This lanterns provides fantastic emergency lighting or like their oil wick counterparts. These electric lanterns can provide historic and authentic nautical decor. There is a thick clear glass lens which shows an illuminated arc of 225 degrees. Each contains an interior corrugated silvered brass reflector. The oil burning pot and wick unit that was serviced from the bottom of the lanterns has now been converted into an electric fixture. There is room inside for a full size 40w light bulb. Some the applications that our electric lanterns have been used for include, wall lanterns, outdoor lanterns, ships wheel chandeliers, exterior lighting, ceiling fixtures and end table lamps. They also make perfect patio/deck electric lamps. You can also choose to mount them on your wall or post. WARD HENDRICKSON MARINE BOAT SHIPS LANTERN LIGHT COLBALT BLUE LENS Antique
We are offering for your consideration a large antique ships lantern manufactured by A WARD HENDRICKSOM& CO. of Brooklyn NY. The lens is a beautiful cobalt blue. The lantern is large. 16 inches tall 10.5 inches deep and is 13 inches wide including the holders for the rope handle. The lid is solid brass and screws on and off well. The body of the lantern is hand soldered throughout, galvanized tin. It has been painted a bronze color a long time ago; it may well be original to the lantern. It is quite heavy weighing a little over 16 pounds. It has been electrified at one time and it does light well. There is one very small chip in the lens about 1/4 inch square.

It is OLD! Look at the twisted rope style connection between the wall mounting plate and the old bow light. Of course the red and green bow light lenses are glass. I believe a company that made bow lights also offered these lamps. Maybe Perko Kainer. Or Wilcox Crittenden. There is an on/off switch on the side of the bow light itself. It has a red(port) lens and a green(starboard) lens. Maybe the green is really blue. In between is a removable brass screen. It is 7.5” tall. The top has 2 holes on opposite sides. It must have had a handle. The burner is missing. There is nothing in the bottom. You would be able to electrify it easily. There 2 dents on the red side above the glass. According to eBay policy. Antique boat running light on aluminum base up for bid. This light needs re-chromed as it has some surface problems but the two light lens are in tact with no chipping. No sure what brand this old light is or how old it is. Anyone restoring a vintage to antique boat probably will know. The bracket screws are rusted so I can't get them off otherwise I would of shown a picture from underside. The light itself is about 8 to 8 1/2" front to back and 3 3/8" wide. Antique PERKO lantern. The screw-on cap looks to be brass and the rest of it appears to be galvanized. The red plastic lens has a piece broken off it in the upper corner. There is a bulb inside but the filament looks broken so it would have to be replaced when the wiring is fixed. There is a large dent in the back of the lamp. I think it could be pressed in an arbor press to look a lot better. There's some rust. Some dirt, some paint and that's how things go on ships. Vintage lantern would great in your collection. ANTIQUE VINTAGE MILK GLASS AND ALUMINUM MOUNTED BOAT LIGHT
Vintage mounted boat light. The milk glass shade screws onto the housing that looks to be cast aluminum. The aluminum has been painted grey at some point and is chipping off in some areas. The socket is encased within the housing and is mounted to a 4 1/2" diameter of wood. The light is 4 1/4" deep extending from the wall and the light shade is 4 1/2" diameter. There are no markings on them.

It was built in the early 1900’s by Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. And has their name, city, state, and the“PERKO” trademark stamped on the belt clip. Also, BOAT SIGNAL” in a very large font) is stamped just above hinged door. This lantern features two adjustable handles, belt clip, 3” round clear bullseye lens, and a rotating shutter. Included is the original brass oil font tank and burner, which has“PERKO U.S.A. signed on the wick adjusting knob. Overall, the lamp measures 8½” tall x 3½” wide x 5” deep and weighs two pounds. Originally this unit was zinc plated and painted black. The black paint is almost gone and the zinc plating ... moreis still visible in the non-ware areas. Please note that there is a dent in the hinged side of the door. With the paint and plating gone, most of the lead solder joints stand out. Considering its nice original condition the unit would be well worth repainting to the original black finish. Antique boat stern light ready to display
Antique boat stern light made of wood. Glass and metal ready for display. K-S Beehive design glass lens that is 2.75 inches tall including the threads. The diameter of the lens is 2.5 inches. The lamp height is 25 inches and the base is about 5.5 inches square. This pole and lens were found at the bottom of an Indiana lake. Chris Craft and other wooden boat makers used this style of stern light. The distress on the wooden pole and the brass metal add to the charm of this light. I have rewired the pole. Made a matching base, replaced the bulb and added a transformer so that it plugs into a 110 volt wall outlet and lights up while on display. The lens does have a chip missing from the threads. But it does not show when mounted in the metal holder or when lit. The lens mid-waist ring has a flat spot from manufacturing and minor chips and roughness ... morefrom rolling on the bottom of the lake for years. This light would make a great decorative addition to a Nautical-themed room. It also has screw eyes where a flag could be mounted. This piece shows its age which is part of the charm.

