Up for sale here we have a Vintage Nautical Maritime Boat Ship Light Lantern 21" Brass RARE Ocean Sea Coast. This lantern is absolutely awesome. It has a very nice patina as you can see. This is the real deal and it was used. Someone at some point of time made it electrical light. The glass has a few chips in the extremely thick glass. There is a couple small dents. But you can't hardly tell with the colors of the lantern. This lantern is unmarked. It is very solid and well made. The lantern measures approximately 21"x11" With the handle up it is about 23.5" in height. It weighs a heavy 17lbs 12oz. We assume since this is from the sea and very old that it is made of brass. This item has me puzzled. I don't know if is made of copper and then brass coated or if is brass. It is embossed"HEKLICHT" on top. The glass front has a logo which is a triangle with 3 Gs on it. In the bottom it is marked"DHR Netherlands 07-02" It has some tarnish and oxidation. I hope you can see that in the pictures. It is very nicely made and it appears old but, I am not an expert in this items so it might not be very old. I have had it for about 7 years or so and bought it from an estate sale. It has not been used by me and when I bought it the wick was brand new. It still is. There is a some damage in the fluid container. RARE UNMODIFIED ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP ANCHOR LANTERN MARITIME NAUTICAL COPPER RIVET
Up for sale is RARE UNMODIFIED ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP ANCHOR LANTERN. This is such a great find because as just stated it is UNMODIFIED. Meaning it has NOT been converted over to electric. This lamp features a brass body with handmade copper rivets. All the hardware(rivets. Hinges, hasps, etc) appear to be hand made/forged. The ANCHOR brass label is applied on the top section which opens to expose the burner. The hook and chain to secure the hinged top are still intact. There is also a hinged top cap for flame inspection. When you open the top cap you will see that the chimney is triple insulated. It has a Frenzel type lens which appears to be old and original glass. The oil tank and burner assembly fits snug inside the lantern. Upon removal of the burner assembly from the oil tank. The wick is new and the inside of the oil tank has no residue ... moreor oil smell, suggesting it has to have been either cleaned very thoroughly(with several areas inside the tank unreachable) or possibly never used! Even though it seems to be the latter of the two options we still say possibly due to now documentation or provenance on the lantern beyond the current owner. This lack of evidence of use is consistent with inside of the metal chimney where no obvious traces of soot can be found. The base has aspiration vents all around it. The burner's wick knob has the words"SHERWOODS LTD. B'HAM MADE IN ENGLAND" on it. Making this from the very early 1900s at the latest from what we can find on the company. We have no reason to believe that this burner insert is anything but original to the lantern. Meaning we believe the lantern to be from the same time period. If anyone knows any different please share with us. In use this lamp would have been hauled up the ship's mast with halyards. To secure it as such. The lamp is equipped with substantial brass bail handles on the top and bottom. These are attached to heavy cast brass brackets riveted to the body of the lamp. It comes with a tall thin glass smoke chimney. It measures 15" high to the top of the chimney, the base is 3 5/16" wide. It has very obvious quality- best you could possibly find. Perhaps made by Weems& Plath or Scandinavian maker. Fine clean solid condition with no damage- check my photos. This Vintage Bulpitt lantern is complete but the isinglass or mica chimney is slightly damaged and the font is slightly off center.May have been dropped.This is an antique Bulpitt 1941 ceiling oil burning fixture or maritime oil lamp. It is made from iron, brass and porcelain and has a wonderful patina from age.the removable burner has lockable notches and knobs to hold it into place and a key to adjust the flame on the side which hangs on a chain.there is also a place on one of the two arms that the key can be held.The top opens on a brass hinge and locks shut at an ornate brass hinge, which has a removable pin held by a chain.It has normal ware from age and works great,the lamp alone measures about 13 1/2 inches up and down by 10 3/4 inches wide. Antique Vintage Wedge Brass lantern, maritime lamp, nautical light mine railroad
amazing antique vintage brass oil lantern. I dont know exactly the age of the piece but it is in really good shape. There is no corrosion to the brass and the glass sides and chimney have no chips or cracks and there is just a small dent on the top. It is missing the wick. Please look at pictures closely. It belonged to an officer who served in the first World War. We found the lantern in his army trunk with all his other gear but I couldn't find out if this lantern was something he used during WWI or brought home from Europe. We were however able to identify that it is a binnacle ship lantern. The lantern is not made of any steel. Its all brass. This is so that the lamp will not interfere with the ships compass. This is a beautiful copper and brass kerosine anchor light with a nice aged patina. It is in is in excellent condition. There are no dents. Cracks or missing parts. Bulpitt& Sons Solid Brass Nautical Maritime Ship Oil Lantern all original BULPITT& SONS BIRMINGHAM Is embossed on the chimney of the lantern. But barely legible due to a light stamp. The date is also stamped on the chimney but cannot be read. Fully functional. Heavy gauge brass with copper rivets lantern complete with all its original parts. Used aboard a ship as a bulkhead, cabin, wardroom lamp/ lantern. Bulpitt and Sons LTD is imprinted on both the chimney and Bulpitt on the oil tank. Manufactured by famed English maker. Bulpitt and Sons, Birmingham, England. This is an extraordinary and rare item in excellent condition. The lantern measures 16" at the tallest chimney point and 20" with the wooden handle extended. 8" wide at the back, 5" deep. Weighs amost 11 lbs. The back is flat and boasts a huge brass clip ... morewith copper rivets for sturdy mounting. The front is three-sided with glass windows which are all intact, with no cracks or chips. The original brass burner is also in excellent condition with a wick, not sure it is the original. The stamp on the burner clasp reads Bulpitt. A brass reflector wall is behind the burner. The burner looks as though never used and slides out easily through the glass door on the right. There is also a slide on the side of the door that moves to expose an opening without having to open the door. The chimney top opens and the entire top is hinged to flip back allowing access to the chimney. It even still has the solid brass knob on the front lower corner. There are a few small dents consistent with its age. But it does not detract from the overall beauty of this gorgeous piece of British seafaring history. This would make a great piece to add to any maritime nautical collection.

