Very nice light for a boat signal. This looks that it is a piece of a larger lantern that had removable red and green glass lights. It is made to fit into a corner. A nice replacement for a broken piece. A good stand alone decoration, or can be used to create something new. It is 5" high and 4 1/2" at widest point. Antique Nautical Brass Lighthouse Lamp PAISTE Fixture-Keeper-House-Boat-Waves
I'm quite sure this classic lighthouse lamp is over 100 years old. I found the"PAISTE" label when I removed the glass cover and looked at the socket. This company produced the lion's share of their products in the 19th century. The photographs give you an idea of the details that give this lighthouse life. The keeper is holding his lamp as he looks to sea as waves lap onto shore upon his boots. You can see the house and a rowboat pulled ashore. The tones of bronze. Brass and copper show up under different lighting. It works as it should with no problems with the chain. Only a little fraying to the cord at it's base is present. The full height is 13 1/3 inches, and it's 7 1/4 inches across. I scoured the internet to find another and was unsuccessful.

Here is a BEAUTY of an old VINTAGE/ANTIQUE PERKO ship/ boat running light. This is an ORIGINAL BRONZE or Brass not sure very heavy 6 pounds. This is a HUGE 10 inch long x 5 1/2 wide x 5 inch tall ORIGINAL PERKO. This has a clear glass and the GLASS is in MINT CONDITION Has a really nice PURPLE TINT TO THE GLASS FROM YEARS OUT ON THE WATER. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The Bronze has a few chrome specs remaining in a couple of spots and a couple of faint very minor spots-scratches. There is a mark on the rim photo 6 and there are a couple of foundry pour marked when it was made photo 7. Has polished up very nice. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE STUNNER OF A PIECE from a time gone by. I am not sure if this might have been a STERN LIGHT. There is NO light in the housing but the socket is there as well as the circular marked PERKO light plug ... morephoto 12 reads PERKO. This is a great Perkins"PERKO" Marine lantern or bow light. The lantern is about 18" tall counting the handle. The lens is heavy red glass and can be seen from all sides(360 degrees) The lantern works off of oil or kerosene. The reservoir and wick are in tack and working. The Perkins metal tag is still in place(too dark to get into photo) There are some small nicks and I can see what looks like brass under the black paint. I believe the paint is original to the lantern. The lantern is heavy. Over 7 pounds. Lanterns like this were used on large ships as a warning light or bow light. Antique ship nautical boat electric lamp light. Brass bronze coppper? Oakford
Up for auction to U.S. customers only is an old ship's light with Fresnel glass(no chips or cracks to glass) It stands 15 inches tall and the wire cage is 8 inches across. I am not sure if the primary metal is brass. Copper or bronze- or a combination-but a magnet doesn't stick to it. It is very heavy. It is made by Oakford. There is a light bulb socket inside but it probably isn't original and, without the cord plug, I can't test it. If it was originally electric powered, then the wire outlet on the side looks like it held a much larger power cord. The lid screws onto the top for access to the inside. I'm not sure how it was used on board the vessel- some other listings refer to it as a mast light, others describe it for use on dock pilings, others say it lit the passageways on the ship. If anyone knows for sure, let ... moreme know and I'll add it to the listing. Overall it seems in very good condition with a few relatively minor scratches to the lower finish and, of course, the green discoloration which some people call patina and want it left on the piece so I didn't try to clean up that section(new owner can do that) I don't know anything else about this item so please ask questions. Unique and storied history- removed from a boathouse on the Saint Clair River in the 1970s. After having been used extensively in the 1920s on a wood boat on Saint Clair Lake and River, and Detroit River between Detroit, MI and Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Shows usage. Hello.Im guessing this is from an old Chris Craft boat but not sure.The top of the blue glass is marked NML Co.The inside porcelain electrical piece looks fine and it appears to take a regular size light bulb as seen.Thw wire that comes out the bottom back is not there.I hope someone can use this piece or just the blue shade.The bottom part is brass and where the brass meets the blue shade it is worn so the glass does not stay attatched well.It could sit straight up and be fine but when you turn on the side it would fall off.You could improvise some how but I'll leave that up to you.Hope someone can use this.Would be neat to also hook up wire and use as in house display.Enjoy!

