This listing is for an UNUSUAL ANTIQUE PERKO NAUTICAL MARINE SHIP BOW LANTERN WITH BLUE AND RED Globes. I cannot find any markings but most of these were made by the famous Perko Marine Lantern Company of Brooklyn. New York. This handsome old lamp has a brass top with ring. Two separate red and blue GLOBES with divider, and a hanger on the back. It is about 10" tall to the top of hanger and 8" wide at the divider. This would be a great addition to any lantern collection. Decor or it would make a TERRIFIC gift. Pair of 2- Old Brass ship lanterns. Made by the PERKINS MARINE LAMP CORP. out of Brooklyn New York. Brass Has a beautiful natural aged patina. The original glass lens is starting to turn a very slight amethyst color. The lanterns inside were made by E. MILLER Co. And are marked. Look at the pictures closely. This is exactly the way I found them. I think they would polish up nicely. They measure about 17-1/2" tall(including the bail) and each weighs close to 9 pounds. In excellent condition. And would clean up nicely if you choose to do so. Both show expected wear. And have a few dings. Overall in Very Good Condition.

Antique HELVICS SHIPS LANTERN BLUE GLASS , WOW!!!
This HELVICS SHIPS LANTERN has been electrified but honestly if I were going to keep it. I'd remove the light and use a contained candle but that's just me. Either way as you can see, it is very nice to look at. I believe that it is white metal with a brass and copper patina. The patina is great and this lantern displays beautifully. I think that blue is starboard but I could be wrong. You can see the small chips to the left side of the glass but you have to really look hard to see them and they in no way detract from the beauty of this 100 plus year old lantern.this is a very good quality lantern and it took a while to figure out that it might not be brass. I made a very small scratch at the very bottom of the front that you will never see and I looked at it with a jewelers loop and it looks like white metal. On the lantern there ... moreis what appears to be a thin layer very old tar or something black spots. I took a lot of it off with the back of a spoon. It kinda just pops off. I have no clue as to why this was put on but most is gone and the lamp looks great. Antique 1870 s Nautical Ships Lamp tubular lantern Dietz railroad? lighthouse?
I do not know the maker of this lantern. It looks like a Dietz but no maker marks. I think its nautical. Lighthouse, railroad maybe, but it has a fresnal globe. It has been in my collection for 20 years or so. Super solid. It stands 20 inches tall and 8 inches wide at the base. 8 pounds. It is a Hot blast tubular no0 Signal lamp. It has the original burgundy Red paint with some of the original stenciling stating. Tubular Signal Lamp on one side top, on the other I think, No0. The paint is missing in spots throughout. Showing silver bare metal and surface rust. The right tube has one slight ding.the left tube is dented outside, at about 2/3 of the way up at the lamp, at about the shroud solder joint, The original tube solder is all intact and solid. The cage is original soldered with one loose solder. minor' Pitting is concentrated to ... morethe bell bottom. It is not a structural issue. There are minor dents at the bell bottom base front. It has a brass plate with the model and patent dates as pictured. The original globe has no chips. Cracks and is crystal clear with one bubble. The original smoke baffle is still inside the chimney section. It also states tubular marine signal lamp with may 28 186? jany 7 1868 under the font between the hot blast tubes. The font is in real nice condition.Missing the filler cap. The burner and wick function well.

