Green glass fishing float-- 4 inch
This is a beautiful grass green 4 inch hand blown float. It's glass is heavy& has swirls and bubbles typical of hand blown glass items. It has a very light film on the inside-looks like it had moisture in it at the time it was blown that dried prior to its being sealed. It has the film over about a quarter of it. The rest is speckles. This does not interfere with color. Is has a large rub mark on the pontil. I think it is authentic but not used for fishing. It's in great shape& is definitely vintage as I purchased it second hand in the late'80s. Net is not original. It's a great piece to add to any nautical, glass or float collection. Posted with

This is a very nice Buck Brothers#45 V parting Chisel made in England with a 3/4 inch blade. The tool is 10 inches long with a 5 inch blade. The finish on the handle is in excellent condition. But there is a repaired crack on both sides of the handle as shown in the pictures. The cast steel blade fits snugly in the handle. The steel on the blade is in excellent condition with no spots or rust. The carving tool is part of a set which was my Grandfather's. This is an old antique medium purple lightning rod ball. It measures 4 1/2" across and the rod hole is 1" It is in great condition with no cracks or breaks. The collar rings do have normal age chipping as shown.There are some bubbles in the glass th at is common with old glass. There is a little residue inside from being out on the roof for years. There is a mold line that it appears it is cracked about 1" down. It is not a hairline crack but more like the seam separated. There is another smaller line that looks like a crack only it can't be felt. There is a small chip in the front. It has a nice design trim with gold decoration.
