Two vintage Monopoly sets. Both of them do not have their original game boards. One is I believe from the early 1930's. This game includes all of the paper money up to $500.00 bills. Chance and community chest cards, play cards, green wooden houses, red wooden hotels, 2 dice, and a set of instructions. It also includes metal markers: a car, thimble, shoe, iron boat, hat, 2 cannons, and pocket book, all in fine condition. On the bottom of the box is a sales label from Lord and Taylor. The box has some foxing and mildew marks and a tear and scuffs. The other set I believe to be from the 1950s. It includes the rules for a short game pamphlet, 2 brief ideas of the game pamphlet and money up to twenty dollar bills. It has seven wooden moving pieces in varying colors, 2 green dice, real estate cards, community chest and chance cards. Ancient Rome Classic Games Collectors Edition 1 Chess Set Weighted Pieces With Felt Bottom 1963 This Chess Set is in Great Condition for it's Age. I would say Excellent if it weren't for the flaws on the box itself. The previous owner had wrapped tape around the box to keep it sealed. Sort of like in a Christmas bow design. Some of the tape was removed but it started peeling the box a little. One corner of the box has a slight tear in too. I took a lot of pictures of the box to show the condition. As for the set itself. It is in Excellent Condition and looks barely used. All pieces have the felt on the bottom and i didn't see any broken pieces in my inspection. Hanging from the sides and bottom are purple/pink vintage beads and very light pink facet cut beads. Finishing off I have placed in each corner of the base antique Czech deep pink glass cabs. BOWL The bowl is in good to very good used condition. It shows some age/use related dust and dirt; has no cracks or repairs; has a couple of small nicks but no big chips. It is approximately 6 ¾” in diameter and 2 ¼” tall. The design inside the bowl is slightly raised black and white dotted flowers and green leaves hand painted on the red clay; the rim has a hand painted border of black with white dots. There is no design on the outside. This piece has a nice sheen to the finish. Especially on the inside of the bowl. Bowl is not signed. It is old but exact age is unknown. POT WITH HANDLES This piece shows more wear than the bowl but is still in decent used condition. It shows age/use related dust. Dirt, and wear; has no cracks or repairs; has scratches and a couple of small nicks but no big chips. It is approximately 6” in diameter; ... more6 ½” wide from handle-to-handle; and 2 ¼” tall. There is no design on the inside of the pot. The outside has black and white hand painted raised dots circling the red clay pot. The rim has a scalloped edging between the two small handles. This piece is not signed. It is old but exact age is unknown. Unless otherwise noted. All of my items up for bid are pre-owned, used and/or vintage and may show normal signs of age and use.
