, green glass is in excellent condition for its age, just a few fine scratches and some dirt. Large Vintage Copper& Brass Nautical Neptune Maritime Oil Lamp Lantern This large vintage Neptune nautical oil lamp is crafted of copper& brass. The outer housing is copper& the interior is lined in brass. With a brass lamp. The top is hinged& clasped with a chained hook. The lamp lifts out on two brass arms that extend to the top of the lamp. The interior lamp is complete& functioning. All glass is fine& the lamp displays very nicely. There is some slight age greening to the copper& one small dent on the back of the frame. Next to the window. It measures 14.5" tall excluding the handle& 18.5" tall including the handle by 9" wide, including the brass hanging brackets by 6" wide. Selling a cute little copper lantern. All five panes of glass are individual. The hurricane is in nice shape with some nicks. No makers name that I can find. Says made in Hong Kong on the bottom. This is a copper lantern that measures 18" tall and 6 1/2" wide across. It has 6 glass sides with cut stars and vines? There is a glass oil lamp base, no wick or top that is fitted into the base of the lamp. the door opens at 2 two panes on a copper constructed hinge and latches closed. all solder joints in decent shape for its age, just one cracked pane of glass. They also have quite a bit of wonderful green patina. The Port one has a disconnected hinge. The big one is missing the door on the back. Has a small crack in the front rim and a dent in the bottom. All of the glass is intact with no chips or cracks. The clear one has some imperfections in the finish. They are all missing the oil or Kerosene burning assembly from the inside. Please look at the pictures carefully for anything I might have missed. This may seem like a lot but none of this detracts from the great vintage look! Offered for sale is a vintage nautical navigation light. It has an internal. And removable ABCO oil lamp. I believe that it is made from copper and solder-joined. The only markings on it are on the oil lamp adjuster. ABCO 1) The chimney has a swivel top to allow access to the lamp globe. Vintage Copper Oil Lamp Possibly Brass? Weighted Ship Lamp?
Here we have a cool old copper oil lamp. I believe it's copper. As the bottom is turning that beautiful reddish tint. The portions above that, however, look like they could be brass, as they are aging differently. The lamp is approximately 9 inches tall and 5 inches wide. The only identifying marks are on the neck in tiny writing which says"patd oct 31 1875" I'm sure it's that old but I couldn't find another like it. The lamp does not have any dents or scratches to speak of. It was probably a ship lamp. As the base is weighted. The whole lamp is heavy for its size; I would say 5 or 6 pounds or so. If you know what this lamp is or anything about it. Please let me know, as I love learning about old stuff like this.

Copper Based Nautical Oil Lamp Insert with Glass Hurricane For sale is a Copper Based Nautical Oil Lamp Insert with Glass Hurricane and Burner. This great find comes from those days of wooden ships and pirateers. Copper base lamp is 11" tall and 4.5 x 3.25 x 2.25" approximately and was used on ships becasue copper doesn't rust. This lamp probably had a holder of some sort on a wall or table that held it in place. Lamp has a small"D" ring holder for carrying. Lamps of this age most burned grease or inexpensive oils. The burner does have rust but can be cleaned. It does remove easily. Glass hurricane is in excellent condition. There is a little lime spot on the base but can be cleaned away. This is the original patina. I have not cleaned this except to remove a bit of dust. Please examine the photos carefully. This antique brass/copper oil lamp is in excellent condition and has a beautiful patina. Only 2 tiny dings at the very top of the chimney about 2mm wide. It measures 13.5"H by 7" W. I can not find a makers mark. But I don't want to polish it to find out. Many antique dealers prefer brass or copper items in there natural aged state. The glass is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks and is beveled. Still has the original oil container with wick and the wick turner does rotate.

You are looking at an Antique Copper Anchor Lantern/ Lamp. This lantern is 19 inches tall and comes with an electric light kit as well as oil burner. The Fresnel style lens is made to magnify the oil lamp light to be visible for 20 nautical miles. Lamp is hand machined in pure heavy-gauge copper with brass trim. Tung Woo Trawling Oil Ships Lamp Brass and Copper
This beautiful Tung Woo Trawling Oil Ships Lamp Brass and Copper is very nice and has NO damage. Glass is perfect. The Red. Bluish Green and Clear glass is very nice. There are no dents, dings or other signs of heavy wear/use. There is some salt damage however slight and there is residue from Brasso. Lamp has been professionaly mounted on a piece of 3/4" oiled mahogany wood with a routed edge. The lamp mounts are screwed to the mahogany using brass and copper fasteners and the hanging wire is 1/8" stainless aircraft cable with nicopressed eyes on the ends and screwed to the mahogany using brass eye screws. The lamp in no way has been changed to accomodate it's mount. The mahogany is 6 1/2" wide and 10" tall. The lamp is 7 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide including mounting rings. I think no oil has ever been put ... morein the lamp and the wick is unlit. Lamp comes from the home with no kids. No pets and no smokers. The work on this is museum quality.
