It weighs a little over 12 pounds. I'm not sure if it's copper or brass. It's also very LARGE. It measures about 13 1/2" tall, 13 3/4" wide and is approximately 9 1/2" deep from each corner to the back. It was a originally a kerosene or oil ship's lantern. It's an amazing light! It's in excellent working condition, it's been newly re-wired& has an antique switch in the front(converted to electric) The switch is turned to right each time you want to turn it off or no. It has a removable red port glass(see photos of it turned on, with and without the red glass) The clear glass has a small 1/2" chip in one of the ... moreribbed sections; it's a very heavy thick glass so this does not compromise anything. Near the top of the lamp there's an emblem that has the numbers"3883" There is also some etching on both the clear and red glass. I wonder if this belonged to a military ship. As most items on those ships were marked with serial#s etc. The writing on each glass piece says"DHJE 3883, No. 654, E.31.5.61" It's not very noticable and you can't see it unless you really look; it's not seen when the light is on. Condition wise.it's vintage! There are a few dings& dents. Some areas of wear etc.but considering it was a ship light, it's going to have a weathered old look, which I personally prefer. Lamp measures a stately 23" to top of handle. 18" tall without handle and at its widest a 10" diameter. With the exception of a dent in the brass at the base the lantern is in excellent condition. The lantern stands about 11" and 5 1/4" wide. On the back is a key hole notch for hanging. The wick is still intact and the turn knob works. The glass chimney is about 10 1/4" tall and the base is 2" wide. On the chimney is written cristal Prima. There are some spots of tarnish and a small scuff in the front. Otherwise, in good condition. You are bidding on the vintage cast brass Ship's nautical passageway ceiling light shown in the above photos. This light measure about 8 1/2 inches tall and about 4 inches wide. The base has three mount holes that are about 2 1/2 inches off the center of the light. The globe is glass and in good condition. The light weighs almost 5 pounds. You can access the bulb area by unscrewing the cage and then unscrewing the glass globe. The glass is undamaged. But could use some additional cleaning. The cage and the glass globe screw on and off with little effort. This light has been totally rewired with all new UL-Listed parts rated for any voltage of ... more250 volts or less. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less. The new wires exit from the new hole we drilled on the bottom of the light, and the original conduit holes have been plugged with copper caps. These lights were recovered from one of our many salvage operations. These lights will have some minor wear that may include bending to the cage ribs. While we have removed most of the original paint and polished the light, some buyer may want to do additional polishing work. The cage has one broken rib near the threaded ring on the bottom side. Not a big issue. But I just want to point it out. This can also be seen in the attached photos. This light can be used inside or outside. It will never rust! If you have questions. A brass"MASTHEAD" plaque surmounts the hood of this VINTAGE NAUTICAL LANTERN. It stands 14-1/2 inches tall. Not including handle. The bases are exact underneath so maybe just a replaced ball and stem holder.