Antique Solid Brass Boat Lamp Early 1900's from Staten Island
This lamp may be handmade. It has a shade and it was made to hold a wick and kerosene. But the key that pulls the wick up is missing. Still it is a nice addition to a collector of maritime equipment. There is a piece of tape holding a white sticker: Old Brass Boat Lite $56- and then three initials that I cannot make out. I found it in my aunt's attic. She grew up in South Jersey and her father worked a sloop. Her husband was captain of the ferry that ran back and forth from Staten Island to Manhattan.

Antique Vintage Red Bow Boat Light Mounted on Clamp Port Side Maritime Works
This is most likely considered an antique(50+ years old) The only stamp on it. Is on the"on switch" and it simply says, Made In USA" I bought it from an elderly man that was down-sizing. It was described as a"Red Bow" boat light. It's for the"port" side of the boat. It's battery operated and the stainless steel housing is in very good condition, having maybe 2 small"pit marks" The red plastic lens is also in great shape, having only 1 or 2"rub marks" The metal clamp is a flat colored metal and would clean up nicely, there is one small area of surface rust(1-2" on the inside, but the finish is smooth in that area so there is no structural damage, at all. The"turn screw" that tightens the clamp to the boat, is bent and could use a bit of straightening out. The light ... morestill works, I turned it on and took pictures of it, lit up. The light, itself, measures nearly 7" in length. The clamp's inside width is 2 5/8" It's a really great light. I've looked at a number of boat lights online and have yet to find a similar one. It would make a great addition to the collection of someone that collects maritime items!

Antique unique boat bow running light/handmade/late 1800s - early 1900s
This is a rare. Unique handmade bow running light that I would say dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is galvanized metal in a triangular shape- there is a door in the back that slides up to install illumination. One the front, there are two loops which must have been used to attach it to something on the bow. I have never seen a bow light like this and living on the Northeast Coast, I see a lot of them. I believe this is a handmade effort. As for illumination, this may or may not have had a simple burner- it may also have had only candle power. It has never been electrified. Inside, there are three posts that would have held either a small burner of candle. Size is 10" high, by 8" across the back by 6&1/2" deep. Condition is as found and as shown. Please look at all photos to form your own idea of quality and condition. ... moreThere are traces of old paint. The green glass has many bubbles in it- the red, less so. I would say the red may be later than the green. In addition, there is a hairline crack/break of the red but it is quite stable as it sits and is barely noticeable. I would say this lamp is in very good condition for its age. Antique Brass Boat Lamp Re-purposed or displayed. This lamp will make your day with its great patina and turn-of-the century character. DESCRIPTION The maker. 20th Century Mfg. Co moved from New York to New Jersey around 1911, dating this lamp to the early 1900's. Along with maritime lamps, the company made lights for bicycles, motorcycles and cars. The lamp is constructed of brass with a glass lens and glass reflector in the back. It was powered by acetylene gas. It measures about 8" high. 4.75" deep and 4.25" across the face. The condition is a bit rough. The back glass is cracked and stained. The door hinges are broken, the bottom screw is rusted and there are some bends and dings. Antique Boat Search Light, Half Mile Ray, Model 833, by The Portable Light Co.
This is a Half Mile Ray 12 volt Marine Cabin Roof Search/Spot light. Model 833 made by the Portable Light Company. This light is in beautiful condition for it's age and works. All parts are there including the big chrome knobs that are located on the bottom of the shaft inside the vessel cabin with which to swivel the light 360 degrees and to raise and lower the beam angle. It was removed from a fresh water yacht, The chrome has minor pitting and wear as is to be expected with this age, no dents or damage. The chrome is peeling from the bronze base casting. The gears to raise and lower the light are in excellent shape and nothing is missing. I will carefully pack this light and ship to you via USPS economy shipping.