I have up for auction a really nice pair of vintage/antique Russell& Stoll Co. New York wall sconces. This pair is in very good condition but as can be seen will need rewiring to be functional. The back of the sconces appear to be made from galvanized metal. The rest of the light and cage portion are I believe to be brass. Cages open and close with a spring latch. Up for auction is this antique or vintage brass nautical lantern. I am uncertain of its exact age as I could not find another in my internet search. Wonderful original patina and in great working condition. It is really quite heavy. Weighing over 7 lbs. Ceramic neck inside; ribbed glass. I do not know if this was originally in a ceiling hanging down or on a deck standing up.the more knowledgeable ebay maritime collector knows more than me! Measures approx. 10 3/4" h x 4 3/4" w. Has the number 4538-1 embossed on the top. It looks like D-3 or 8- proceeds this number but it is faded with age and hard to read. Shipping is $19.50 across US connecting states.

I believe this to be a vintage ship/nautical/maritime oil lantern in good condition. Made of copper, brass and a amber/yellowish tinted globe shaped glass w/ no cracks or chips. The lantern measures 11"H x 7.5"W and has a small removable oil lantern that enters the lantern through a small hole in the base of the lantern. I left the metal the way I found this piece and only cleaned up the glass globe. I do not see any reason why this lantern would not function properly. Up for auction is a rare Vintage Copper& Brass Ships Navigation Light. Has a nice patina if you like that or should clean up nicely. This is electric and is supplied with a heavy duty cord. The top handle piece and vertical bars are brass. Along with the front plate, the rest is copper. The plate reads"All Around Green" BT 400" NK 77" The top handle reads"IP 56" On the glass are the words"IMCO R.I.N.A 5/1638-1648 DHI 09/03/76" Etched in the glass is BT13474(I'm thinking this is the ships inventory# Measures 13.5" tall including handle. Vintage Maritime Brass Wall Light Fixture with Anchor Rare!
I have never seen a light quite like this one! All I can do is give you measurements and I hope I can make them sound understandable to you. The part that goes against the wall is 4 1/2" in diameter. The center of the Anchor from the wall plate to the center point 4 1/4" From the base of the light to the outer tip of the curved point is 2 3/4" The area where the ceramic bulb holder sets is also 4 1/2" diameter. The old ceramic bulb holder can still be used but the wires are frayed. The widest overall distance from the wall to the outermost area of the fixture is 6 1/2" Hope you can make sense of this and thanks for looking!

This vintage Seahorse Anchor light lantern is salty and original. It is 23 1/2" tall with loop and is very rare. The patina is very nice and shows that this is the real deal. This is such a wonderful piece; almost hate to part with it. It is marked underneath. Chase! Measures 8.5" tall and 4.5" across its base. No cracks or chips to glass.
