This lamp is from England. The John Scott name was very popular the English maritime days. His name was synonomous with aristocracy. It has no dents or major blemishes. It doesn't have the original chimney or shade Otherwise; it is in very good condition. It has a double wick and two seperate adjusting knobs for each wick. From an estate sale is this very unique Antique Vtg Brass Wall Mounted Oil or Kerosene Lamp. It measures 15" tall and is about 5" at its widest. The two glass window panes are intact and there is a panel that you open to access the wick of the lamp. The wick does move up and down ... moresmoothly and you remove the top to access the oil reservoir. There are no dents in the brass or damage just normal wear as seen in photos. You simply mount the round brass circle to the wall and slip the oil lantern into it. The lantern appears to be made of mostly brass with the exception of the reflector piece. Glass and the heat distributor in the top. There is no makers mark on the piece that I can ascertain. The makers mark was probably on the bottom of the burner that is no longer with the lantern. A couple of the solder joints for the cage across the glass are no longer in place. The metal reflector plate is still in the lantern. Some corrosion to its' finish in places. Looks like the lantern was dropped at one time and the top bracket was bent in. Anchor Ships Lantern(Not a Reproduction) This is a very large antique ships lantern marked as"Anchor" To the best of my knowledge it has all parts needed to burn oil. Please view pictures to augment my description. It is not electrified and it is NOT a reproduction. Lamp measures a stately 23" to top of handle. 18" tall without handle and at its widest a 10" diameter. With the exception of a dent in the brass at the base the lantern is in excellent condition. Lantern inner chimney has a couple of chips and a crack at the bottom where it sits in base. This can be easily replace but I beleive that this one is original so I will not replace. Brass lantern frame and burner are fine with NO major damage or problems. Original glass globe apparently was broken at some point in its life and replaced with a home-made one made from a glass jar. Up for auction is a pair of 2 antique Maritime passageway heavy brass/bronze ship lights with cobalt blue glass globes with sliding doors and a handle for hanging. There are doors that slide on the lamp to open and close the cobalt blue glass globe. The base is all heavy brass/bronze and has a threaded top with moveable handle. On the top of the lamp it has a threaded fitting marked. 9-S-5010-L Type XXII Size B. The threaded top of the light has 9-S-2108-L. There is a gasket with washer and light socket inside, so changing the bulb is very easy. The cobalt blue globe is very heavy, please check pictures and measures 4 ½” diameter x 5” long with rounded bottom. On the rim of the cobalt blue globe it has Type H 2034 L P.G. Co. There are no chips or cracks on the globe. Underneath on the top ring it has 2099-L-3 and on the bottom section ... moreis 2099-L-4. The heavy base contains the sliding door to open and close. The bottom panel also opens and closes. With handle up the lamp stands 11 ¼” tall and the base is 5 ½” diameter. Both lamps have the same numbers and are identical. Antique Brass Kerosene Running Lights
Made by Wilcox Crittenden and I took them off a 1947 44 foot wooden motor-sailer named the Seahawk that was built by Fred Smith in Sewaren. NJ. I believe them to be older. Even though they are brass the bottoms are pretty corroded(see pic) and they do not have the burners. These lamps have a wonderful patina and would make beautiful decorative pieces for your nautical collection or an awesome addition to any vintage boat. Dimensions are about 7.5 X 12.5. For sale is a vintage/antique brass and copper maritime ship's lantern made by Anchor in England. It's in great shape. Obviously used and showing normal wear and tear with lots of patina. The lantern has been retrofitted with an electrical ceramic light socket although it does not come with a cord. Beautiful globe- would be a wonderful light fixture for any collector or nautical buff. The older piece has very heavy obvious use wear throughout metal is smooth no ridges left. Both have wear are dirty and tarnished throughout. Both weigh 1 pound 14 ounces each so a good copy I would say. Could also be 2nd piece was handled less but my though its a copy. The bases are exact underneath so maybe just a replaced ball and stem holder.

