Huge vintage Pauluhn Nautical Pier lights. stamped- cat no. 1453 Great Nautical heavy duty design. Believed to be solid brass- Will not stick to a magnet. These are mounted to bases manufactured by- Kenilworth N.J. and read Suitable for wet locations. We have not attempted to clean or polish these at all. One of the red or off red glass globes has 6 chips on its fins which are hard to notice because of the large size. The other red globe which is a slightly different tone then the other has only one chip on a fin. Both globes have some minor flea biting on the fins and scratching/ wear throughout from age and outdoor use. The brass or metal has scratching scuffing etc. and one of them has a little chunk missing shown in photograph# 3. These will need a detailed cleaning and restoration of all wiring before they can be used. The globes have ... moresomewhat of a opalescence tone and may have been painted at some point but are absolutely originally RED glass. Please note these need full restoration ASIS as shown. Vintage nautical Ship sconces lights Maritime Heavy Glass Brass Rare Beautiful
A very rare and beautiful pair of brass ship nautical Wall sconces. They could have been originally oil lights and converted to electric but I have no idea. They are made of heavy brass roughly 8lbs each with heavy steel bases. They are roughly 15 1/2" straightened up. The base or wall mount is 5 1/2" round as the same as the heavy glass bowl beneath the light. They are both are made to move which ever position you desire sideways. Up, down, etc. Just loosen the bolt and retighten. There is one bolt missing and there was another replaced. They are in exceptional condition with no breaks or repairs. As you can see in my picture the wall mount bases there is a slight discoloration which is very hard to see. The glass is very thick and it looks like one is a shade darker than the other and possibly one is greenish and the other is ... morereddish or darker green. They are both the same shape as also the lamps. They are identical. Don't know if because of the light over the years made one a bit darker than the other. Very hard to find these nautical sconces. You are bidding on the four vintage cast brass Ship's nautical passageway ceiling lights shown in the above photos. These lights measure about 8 1/2 inches tall and about 4 inches wide. The base has three mount holes that are about 2 1/2 inches off the center of the light. The globes are glass and in good condition. Each light weighs almost 5 pounds. You can access the bulb area by unscrewing the cage and then unscrewing the glass globe. The glass is undamaged. But could use some additional cleaning. The cage and the glass globe screw on and off with little effort. This light has been totally rewired with all new UL-Listed parts rated for any ... morevoltage of 250 volts or less. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less. The new wires exit from the new hole we drilled on the bottom of the light, and the original conduit holes have been plugged with copper caps. These lights were recovered from one of our many salvage operations. These lights will have some minor wear that may include bending to the cage ribs. While we have removed most of the original paint and polished the light, some buyer may want to do additional polishing work. This light can be used inside or outside. It will never rust! Up for auction is a pair of 2 antique Maritime passageway heavy brass/bronze ship lights with cobalt blue glass globes with sliding doors and a handle for hanging. There are doors that slide on the lamp to open and close the cobalt blue glass globe. The base is all heavy brass/bronze and has a threaded top with moveable handle. On the top of the lamp it has a threaded fitting marked. 9-S-5010-L Type XXII Size B. The threaded top of the light has 9-S-2108-L. There is a gasket with washer and light socket inside, so changing the bulb is very easy. The cobalt blue globe is very heavy, please check pictures and measures 4 ½” diameter x 5” long with rounded bottom. On the rim of the cobalt blue globe it has Type H 2034 L P.G. Co. US Navy Ship Bulkhead Lights Brass - Corning Lenses - WW2 Era
You are bidding on 2 brass covered. Interior bulkhead lights. They are about 8" high, 4.5" wide and 4" deep. The covers are solid brass and the lenses read"Corning Made in USA 3DX3 F.S.O. on the inside. They both have the wiring and the bulb socket although one of them is squashed a little bit. One is missing a brass holding screw for the cover and the remaining screw is stripped out. They have an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers sticker on the back but you can barely make them out. I am brokering a fairly large maritime collection which has a number of items from WW2 Naval ships so I believe these are probably from a US Navy ship of some kind but I have no proof of that as the collector has passed on and records are sketchy. A pair of port and starboard kerosene ships running lights. I call them"old" since I suspect my brother bought them in a foreign country many years ago when he was in the merchant marine. I hesitate to call them"authentic" since they have plates on them which state: Port. Starboard. I don't think real sailors need to be reminded what the red and green lenses denote. They are constructed of copper/brass/bronze, appear to be plastic green/red lenses, approximately 12.5 inches high, 7.5 inches across. Description Up for auction are two vintage brass ship's lights. The one on the right with the black cable is marked Pemco. The base is 4-1/2" across. And it seems to be in good used condition, with green corrosion at the seam. All four screws that hold the two pieces together, have been broken and need to be fixed. Carbon build-up is still present on the inner cap and on the underside of the included snuffer. he lantern measures approx. 14.5" Tall by 8" Wide and weighs approx. 6 lbs. The glass globe is clear and very thick. It was converted to electric light at one point as evident by the electrical wire holes on the bottom and the switch hole on the backside. There is no electric work in it currently. The lantern is in very good condition with some tarnishing on the brass and some patina on the bottom rim and bottom as shown in pics. I've got a nice matched set of solid brass ships bulkhead(wall) mount passageway lights with a brass shade.Mounted on the wall they are approx 8" tall.Shade is approx. 9" wide and they stick 11" out when mounted on the wall. I left them how I found it,wiped off the dust and listed them.These are currently hard wired but can be wired with an extension cord,whatever your needs. Very good overall condition just need a bit of cleaning. PAIR OF BRASS BRONZE RUSSEL& STOLL CO NY LIGHT SHIP NAVY BOAT LAMPS. These are in great condition for their age. A rare find at a shipyard here in Norfolk VA. Please take a close look at the photos and see what awesome shape these lights are in. Authentic and removed from a Navy ship. These lights were used in the bombing area of the old navy ships. They measure about 4 1/2 inches thick and 9 1/2 inches wide. Both open and hinges are in excellent condition. I have not restored or rewired. They are in original authentic condition. You are bidding on the two original cast brass nautical bulkhead lights shown in the above photos. Each light weighs about 5 1/2 pounds. From the top of the wall mount to the bottom of the cage it measures about 10 inches tall. When mounted to the wall it will extend out from the wall by 6 1/2 inches. The wall mount measures 3 5/8 inches in diameter. The glass globes are free of any cracks. The lights have been totally rewired with all new UL-Listed parts rated for any voltage of 250 volts or less. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 75 watts or less. This light ... morecan be used for interior or exterior projects. The cage screws on and off by hand to access the bulb. These lights have been polished. But they have a weathered look as seen in the photos. The globes might need some cleaning. This is the real deal. And we will ship you the lights shown in the above photos!