ANTIQUE Vtg BRASS BOAT BOW RUNNING LIGHT LAMP LOT OF 2
This is a pair of Antique/Vintage brass boat running lights in fresh estate condition. Please see the photos for condition- there are no makers marks that I can see. The glass lenses are a combo of Red and Green glass. One crack can be seen in one of the glass lenses but no glass is missing so could be glued and still display well- some of the metal fin is missing but as it is at the back of the light it will still display well once it is cleaned. Measures: approx 4 1/2 inches in height and 3 1/2 inches width with fin. Questions welcome. Thanks for looking.

Overall still very nice. If you put on a new plug the lamp works. The lamp weighs 8 pounds. Stands 15" tall. Not counting the top bail handle. Not marked as to maker. Extraordinary Antique Wooden Kerosene "Steam Boat" Lamp
Greetings. This is a remarkable very old wooden Lantern with an elegant white etching of a Steam Boat trudging full speed ahead through the high seas. Steamboats's have been around since the late 1700's. They reached their peak in the mid 1800's and continued on through the 1920's or so. I do not know the age of this lantern but suspect mid-late 1900's and also suspect that it was used on the boat that is portrayed. I could not find another one like it. This lantern is made like a barrel out of hard wood and is quite heavy, it measures 5 1/4" tall and has a circumference of 15" I believe the top and lining are made of brass. There is a very small nick at the top that does not detract from the appearence at all but I want to be descriptive. The over-all condition of this lantern is splendid and the etching is ... morecrisp and bright. The burner is rusted through and is missing one of two metal tabs that held it in place. The metal lantern shows areas of surface rust but is solid and not flimsy in any way, ding on the cupola where the ring is mounted, both pieces of glass in good condition. Antique Military Naval Ship Boat Lantern Light 5293-L-5 USS Savannah
This is a WWII US Naval Ship USS Savannah gray battle lantern. It is in the same condition as it was when it was on the ship. There are scuffs in the paint in some spots exhibiting minimal wear and there is also original dust/dirt adding great patina to the lantern. Some of the dirt and scuffs appear as scratches but are not. Some screws are missing from the top(see photo) but the ones that are there hold the lid on very tightly. There are no dents or dings.except for below the hanging bracket where it came in contact with the hangar. These are minimal. Overall in great shape for over 70 years old! The yellow lens is not cracked or broken and there is a bulb in the light base. The diameter of the lens is 3 3/4 inches. The overall height of the lantern is 10 inches including the handle. The overall depth is 4 inches including the lamp/lens. ... moreThe overall width is 7 3/4 inches. It weighs 5 lbs. Markings on the lantern are as follows: Handle-5293-L-5 Lens cover-5293-L-4 Side of lantern-5293-L-1 It was definitely from the USS Savannah from the late'30's to'40's since the man we got it from was retired Navy serving on that ship and acquired the lamp prior to the ship's overhall. Salvaged from the AP168 USS Gage The Last Journey for the USS Gage By E.B. Fletcher On Thursday. July 23, 2009, the aged creaking hulk of the once proud USS Gage slowly made her way from the James River Reserve Fleet for her last journey to Brownsville, Texas where she will be demolished. The Gage stoically cooperated with the McAllister tugs which were assigned to tow her from Hampton Roads. The Gage's weather beaten hull was blotched with rust hiding any prior Navy gray paint. Her anchors were gone and the only visible sign of any life aboard this forgotten lady were the remnants of an abandoned Osprey nest cradled within one of her forward masts. The Gage(APA-168) ... morewas an amphibious/attack transport designed to sail to the site of amphibious operations carrying assault troops and support equipment during World War II. Measures 12" tall by 9" wide. This lamp weights 5 lbs. The screw on lid& handle weight 2lbs. I have left exterior as found. It gives this piece character. This is an interesting old lantern. Made from tin and with a glass lens. It reads BOAT SIGNAL LANTERN on the front. When you open the lens, there is a spring loaded lever that slides back to reach the burner. Mirrored on the back side of this. I see no maker marks. The lantern measures 8 3/4" in height and is 3 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. Original black paint shows quite a bit of wear, but the lantern is intact. Neat old lantern.
