It is very heavy bronze ... moreweighing 40lb and is 12" in diameter and 15 inches tall. it has a heavy clear glass fresnel lens a separate inner red lens which sits about an inch inside the fresnel lens. the red lens has a few cracks, but seems to be stable. the only marking that I can find on this is the number "3" stamped at the lug where the cord exits. this light is wired to accept a standard edison base bulk. The cord is 10 feet long and in decent shape, but is a little stiff from age. As shown in the photos, the cap flips open to access the bulb.

I cannot find any others to compare it to on ebay and there are no markings on the light other than on the socket inside the lamp and on the side as shown are the letters P&O. I am not sure if this was a gas type light or not. Although it has a socket where a bulb or something would have fit but on the side of the light it looks like a flint or sparker. The light will need the chrome trim cleaned.Sorry I am not much help here, please see the pictures and maybe someone out there can tell me more. The works are mounted on a nice piece of oak and there are exposed wires etc on the back. It appears the glass is missing however the clip holder to hold the glass guard in is in the metal hood. The metal hood is hinged and has holes to let the heat escape. The light measures 11" long x 5" wide and weighs unpackaged 3-1/2 pounds.At the top of the light is a knob that can be turned to control the brightness i am guessing. ANTIQUE MARINE NAUTICAL BRASS BINNACLE KEROSENE LAMP LIGHT- This used vintage binnacle lamp probably dates to around the mid to late 1800's. It measures 4 and 1/2" high. And the base measures 2 1/8" wide. There are 2 small dents in the top dome, which can be popped out should you decide to do so(I will leave that up to the successful bidder) The burner has a wick and the wick turner works most of the time(a couple of times when I tried it it did not work but that may be due to the wick being so old. It is in good condition,with no holes.This is a great, old marine light. I could not find any makers mark. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 5 DAY AUCTION. Vintage Beehive Glass Boat Dock Passage Marine Light Replacement Antique Covers
I don't know much about these but they are thick glass shades for marine usage. Decks, docks, landscaping, they measure 4-1/8” H x 3-1/8” in diameter, nice glass beehive pattern. Feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer. They have a dusty layer that would easily wipe clean. In good condition, there are a few glass slivers that have chipped of on the inside around the little hole. Each have one very small sliver chip on the outside around the small hole. Each have one or two even smaller chip around the outer edge of the large hole. They are extremly tiny but I wanted to mention everything. Antique PERKO Brass Adjustable Marine Spot Light Boat Search Light Nautical
This is a really cool old Perko marine spotlight or searchlight. It is solid brass and I think the light holder is a cast red brass. I couldn't find anything on the light that a magnet would stick too. It seems to be structurally in good condition. The brass could use cleaning and polishing as there's a lot of patina to the brass. The thin strip around the top and bottom of the light have some small slits. Maybe for fitting the brass around the body of the light. The light is also adjustable to be able to aim the light. The half label on the back is a Perko label. Heavy and well made. It has a GE bulb and I was told it works. The wiring is frayed and you should definitely have it checked out or rewired if you're planning on using it as a light though. See the pictures for more detail. Up for auction is this old P ERKO ships lamp. It must be the largest lamp made by Perko. It stands an impressive 2 4" tall. With handle raised. M easures 11 1/2" wide and 9 1/2" deep. This could have been a cargo lamp. Steaming l ight. Anchor light, or a stern light. Not really sure. Somewhere on it's journey it was electrified and has a bulb inside and the burner is not present. It has a thick Fresnel lens that is turning purpl e with age and it has a crack in it that is stable. Doesn't detract much from the old lamp. Yes. patina and silver paint of the past. 13" Bottom flange to the top. 4"5/8" Dia across cap not including the spots of the bolts. 9-S-4326-L Number on lid. Looks to be made of aluminum. Added 4 pictures of the lens. For you to check out. Clear lens looks to be in really good condition. No cracks that we can see. Red lens has a crack in it and no chips just the crack. Picture of it added. Did not unbolt it. Each lens may be about 4"1/4" to 4"3/8" Dia. And about 4"3/16" tall. That is a close estimate of size. Again we did not take it apart. This heavy bronze lamp has sliding panels side and bottom which both slide properly. Top threads off to reveal fixture which was probably a fixed porcelain socket originally. Stands 23 1/2" tall to top of hanger. About 14" wide head on. Top is bent in. I have seen others with the same thing on them and believe it was purposely bent like that to fit on the ships they were used on since its not only this one I've seen like that. Here is a Large 8 inch tall RED LENSE REAL GLASS marked Corning on glass Nautical SHIP. DOCK, or PIER Nautical Light. This 8 inch tall lamp has a 3 1/2 inch tall RED glass bezile lense, There are only a couple of specs on the glass that appears to be in very good condition NO CRACKS. The base is 6 inches across and the light is very heavy duty. Not sure if it is military as it appears to be somewhat grey in coloring. There is a number 9-S 4473-L in raised lettering on top. There is a 64 inch heavy duty cord with some type of plug in socket end see photo 5. Not sure if from a ship, dock or pier. Not sure if it works or what type of power supply it used. Suppose it could be rewired. REALLY NICE CONDITION VINTAGE NAUTICAL PIECE. Not sure if it could have been from the RAILROAD? Large Antique Vintage Blue Red Marine Navigational Boat Bow light with Flag hole
This is a very heavy and large bow light for a boat. It weighs almost 4 lbs. before packing. It has a red glass lens on one side and a blue glass lens on the other. The housing I think is solid bronze that was chrome plated with a gorgeous patina from use and age. There is a spot in the top to place a flag on a pole(about 5/8" hole) It's in very nice vintage condition just the way it is with the patina or it can be rechromed to make it look like new. It's about 7 1/4" long X 4 3/4" X 3 1/4" tall. You don't see many this size. I was told it was removed from a Chris Craft boat But I can not confirm that. Sold as-is. It's a antique Perko flashlight boat light. Measures 14" tall. Would clamp onto any boat or dingy. The only damage is in pic#5. It has some cracking in thread area. So if you put batteries in it, it pops open because threads won't give a firm fit. No corrosion, and takes batteries. Lights nicely, see pic#10. Looks brass and tin. It's been wired for electric but there if no really alterations from that alteration, I just has a single wire through the top. NO CRACKS, DENTS or RUST. This is just in great condition! 19 inches tall! I have not seen any of these with the milky glass. Only clear and red glass. These are referred to as"onion" due to the globe. We are offering for your consideration a large antique ships lantern manufactured by A WARD HENDRICKSOM& CO. of Brooklyn NY. The lens is a beautiful cobalt blue. The lantern is large. 16 inches tall 10.5 inches deep and is 13 inches wide including the holders for the rope handle. The lid is solid brass and screws on and off well. The body of the lantern is hand soldered throughout, galvanized tin. It has been painted a bronze color a long time ago; it may well be original to the lantern. It is quite heavy weighing a little over 16 pounds. It has been electrified at one time and it does light well. There is one very small chip in the lens about 1/4 inch square.