Nice Old Brass Nautical Ship Lamp with Red Clear & Green Glasses NO RESERVE
Measures approx. 9-1/2" high to top of cap and 11-3/4" to top of handle. Made entirely of brass with glass lenses. The only marking or name that I could find anywhere is"THE MILLER CO. U.S.A. on the wick adjustment knob. And one side of the wick cover is signed"1925. This lantern apparently was electrified at one time, as there is a small hole neatly punched through the backside near the base. Otherwise it is complete and needs only light cleaning and polishing. A good old one, probably 1920-1940 vintage. I will combine shipping whenever possible, and normally will ship worldwide within one day of receiving payment. R.I. residents must add 7% sales tax. Antique Brass / Glass Marine Oil Lantern Case- Nice Nautical Decor
A nice old brass and glass oil lantern with a brass cage over glass design. This originally held a small brass oil lamp which I do not have. The lantern has all four sides. The side that opens does not have the original hinge. When at rest on a table the door stays shut just fine. The brass edge that held the hinge pin slips inside and. When you close the hasp, the door stays in place. You may want to put a hinge on it to get it to swing open like it is supposed to. Either way, perfectly serviceable as is. We use it outdoors with an outdoor candle and it has a nice nautical look. It has a wood and brass handle for carrying. Overall in good condition but could use a good polishing and a cleaning. The glass is all good but one small corner has some loss on the inside(see close up photo) Obviously there are some minor dings and bends in the ... morebrass. This is being sold as a decorative item only and not a rare collectible antique unless you want to restore it. It is 13 inches tall not including the handle and 15 1/2 inches counting the handle. You are bidding on the matched pair of solid cast brass nautical lights with true red and green glass globes shown in the above photos. From the top of the wall mount to the bottom of the cage. Each light measures 11 inches tall. The brass rain cap cover that we added measures 8 inches wide and now has a rolled outside edge. The two wall mount lugs on the backside of the brass junction box are 5 inches on center of each other. When mounted to the wall, this light will extend out from the wall by 10 inches. Each light in this set weighs over 8 pounds, and is 100% cast brass. You can use this light inside or outside, it will never rust! We have installed a new Westinghouse UL-Listed bulb fixture that is rated for up to 250 volts. The new wiring leads terminate ... moreinside the brass junction box. This light takes a normal screw in house bulb of 75 watts or less. To access the bulb, you unscrew the brass cage and then unscrew the glass globe. We also stock replacement glass globes for these lights, so no need to worry about broken globes down the road. This light has some original parts and some recast parts made from other broken lights. Need your lights with clear globes. Just tell us, and we will change the red and green glass globes to clear glass before we ship your order. These lights make great dock lights. Boat house lights, front door lights, and they have many interior lighting uses! We take great pride in this light design. We have made new rubber gasket to fit above the rain cap deflector cover and a second new rubber gasket has been added to the inside housing where the globe screws in. Fresh from an estate nautical collection is a Red Glass Antique Brass Ship Lantern marked Kilborn-Sauer Co. Fairfield, Connecticut USA. This brass navigation lamp is in excellent condition for its age. No breaks or cracks, white marks on glass is reflection from camera light flash. Did not open up. Do not know what is inside. Aged Brass and Etched Glass Nautical Lamp Lantern Candle Holder
This belonged to my Uncle and he had it for roughly 30-40 years. He lived on the lake in upper Michigan. So that’s why I think it’s a nautical lamp. But I’m not really sure. The top opens and shuts, and the base turns to unlock and open. The last thing my Uncle had in the base was a 2-1/4" citronella insect repellent oil candle(shown in photo as an example. But I'm not including that in auction because it's old and dried up) The brass is aged and there is quite a bit of oxidation as you can see in the photos. I haven't attempted to clean it with soaps and solvents because I don’t know what I’m doing and could ruin it. Plus I know some people like the natural patina look. The patina blues on the bottom are gorgeous. It measures 9 ½” high. The etched designs in the glass globe are 8-pointed stars making a beautiful starburst ... moredesign. Made in India.

~~RARE Antique PERKO Brass Marine Maritime Nautical Ship Lanterns Finger Lamps~~
I have a pair of rare vintage brass Perko marine ship's lamps or lanterns. They used to be kerosene or oil but were converted to electric. They are in wonderful shape with no dents or damage and everything is intact. they do however have wear that is consistent with age. Each lantern has a finger lamp inside that is removable as shown in the pictures. A 4 inch reflector/ mirror, and 3 glass panels. Each is also stamped with a brass tag that reads" PERKO Manufacturer's Reg. Trademark Perkin's Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Miami Florida USA" on the front and another stamp on the back that reads the same thing. They both measure almost 14" tall. one being about 1/4" taller than the other one. You can definitely tell that these gems were handmade. These are very cool nautical decorations or gifts!

Offered for sale is a antique/ vintage Perko brass pie shaped marine lamp. The lamp stands about 12-1/2" tall and with the top ring is 14-1/2" tall. It is about 8" wide across the front. The top features a pierced"lighthouse" shaped vent. The glass is green. Ribbed and convex shaped. There are bars in front of the glass. The"door" to the interior has a bolt action slide. The interior still has the oil and wick original lighting mechanism. The front plate holding the door is bolted on. There is a Perko brass tag stating"Known the World Over" +"Perko" +"P.M.L.Co Bklyn, NY" This lamp was probably originally galvanized to prevent corrosion. The lamp has been used and there is some corrosion present on the interior(as shown) There are also some dings above the door(as shown) The ... morelamp has not been lit, but we presume it still functions. This is a pair of wonderful brass Wall Sconce ship lanterns. They have great patina and look like maybe some kind of spot light or directional light. The glass all appears to be intact and the hinges all work great. They both read hojalateria de H.S_ 211_ 1896 it’s hard to read it all they have been converted from oil. Or they are copies of original- I'm not an expert so I will leave that up to you to determine. 3 Vintage Nautical Ship Boat Tank light Lamps Oceanic 401 Brass and glass
3 old used nautical ship tank lights that all need to be rewired. The metal cages are missing so it is just the solid brass fitting and the glass. Each weigh aprox 4 lbs.
