Antique "Viking" Ship Nautical Maritime Oil Lamp Kerosene Lantern
Vintage Viking Kerosene anchor light. Not sure of the age but not antique. I see other Viking brand lanterns listed as true antiques but I don't believe they are or that this one is. Everything works. It stands 15" tall. 6 1/2" deep and 6 1/2" wide. The glass is all in good condition. No dents, breaks or flaws that I can see. The material seems to be all brass except the rolled edges and corners are brass rolled over a steel rod. This lantern is dirty and needs cleaning but i will leave that up to the purchaser, I am selling as found. This will make a beautiful display or actually use it! It was built in the early 1900’s by Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. And has their name, city, state, and the“PERKO” trademark stamped on the belt clip. Also, BOAT SIGNAL” in a very large font) is stamped just above hinged door. This lantern features two adjustable handles, belt clip, 3” round clear bullseye lens, and a rotating shutter. Included is the original brass oil font tank and burner, which has“PERKO U.S.A. signed on the wick adjusting knob. Overall, the lamp measures 8½” tall x 3½” wide x 5” deep and weighs two pounds. Originally this unit was zinc plated and painted black. The black paint is almost gone and the zinc plating ... moreis still visible in the non-ware areas. Please note that there is a dent in the hinged side of the door. With the paint and plating gone, most of the lead solder joints stand out. We found the lantern in his army trunk with all his other gear but I couldn't find out if this lantern was something he used during WWI or brought home from Europe. Antique whale oil lamp lantern light onion globe silver plated BIG nautical
This incredible light is from an old Wellesley MA estate. It stands about 20" tall to the top of the fixed ring on the top of the heat cage. The globe is around 10" in diameter. The metal surfaces are silver plated and in need of polishing. The base has some denting as shown. The font is original but the burner is missing. The light was electrified at some point but it would be easy enough to remove those parts. A very rare light. Thanks for looking.

Fishing boats, etc. It has 3 bullseye lens. Red, green, and clear. The lantern is made of galvanized tin. The round top is brass. The lantern is complete with the original font burner. There is a handle and a mounting bracket on the back. The wire door latch mechanism works well. The lantern is 8 1/4 inches in height.The lantern is in all original as found, uncleaned condition with great patina. No holes. Just a few minor rust spots but no pitting. Antique Nautical Marine Oil Lantern to start a new paragraph use- This is a great example of an antique marine oil lantern. It's one of the best ones I've seen. The main body ~ top/bottom is free of dents. The hanger and tie downs are intact. The wires or cage is there and in good condition. The glass is free of chips on the outside, has some of the little flea bite size around the rim on the bottom inside like they all do. And the bottom oil lamp part is there, the hinge works and it stays closed when you hold it up. I don't see a mark on the glass, but this looks like a Perkins lantern. At one time had a finish on it ~ I have left this, it does chip off if you care to totally remove it and just have that old zinc/tin look, but right now it has great patina! I have pretty much left it in"as found" condition, I wiped ... morethe glass off inside and out. It measures 8 3/4 inches tall with the top ring down and about 10 1/8 with it up. For sale is a nice old marine lamp-lantern made by Perko De Lite Lamp. This one is made of copper and what appears to be galvanized metal. It has the original oil lamp inside and a green and a red glass lens. They are both in good shape and not broken. Mounting bracket on back with original Perko brass tag. Hanging or holding loop on top. This Nautical Ship Lantern measures 10" x 5½" x 5" It is all original and uncleaned. The gentleman I got this from said he used to use the lantern in it when he camped as a kid. Inside you can see the carbon left from when the lamp was lit. I think if this was wired right. It would make a beautiful and different kind of light for a nautically decorated room.

Up for auction is an awesome antique Neptune Brass Oil Lantern. This is a"ship" or"maritime" lantern. It measures approximately 15" tall(not including handle) and 6.5" square(not including fittings/external bars) The lid is closed by a latch and clip. Open this to expose the inner chimney. Which can be easily removed by pulling up on the two brass handles in opposing corners. The chimney is in like new condition and the wick raiser works like a dream. There are four outer glass panes that easily slide in and out for cleaning. They are crystal clear and in very good condition with no visible chips. The rivets on this lantern are copper. Vintage Antique STERN Nautical Hong Kong Copper Brass Oil Navigation Lantern 9"
This lantern was probably acquired in Singapore where my father-in-law operated a salvage diving business in the 70's.he was US Navy Diver. Who spent a lot of time on boats-and then driving ships, once he retired. The wick is trimmed, slides securely down and there is a reflector that slides in behind it. The wick cap does not click securely to the oil reservoir, though. The thumb wheel turns the wick up and there is one to open the hatch to pull up and refill the reservoir. The top clicks down securely where the ring is positioned. I have some better pictures but am having some trouble uploading from that camera. Email me if you would like to see more.