Large 15" Tall Antique Ship Nautical Maritime LANTERN Light PERKO? Restore Parts
Offered for sale is this old antique Maritime Ship Lantern for restoration or parts. I do not know who the maker was but it has a strong resemblance to some of the Perko Lamps that I am seeing on Ebay. It stands just under 15" tall. 7 1/2" wide and 7" deep. The ribbed glass is in good overall condition showing no cracks but could use a good cleaning. The original kerosene burner and font is missing and the lamp has been converted to electricity, but it does need to be re-wired as the wiring is old. This is a great candidate for restoration or to be used as parts. The bottom panel is hinged but is missing the slide rod to keep it closed which should be an easy fix. It is a rather heavy lantern weighing just over 6 pounds. Antique Kerosene Lantern Clear Globe Embury Oil Lamp #210 Supreme Warsaw NY
Up for auction is this rusty but still cool antique Supreme#210 lamp by the Embury Manufacturing Company of Warsaw. New York. Marked on the base as shown. Lamp measures 13 inches tall without the handle and is 6 inches across at the base. As you can see from the pictures the metal portions of this lamp are well and truly rusted. However. I could find no holes or weak areas and the metal frame and base are still solid. The lamp still has a cloth wick but the adjustment knob is rusted into position. I did not attempt to fix it. The cap for the tank is also rusted but it does still unscrew and then screw back in securely. There is no gas or oil in the tank. Metal hand is secure and swings smoothly. Antique Perkins 6" Onion Lantern
An original Perkins 6" Onion Lantern in excellent condition. Embossed on the clear globe is PERKINS 6" It comes complete with it's original twist lock oil burner base. On both sides of the burner knob is labeled PERKINS M.L.Co. B.KLYN N.Y. On the bottom of the base. Although very difficult to see the name PERKINS is lightly stamped. So every marking on the entire assembly that I have found has been mentioned. The base, cage and top have been painted black. The very top where the handle attaches has been pushed down at a slight angle possibly from a fall or by being dropped. There are no cracks or chips in the globe. The lamp stands 13" high with the handle up and the cage is 8" wide. A complete, all original, Perkins 6" Onion Lamp in excellent condition.

Brass ships running lights tri color oil kerosene lantern WEDGE true antique d/l
This is a true nautical antique from the 1800's(or possibly earlier) It was used long before ships had electrical lighting. It uses an oil or kerosene lamp which illuminates the 3 glass lenses which have no cracks or damage. The lamp is marked WEDGE and the lantern has a hallmark which reads D over L in a diamond shape. This would make a great gift for the collector of nautical gear or a nautical museum. There is a wick attached but the turning wheel is frozen. This lamp could benefit from a professional cleaning but I NEVER attempt to restore an antique item as the new owner will have his own ideas. Could be electrified to be used as a porch light or mood lamp.

RARE 1900'S ANTIQUE NAUTICAL- BOAT SIGNAL LANTERN - BRASS - ZINC- OIL BURNING
For your bidding is a Rare P and A Mfg. Antique Nautical Boat Signal Lantern with Brass Oil Burner. Font Lighting Popular in the 1900's to communicate to other ships. Or ship to shore before Marconi was invented and used. This beautiful lamp was given to me by my Aunt when I was a child. Both my Aunt and Uncle were avid collectors of memorabilia from Great Lakes Ships and Freighters. Often they would buy the inside remains of a ship when it was to be scrapped. Removing steering wheels. Telegraphs, chad burns, lanterns, name plates, ship wheels, compasses, steam whistles, you name it. Anything that had value to be saved later and become collectible. I have no doubt this piece came off a ship. I just do not know which one. This is a beautiful piece. Which I feel is museum quality, and should belong to a serious collector. That is why I'am ... morelisting it. It is in Very Good condition for its age. Era and vintage. There is some slight wear which is understandable for a piece this old. I have not polished the Brass in years. There are no dents. Or dings on the piece, a few minor spots of rust, on the inside signal shutter, behind the lens, which I'm sure would clean up with little effort. The 3" glass lens is flawless, with no scratches, cracks, or chips. The door opens. And closes as does the spring signal shutter. The belt clip is complete, along with the two adjustable carrying handles. Inside you will find the original burner. And wick. The top unscrews to fill it with lamp oil and it is adjustable for brightness. This does have Boat Signal Lantern stamped above the hinged door. Perko is NOT the only company who made these lanterns. The only markings on this one are on the burner wick adjustment which says P and A Mfg. Waterbury Conn, Usa. Which stands for Plume and Atwood Manufacturing. The company was established in 1869. The lantern comes AS IS and as shown. It is literally a barn find! It was found in an old barn in Dover FL. that the wife and I picked with the permission of the owners. This piece is rusty and old and we call that rusty gold. The red glass lens is CRACKED IN HALF and CHIPED as shown. There are chips inside from the lens. This would make a grate decorator or shelf piece. I am not sure the exact usage this had when new but I believe it to possibly be a buoy marker light or the light off of a large ship. There is no electrical parts in side. There is a mounting bracket on the bottom and there is conduit to allow wiring up the ... morecenter. It is 11" tall. 10" deep and 8" wide with a rusty steel case. The cracked lens will be taped with painters tape to insure no further damage occurs in shipping.