Antique Brass Nautical Ship's Lantern with Vintage Patina
Lamps are. For the most part, boring creatures. They are quite useful for reassuring yourself that there are, in fact, no murderous clowns hidden in your guest room, but when it comes to design, your standard, run of the mill lamp can be a bit yawn-inducing. Luckily, there are enterprising people out there that like to make lamps out of awesome things, hence how this Ship's Lamp was born. I am unsure whether this was once oil-burning, but regardless, electric is where it's at right now, due to the fact that we have it, however, once the zombie apocalypse happens, this lovely artifact will be rendered useless. Just plug this bad boy in to cast a warm glow across your room, and pretend that you are actually on a sailboat, or if you are lucky enough to OWN a boat, hey, why not stick it in there. Pair Huge Brass Antique/Vtg Port/Starboard Navigation Lanterns-DURKEE-18" Tall Up for your consideration is a pair of huge brass antique or vintage ships port& starboard navigation lanterns by DURKEE. They measure approx. 11" W X 18" H-See images compared to 2 liter soda bottle. Both lanterns have their original light socket fixtures. However they were cut to be removed from the ship and one of the lanterns has an electric cord added, but easily removed with no modification of the lantern. There is a beautiful patina to the brass. I'm not sure how old they are, but probably 30's-40's. They are very heavy and well made. The mirrors attached to inside back of lantern are spotted from age, there are a few dings in the brass-see images. One is totally complete. The other is missing the two brass bands that hold ... morethe glass in. These bands appear simple to replicate and attach with small screws. Also the glass has a small chip on the inside of the glass. The screw in cap on top of one lantern is marked DURKEE MARINE PRODUCTS CORP STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. the other is not. Both glasses are marked DURKEE MARINE PROD and have bubbles in the glass. They both may be missing some sort of band around the top as there is discoloration there and some holes. These would be awesome restored and either used on a ship or decor for a man cave or nautically inspired room! It would be interesting to know what size ship these came off of as they are larger than any I saw in my searches. Please email with any questions or any knowledge you may have on these lanterns. It is marked"No. L688" and"Not Under Command" The lantern is mostly made of brass and copper. The glass in the middle is in good shape with no chips or cracks and has a red lens inside signifying that it would have hung on the port side. Overall it is in good shape except for a dent in the copper lid that looks like it could be easily popped out. Comes complete with the removable oil reservoir and and burner. Antique Brass / Glass Marine Oil Lantern Case- Nice Nautical Decor
A nice old brass and glass oil lantern with a brass cage over glass design. This originally held a small brass oil lamp which I do not have. The lantern has all four sides. The side that opens does not have the original hinge. When at rest on a table the door stays shut just fine. The brass edge that held the hinge pin slips inside and. When you close the hasp, the door stays in place. You may want to put a hinge on it to get it to swing open like it is supposed to. Either way, perfectly serviceable as is. We use it outdoors with an outdoor candle and it has a nice nautical look. It has a wood and brass handle for carrying. Overall in good condition but could use a good polishing and a cleaning. The glass is all good but one small corner has some loss on the inside(see close up photo) Obviously there are some minor dings and bends in the ... morebrass. This is being sold as a decorative item only and not a rare collectible antique unless you want to restore it. It is 13 inches tall not including the handle and 15 1/2 inches counting the handle. Antique Ships Lantern in as found condition. I am not an expert here. Tried to do some research and found similar Lanterns made by Anchor and Meteorite. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The Lantern is 15 + inches tall/ 18 inches if you include the handle and 8 inches wide. Made of Brass. The latching piece on the top of the Lantern looks to be copper. There is some light chipping on the Lens Globe but nothing serious, No cracks or breaks. Could use a good cleaning or leave the patina. Very impressive. I have a pair of rare vintage brass Perko marine ship's lamps or lanterns. They used to be kerosene or oil but were converted to electric. They are in wonderful shape with no dents or damage and everything is intact. they do however have wear that is consistent with age. Each lantern has a finger lamp inside that is removable as shown in the pictures. A 4 inch reflector/ mirror, and 3 glass panels. Each is also stamped with a brass tag that reads" PERKO Manufacturer's Reg. Trademark Perkin's Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Miami Florida USA" on the front and another stamp on the back that reads the same thing. They both measure almost 14" tall. one being about 1/4" taller than the other one. You can definitely tell that these gems were handmade. These are very cool nautical decorations or gifts!

Offered for sale is a antique/ vintage Perko brass pie shaped marine lamp. The lamp stands about 12-1/2" tall and with the top ring is 14-1/2" tall. It is about 8" wide across the front. The top features a pierced"lighthouse" shaped vent. The glass is green. Ribbed and convex shaped. There are bars in front of the glass. The"door" to the interior has a bolt action slide. The interior still has the oil and wick original lighting mechanism. The front plate holding the door is bolted on. Super rare. Get it before it's gone! I have a beautiful. Pristine, antique brass marine ship light fixture. Dates before 1910 when they no longer had raised lettering on the glass globe. It's been wired for electric but there if no really alterations from that alteration, I just has a single wire through the top. NO CRACKS, DENTS or RUST. This is just in great condition! 19 inches tall! I have not seen any of these with the milky glass. Only clear and red glass. These are referred to as"onion" due to the globe.