It stands about 11" tall from the bottom to top of lantern. The loop handle extends another 2" higher or 13" overall. Cage diameter is about 8" in diameter and the glass globe is 6" in diameter. It has the original burner(wick is missing) but will take a standard 3/4" wide wick. As found I only washed it a little to remove the oil/ kerosene from the tank. I believe it would polish up easily but will leave that up to the winning bidder. I rather like the aged patina as is. Antique Brass Lantern Oil Pot Fuel Font - Early Nautical Fixed Globe Lamp Part
Here are the dimensions. The hole this pot fits is 2 1/2 inches across. The pot spans 3 1/4" across its base flange. Or outer edge. 2 inch height between top of threads and bottom of Sangster clips. Stands 2 1/4" overall. All brass. This pot has a crease in its bottom rolled edge, and one clip has been re-soldered a long time ago. The clip repair does not harm how the pot sits and both of these issues are visible in the pictures. The threads are 7/8ths across and suffer no damage. Springs are strong and pot will hold oil. I have sold many oil lamps on ebay. I looked at completed sold and current ebay Perko Lamps and did not see one like this. Heavy duty glass-globe cage. Working hinge no issues that I can see. No dings-dents or holes.no holes in oil reservour. I think it will light and hold oil. More then likely it will need a new wick. Measures 12" X 6" at the base.

Antique Navigational Wilcox & Crittenden Port & Starboard Oil Lantern Pair
For Sale is a very nice set of 2 original oil burning nautical. Maritime Navigational Lanterns.The main housing is constructed of galvanized iron and the top cover is copper. However they have not been shined up. The original manufacturer was Wilcox& Crittenden& Co. There trademark was Capital W with a Capital C embossed on top of one another. The factory was in Middletown, CONN. USA. There is a photo of the Logo which appears to be embossed on brass, it is on the side, located on top of a metal sleeve, which is riveted on the lantern itself. This sleeve must have been used to slip over something to hold it secure to the ship. Both sleeves are intact and extremely secure. This embossing is very difficult to capture in a photo as the glare, and clarity of a photo so close. The lanterns stand just shy of 13" tall with the hanging ... moreloop standing up. They are made to fit in a corner. The sides measure 5" With the front curving around to meet the 2 sides. The glass itself is 5" tall and is almost 90 degrees. One lantern has fresnel green glass for the starboard, and the lantern with the fresnel red glass is for the port. The glass on both lanterns is in very good shape and have no cracks or chips. The metal round accesses to the oil chambers/wicks are both present and appear tight when screwed in. The wick chambers need cleaning, but seem to work, and even have wick left in them! We didn't attempt to light them, but knowing something about oil lanterns, don't see any reason they wouldn't work, however this isn't a guarantee. just presenting things honestly. The metal. Nowhere, on either lantern shows any sign of rust. However they are a brown color. Paint appears to be old, in some places chipping, or peeling off. There are the usual signs of true usage. Wear and tear. Overall appear to be in very good shape. I have not checked them for leakage, however on inspection, I don't see any reason they would leak. I have no idea how old they are. Brass and Glass Antique Oil Lantern British Captain's Chief 1935 Fully Functions
This is one remarkable piece of history. It works too! This brass Captain's lantern for a ship was made in 1935. We have been assured this is the real deal. It has the oil lamp piece that comes out so you can maintain it then right back for those long trips on the sea. This is called the Chief light from Great Britain. It is a great size about 1 foot 3-4 inches high(guessing- it's not in front of me) Very sturdy with the strength bars all around and the glass is all good. This was very well maintained. The latch has been worn off so it closes with a wire loop. This is one I'd love to keep but business is business. With everything so dependant on electricity it would be a great idea to have some back up light that is proven and will last a while. Wish you the best.

Up for sale is an Antique Bronze Royal Lantern. It is also marked B& H on the fill cap. Which I assume is for the Railroad. There isn't a globe with this. Nor handles, but it does have several early 1890's Pat. No on the cap and around the rim. It is in good condition with some green corrosion around the bottom and small dents in the body. It has scratches and other usage marks. But I don't see any cracks or holes. The coil springs on the inside need to be reset when a new wick is put in place. It is empty and untested. Antique Sailing Ship's Cabin Oil Lantern on Gimble with Wick & Hurricane Globe
This is a small sailing ship cabin copper/brass oil lamp with glass hurricane globe mounted in a gimble for full motion on a rolling vessel. I have no idea of it's exact age but likely from the late 19th century. It's tarnished and I haven't attempted to clean it up. It measures approximately 7 1/2/ H by 3 1/2" W and would stand away from a ships bulkhead approximately 4 1/2" and weighs approximately 1 pound. It has the glass hurricane globe intact as well as a frabric wick so all you would need to do is fill it with keroscene(or whale oil? and light it up. Wonderful old lamp from the days of sail.
